  • Request: GOP/UEFI VBIOS for MSI N770 TF 2GD5/OC

    Hello Mods!
I'm looking for an UEFI/GOP VBIOS for my new GTX770 Twin Frozr Gaming (2GB)
My current VBIOS Version: 80.04.C3.00.1F (P2005-0000)
    My S/N: 602-V282-28SB1307072937
Short question: Is it sufficiant to flash the new UEFI Bios with the "nvflash <filename>" Syntax or is the Syntax "nvflash --updateuefi <filename>" correct? I stumbled over that command in the command overview and i'm not sure if it should be used.
    Thanks in advance!
    Joesome

    Thanks flobelix for your answer.
If I start the BIOS update it is correct that it is going from x.x.x.1F t x.x.x.1E..
    See dosbox output:
    C:\Users\Marchel Hoek\Desktop\System Tools>nvflash.exe -4 -5 -6 NV282MH.rom

    My ROM:

That is a reference design GTX 780 (N780-3GD5) with a reference nvidia vbios. We don't have informations about GOP vbios from MSI for such. Try contacting MSI directly about it: >>How to contact MSI.<<

  • Request: GOP / UEFI VBIOS for MSI GeForce GT 220

Obviously, this is an old card, so I don't even know if it's possible the get a GOP compatible VBIOS, but if it is, that'd be great. Windows 8.1 keeps giving me  about SecureBoot not being configured correctly, and I'm fairly certain this is the reason why. Otherwise, it works very well in Windows 8.1.
The current VBIOS version is 70.16.2E.00.07 (P06825-vb12). My serial number is 9A17186186.
If this is not possible, can someone let me know what the earliest card that will work is?

    6xx & 7xx series only

  • REQUEST GOP / UEFI BIOS for MSI GTX 650ti

I have a MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard.  I have just installed windows 8 in UEFI / gpt disk format and currently running on the Intel integrated graphics.  I believe I will need an updated GOP/UEFI bios for my GTX 650ti graphics card.
    Serial number is 602-V280-290B1307032672
I tried to include a link to my .rom file but it says "Sorry, you are not allowed to post external links"
I have not tried to install the graphics card yet and from what I have read, it probably will not work in the UEFI mode.  Please provide detailed instructions on how to flash the card to get it running in my system.
    Thanks,
    John

Hi, have been having a weird problem with my PC where GPU seems to crash to a black screen upon exiting a game or ONLY AFTER GPU load. (i.e. Alt-Tab during game, 5-15 seconds after a stress test) Read in a few places that a BIOS update or flash might help.
