Request - ICC profile for the combination - w520 and Dell u2711

Greetings,
Due to the lack of a colorimeter, I come to you with a humble request for few calibrated ICC profiles for the DELL u2711 and the quadro 2000m w520. Probably tftcentral's review might be a well guidance for setting up a ICC profile http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2711.htm
Thanks in advance,

hey utzutz,
could you explain on why you would like to get this ICC profiles ?

  • Can't see the installed icc profiles for my paper in print module

I have downloaded and installed the icc profiles for my favourite Canson and Crane Museo papers on my new Macbook Pro but they don't show up in the options box in the LR 4 print module. Is there another step I have missed? Thanks in advance.

Where did you install the profiles? They should go into
Library/Colorsync/Profiles in your home folder or at the root level of your
hard disk. If you put it in that folder in your home folder, they show up
in user, if you put them in the root Library folder, they show up in
    "Computer" in Colorsync utility

  • ICC profiles for Epson R1800 and Lightroom - Mac Osx

Without trying to inflame an already heated discussion on prints that are too dark under my lightroom - printer - Mac Osx configuration. (Although I too am a sufferer of the darkness...!)
I have recently downloaded the latest ICC profiles for the R1800 directly from Epson to my Mac. There are three of them and for arguments sake they cover the paper type I want "Premium Glossy Photo Paper"
They download as a .sea file and not .icc as I expected.... My knowledge of Mac's doesnt extend to .sea files I'm afraid.
My question is what do i do with the file now that its downoaded?... Nothing happens when you double click on it and It doesnt appear to try to find where to install itself.
On another thread I read about dropping these files into Library - Colorsync - Profiles. They sit there happily but do not appear to show up in Lightroom when I wish to utilise the profiles.
All the original Epson profiles are there from when I installed the Epson Drivers (new and updated) but no new profiles are there. This is definitely the case as the profile "Premium Glossy Photo Paper" is still there but its name should be changed to "Premium Photo Paper Glossy" according to the Epson website... Besides.. If I delete the new files and go back into Lightroom nothing has changed.
Am i placing these files in the wrong area?
    Many thanks for any replies

I suspect that some R1800 users have perhaps not tackled the issue of dark prints and may not be feel that they have an issue at all. I also believe that this particular issue only involves Intel Mac's which may not apply to some.
Your issue may have something to do with the printer driver as well... I made sure that I went and found the very latest driver that Epson has out (there is a new one specifically for Intel Mac's). I made sure that I deleted the driver that came with the original disk.... I did this via the "printer setup utility"... then downloaded and installed the new driver.
Only then did I go through the procedure for installing the new icc profiles as discussed...
The profiles should then automatically appear in Lightroom and in colosync in the "Finder" screen under:
" Users" > then whatever your computer name is > Library > Colorsync > Profiles
The new profiles should then be seen.
This is certainly the way I did it and perhaps the whole process has to be gone through for an Intel Mac.
Hope this helps... I am nowhere near a computer expert but it worked for me.

  • ICC Profiles for papers and not for HP printers.

Hello, I apologize if this has been asked a billion times before, but I have been trying to find the ICC profiles to install for a different printer.
I am not using a HP printer, but a Canon iP6000D.  Let me explain, I'm a student and my class required me to buy different papers that were not for my original printer and I have to install ICC profiles for the papers I chose. My problem is I cannot find the ICC profiles for the paper I bought on the HP site, it's very unweildy and hard to find here. I had no problem finding my moab printer paper ICC profiles...  HP seems to enjoy hiding their profiles.
So where would I find the iCC profiles for the Hp premium plus Photo paper that is Soft gloss 8.5x11" 200gm 80lb? I've looked all over and it seems to be impossible to find.

    Hi,
    This may help:

  • Where do I find the ICC profile for my new Canon Pro-100 printer?

I  downloaded ICC profiles for several different papers, but for optimum color management, do I not also need a ICC profile for the printer itself? Very new to this......I have my ColorMunki and I use Photoshop and Lightroom. Trying to get everything coordinated properly...........
    Thanks for the help,
    Laura Mowrey

If you downloaded ICC profiles for papers they should be for the Pro-100. The paper vendor prints a known pattern of colors using a Pro-100 and then uses a device to analyze the print. The ICC profile contains the correction info that adjusts the printer to make the prints look like the known color pattern.
The Color Munki will calibrate your monitor to make sure that the colors you see are correct.
I suggest you calibrate the monitor to,D50 at 80-90 lumens/m^2.

  • ICC profiles for Photosmart Premium C410a

I have a Photosmart Premium C410a and previously had a C309 series.  I am using Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit).  I am trying to print from Photoshop Lightroom 3 using the managed by application setting which requires ICC profiles for the printer. When I access the "Choose Profiles" window no ICC profiles appear for the C410, but the profiles I used for the old C309 do appear.
How do I find the ICC profiles for the C410 and load them onto my computer?
    Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the links ... it is a start in right direction, except they say to selct printer & paper profile ... and that is the issue - there are none.
The issue for me is that when I select Print within photoshop ... I get the color management options ...
    http://i771.photobucket.com/albums/xx351/Tafflad/Computer/setingsfortestprint.jpg
You can see the option on right for "Color Handling"  it is set to "printer manages color"
Ideally I should be setting this to "Photoshop manages color"  and under "printer Profile"  choose the correct printer/paper combination ...   i.e. something like  HP-C410 glossy  or HP-C410 matte
There are no ICC color profiles there for HP.
I have downloaded and installed the full HP driver package for the printer.  (for PC W7)
Hence my question (and the original posters) do HP have ICC profiles available .... epson produce them for their printers for example.

  • Where can I download ICC profile for Canon paper?

    Hi,
I bought a new MacBookPro and suddenly the ICC profiles that used to be in my Canon Pixma Pro 10 are missing.  I'm specifically looking for: Canon luster, platinum, museum etching.  Can anyone point me to the right direction please?  Thanks.

I am having a similar problem.  I had previously printed on my new Canon Pixma Pro 10 to Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster from my MacBook Pro retina running 10.10.3.  I upgraded to Lightroom 6.  Now I do not have the ICC profile for the luster paper available under Color Management in LR6.  I downloaded and reinstalled the print driver but that didn't give me the profile.  All of the ICC profile downloads that I can find are for other vendors' papers.  The link in ssprengel's post takes me to the driver download page but it doesn't give me the Canon paper ICC profiles. Help.

  • Embedding ICC profiles for third party printing?

    Hi,
This is a question regarding Elelments 11 and embedding ICC profiles. I have succesfully set up a colour balanced system for printing on my own premises. At the time of printing I select the relevant ICC profile for the printer/ink combo I am using. However I need to send files way for larger sizes and want to ensure colour correct prints that match as closely as possible the prints I produce in my own studio.
How do I embed the third parties provided ICC profile in the file before sending to them?
Any help on the correct process would be appreciated,
    thanks
    Andy Martin

Not sure the following answers your question, but have a look here:

  • HP c7180 ICC Profiles for printing in Lightroom 2.0

How do I find ICC profiles for  the various HP photo papers and then import them into Lightroom 2.0.

OK so I've done some testing now using the Lab 33 x 33 x 33 image.
Photoshop seems washed out when printing on photo paper pro but is far more accurate than in lightroom.
I also did an experiment and in Colour matching picked Vendor matching and in the Colour Options printed one with None selected and one with Driver matching selected - the one with Driver matching was much closer to the image on screen.
I also deiscovered that there is a bug in Lightroom which causes Colour matching options to be grayed out. I guess this is something I should be telling Adobe about.

  • Icc profiles for hp 5530 envy

Seeking ICC profiles for the hp 5530 all in one printer.  Needed for improved color control when printing from Photoshop Elements 12.  Currently getting very dark printing with current criteria.

    Hi @OregonKnight
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I see that you would like to know more about color profiles for your Envy 5530 printer.
I have included the Advanced Color Management for HP Next-Generation Inkjet Printing Products document.  It discusses ICC profile settings.

  • How to select the printer and select the ICC profile for printing with VBScript?

I try to automate my printing procedure in photoshop. The problem is that I don't know how to select the printer and select the icc profile for printing with vbscript like I manually do in the print-menu in photoshop?
    Anyone has done this before?
    Thanx!

    Client/Server version:
    - D2KWUTIL.PLL library provides a 'Select Printer' dialog box to be used in Forms: WIN_API_DIALOG.SELECT_PRINTER

I suggest you to create a form to invoke the report, allowing user to select the printer and then pass it as parameter DESNAME

  • Lens Profiles for the Fuji X-E2 and the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader

I just picked up an Fujifilm X-E2 and an 18mm f/2 lens.  I noticed that LR 5.4 doesn't have a profile for this lens/body combination and I'm a little unclear whether it is applied automatically (as was the case with the X100s prior to 5.4), or not.
I also noticed that I can download profiles for the X-E1/18mm combination using the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader and wondered if this was a correct thing to do.
    Thank you,
    Robert

    A couple things:
    1)  ACR 8.4 will show if a built-in profile has been applied and what corrections have been applied, so if you want to post a raw file from your camera and lens combination someone with PS / ACR 8.4 can give feedback about what built-in profiles might be doing.
    2)  Regarding the X100S, using ACR 8.4 RC, for an example image I downloaded, the built-in profile corrected Chromatic Aberration and Vignetting.  The Adobe-supplied external profile corrected Vignetting and Geometric Distortion.  So the Adobe-supplied profile does additional Geometric Distoration compared with the built-in profile.  However, there was double-correction for Vignetting so one has to turn off the vignetting correction for the particular lens profile to avoid double-correction.  Here is a side-by-side example showing these corrections:
This double-correction of vignetting appears to be have been corrected in the final ACR 8.4 and presumably LR 5.4.

  • On my Macbook pro 15 2011, System Profiler is suggesting that it uses SATA III for the hard drive and SATA II for the Optical Drive.  Is that true?

On my Macbook pro 15, 2011, System Profiler is suggesting that it uses SATA III for the hard drive and SATA II for the Optical Drive.  Is that true?

That is correct. The tech specs indicate:
    Hard Drive Interface
    6.0 Gbps Serial ATA (SATA)
    Optical Drive Interface
3.0 or 6.0 Gbps Serial ATA (SATA)

  • What is the correct icc profile for jpegs extracted from DNGs?

Are they always sRGB, or always something else? do they need an icc-profile assigned for colors to be interpreted properly? is the correct profile available as metadata that could be read using exiftool or such?

Profile/color space can be anything - there is a DNG tag called "PreviewColorSpace" that allows for:
    0 = Unknown
    1 = Gray Gamma 2.2
    2 = sRGB
    3 = Adobe RGB
    4 = ProPhoto RGB
Good practice would be to attach an ICC profile to the preview, but I don't think there's any requirement to do so.

  • I just downloaded and paid for Premiere elements but now want the combined Premiere and Photoshop elements. How do I do this?

My headline says it all. I would like to turn my Premiere Elements order into the combined Premiere and Photoshop Elements download offer. I have already paid for Premiere Elements but would like to take advantage of the combined offer for only another $40 or so. How do I do this?
I only downloaded and paid for the Premiere Elements package about two days ago.

Did you purchase Premiere Elements 13 from Adobe Direct? If so, are you within 30 days of that purchase? If the answer to both of those questions is Yes and it appears to be, then you should explore
Contact Adobe Chat clicking on the following link
    Contact Customer Care
    Premiere Elements
    Membership, Account, Payment
    Payments, Invoices, Orders
    Chat Panel
If the link does not hold its set, then you will need to navigate to the Chat Panel using the above titles as guides.
Under the conditions mentioned at the beginning of this reply, I am speculating that Adobe should be able to give you your money back for the Premiere Elements 13, allowing you to purchase Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements which are sold together, but are still really standalone products. How Adobe opts to do that is at its discretion.
    Best wishes
