hi Experts,
please clarify my doubt
here i transported one request from development to production server
it wrongly Transported that request insted of other Request
Result, i get some errors in one program(production)
how can i get solved that Error
is it possible to desiable that Request or any other solution for solve this problem

Hi,
As Juan suggested, you can create a new TR in Dev with the older version of the the program which was in Production, or re-transport the previous TR containing the program (Please ensure any other objects in that TR are not getting overwritten)

Check whether Standard transport switched-on is enabled or not. To get transport request your setting should be as follows : RSA1-->Transport Connection-->Edit-->Transport

Discovery request received on wrong VLAN

I am setting up a new 4404 with my existing WLAN. I have a combo for 1100 and 1200 APs, on two different VLANs, with WDS on each VLAN and a WLSE. One of the VLANs is on the same subnet was the WLC management port. The other WLAN VLAN is not. I am able to join the VLAN on the same subnet to my WLC but when I convert one of my auto APs on the other VLAN, it converts but never joins my WLC. If I run a debug on the WLC I get the following.

My WLC is on code 5.0.148. All of my APs have static IP addresses. I have setup DNS but NOT DHCP since all of them have static IP and that option 42 still confuses me. Any thoughts? My 4506 is set to trunk the port the WLC is on. I even tried to only apply the two VLANs to that port. My WLC can ping the IP of the AP on the different VLAN and my AP can ping the WLC.

You need to configure the native vlan on the trunk port to vlan 160. Looks like the packet is being tagged as vlan 60 and your management interface is set to '0' which is untagged.

Difference between workbench request and customizing request in transport

Hi Experts,
I am new to SAP BI7 work. i am having basic doubt in Transort request creations
ususally we create the requests to transport the objects from Development system to further systems.
can anyone please clarify me, what is the main defference between the Workbench request and Customizing request.

The Transport Organiser maintains Change Requests.These requests record the changes made to the repository and customizing objects.Based on that objects changed they are
1)WorkBench Request & 2) Customizing Request.
Workbench Requests are those that involve changes to cross-client Customising and Repository Objects. The objects are independent of the client.Hence the requests are used for transferring and transporting changed Repository objects and changed system settings from cross-client tables.
Customizing Requests involve changes recorded to client-specific Customizing objects .These client specific requests are used for copying and transporting changed system settings from client-specific tables.

Delete request in transport organizer

If I accidentally collect many unwanted infoobjects in the request, so i need to delete the request in transport organizer. Now I can only delete the info object one by one. If there a feature that i can select all of them and delete all?

Go to SE03 --> under folder Requests / Tasks --> dbl click on "Unloak Objects (Exper tool)"
from the next screen, enter Request no and execute..
unloack all requests that u want to delete. (childs requests and then parent request).
Thnen go to SE09 --> delete those requests, which were unlocked

hi,
Yes, you can delete change requests in transport queue.
You can do it in SE10. Place the cursor on the item and press delete button on application tool bar. If it dint get deleted. Then right click on request and press Sort/Compress . Then try deleting again.

Can i create a new one from transport connection but not transport it automatically? only insert objects inside it.

I think we can..
Please go through the steps below,
1. Go to rsa1 -> business content
2. Choose 'grouping' as "in dataflow afterwards"
3. choose 'collection mode' as "collect automatically"
4. choose 'infoproviders by infoareas' - choose appropriate infoprovider and 'insert objects for collection'
5. Select your query / queries
6.choose 'create transport request for BEx' and select appropriate development class
To Release a request....
se09/se10, 'modifiable' is marked, and 'display', cursor on you request and click truck button (release),
if request has 'child' request, need to release it first.
To delete or remove request
Goto SE03
Requets/Tasks > Unlock Objects
Give the Request num & Execute
Now Delete the Request on SE09
It is possible to rmove before transportataion from SE03. Well if you want to remove from after transportation it can happen in a case like this. While you delete the obect in dev, it should ask for a request and when that request is transported the object will get deleted in the target sys too.

i am transporting from production to development and i need to make transport of copies of that workbench request, why i need to do this?

Workbench request - created in the 'source system' where the object was first created. Each object has a 'source system' attribute (table TADIR).
Copies - When transporting from a system other than the 'source system'.
The basic idea is that the 'source system' is the place where an object shall be changed (using a workbench request), while copies can be moved from other systems as well. You can ofcourse override this check.

Hi Sunny,
you have to assign the neccessary objects need to be transported to Quality using Transport Connection in RSA1
while assigning an object if you find it is already assigned to some other request then first release the existing request and then go ahead with new request.
Always first release the Tasks and thn release the request in SE09/10
To check whether if one object is assigned to multiple requests
Go to Se03 >Objects in Requests> Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks --> Object selection --> select the respective object like cubes, ods,infoobjects > enter the technical name> and start searching

SCMA create transport request: Suggested request owner is wrong

Hi,
When we try to create a transport request via SCMA the suggested request owner is not the user executing the create request itself but the user who created the project some time ago. Eventhough this user can be changed this leads to wrongly assigned transport requests.
Since project creation number of users have been added to the project in solar_project_admin but they are not taken into account.
We already did try creating a new task list for the project but that did not work.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Hi Tom,
Normally it is done via action Create Transport Request in the SDHF/SDMI document.
There are certain advantages of it.....for e.g..u can create a task if u want to have mulitple changes and can assign multiple developers

Error in WB Request while Transporting on STMS

I have a WB transport Request for my Report, where the Request contains Data Elements, Programs, SE11 Table, TMG, Screens, Tcode related to my development. Now, while moving the request from DEVELOPMENT to QUALITY system on STMS, it ended with ERROR 8.How can I know, in which object there is an Error while transporting.
My error is shown as..
Generation of Programs and Screens --- (8) Ended with errors

I think some object or component is missing in transport request, like function group, screen parameters or any one in your program. Activate all objects and resend dev to qas. If again same issue, you delete the request and generate new request.

Creating a request in Transports? Step by step needed.

Hi BW gurus,
I would like to know the steps for creating a request with collection of necessary objects which needs to be transported.
the necessary objects are: Multi provider, Info cube, Update rules.
Collection mode is selected as manually.
Grouping is selected as only necessary objects.
The Infocube which needs to be transported is the new one created from a copy of existing cube.
The Multiprovider is the existing one which has been modified by including the new cube created.
The Update rules which needs to be transported are also the new ones created from the copy of existing ones.
So, Please give me the step by step procedure for doing this.
Note: Against Multiprovider, we have a check box for transport. When that can be checked. I hope it can be checked if we select the data flow before & afterwards only.
Please clarrify.

In Transport Connection Just select U r Multi provider select grouping with Before
then u 'ill get u r requirement after u can select witch objects u needs to transport.

It says i have bars, but i can't call, top up or text, all it keeps saying is error performing request, unkown request. what is wrong and what do i do

like it says in the title, I have a 3GS and i'm with O2, it is saying I have service/bars most of the time full bars, but when I go to text, call or even top up, it comes up with error performing request, unknown error. I can't receive calls or texts either, I can't use the phone side of my phone everything else like iPod, Internet etc is working fine, but nothing is working for my phone.
I've checked my sim card, I've made sure it is in properly, I've turned it off and on. nothing is working
what is wrong with my iPhone why is it not working, and how do I fix it.
