Request showing green, but query is saying no applicable data?

hi,
we r testing queries with test data.
they said they loaded data around 100-150 records.
requests r showing green.
but when we click on monitor icon on request its red.
...issue is with any combination we r unable to see data in query.
is it for...data is not suitable for requiremnts or is it because data is not loaded properly.
in manage option we r seeing records.
where is the problem.?

Hi Neeraja,
I think the problem is with the selection conditions you are giving in the varaible screen. I mean you may have loaded the data for one plant and there is not enough masterdata loaded for it like storage location etc.. One more thing is if you are giving a selection date like current date wherein you are giving some other date than the date for which the data is loaded then it gives as No applicable Data is available for your selections.
Hope I am clear,
Bobs.

Hello,
My white McBook (2008 or 2009) recently stopped turning on. When I hook up the Magsafe power adapter, the light shows green, but the computer will not turn on, or make a sound. I've tried the re-boot option, but nothing works. I first thought I needed a new battery because the lights at the back are all off, but shouldn't the computer turn on once the power adapter is hooked up and the light on the Magsafe adapter shows green? I'm a computer doofus, so please be kind. Please advise! Thanks in advance.

Take it in for service.

Could be bad ram or logic board. Take it to an Apple store or AASP.

hi mafalda,
"the option from the preference menu to allow itunes to be played on remote speakers checked"
The exact option that need to be checked in the Advanced tab of the iTunes preferences is "Look for remote speakers connected with Airtunes". i guess that's the option you are refering too.
when you then look on the iTunes window on the bottom right corner, are you seeing the selector for speakers? there should be a drop down list there where you can select your output source that could be your computor, AirTunes speakers or both. if you see this selector, have you selected the remote speakers?
if you have all this, make sure your iTunes volume is at a sufficient level (unless you have checked "Disable iTunes volume control for remote speaker").
if this does not work, post back to let us know if you did actually see your remote speaker from the drop down list on the lower corner of iTunes. if you did not, it may be the configuration of the AE that is somehow incorrrect.

There may be an issue with the Firefox plugin checker.
Please do the following:
#Close Firefox
#Open the application data folder and locate the Firefox data
#Locate and open your profile from the folder
#Rename the
pluginreg.data
file

• WCS Alarm Status shows green but LAP is unplugged ?! Oper Staus shows Down

Hello,
we are operating a Cisco WLAN environment with 1242 and 1131 LAP. Some of them have been converted from AP to LAP.
Now we took some LAP off the wall.
They are now packed in a box in our storage room.
But the WCS is showing a green Alarm Status for these LAP and as Oper Status Down.
How can that be ?
Is there a way to fix this problem, because we want to see the Alarm Status in Red.
Thx for all your input.
Best Regards
Christian

This is very interesting. If I try to put myself in the WCS developer's shoes, I think:
- if you get an alarm for missing AP, then acknowledge the alarm, WCS has no reason to re-display the same alarm. This is precisely what Acknowledge is for, to say "don't bother me with this issue anymore".
- Even if you manually remove the AP from WCS, it clearly keeps some memory of it, at least for a while. This is something you can clearly see if you run a report of any kind, WCS has to keep track of objects even if you remove them.
My suggestion would be:
- Unacknowledge the alarm, then delete it... acknowledging an alarm is probably not the best way to deal with removing an AP. You would use Aknowledge for alarms such as "your neighbour AP keep being detected as rogue, you can't remove your neighbour AP but don't want to hear about this warning anymore." You acknowledge the alarm, WCS keeps it in its database and remembers NOT to bother you with it anymore (exactly what happens in your case).
For an AP you remove, I would not acknowledge the alarm, but simply delete it after having removed the AP. This removes the alarm from the WCS database.
If you ever re-plug this AP to the network, WCS may remember it, but any new alarm about it will display.
Hope it helps

• Airport express showing green but no internet connection

I have a new airport express (2013) connected to a motorola canopy point to multipoint wireless broadband system.
The express is in bridge mode and is using 8.8.4.4 and 208.67.222.222 as the DNS servers.
The aiport is showing a green light consistetly. However, the internet connection of devices on the network drops intermittently. Airport utility shows a yellow indicator and "disconnected".
Sometime the connection reappears quickly. Other times a restart in necessary.
It does not happen simulatnaesouly for every device. Some can have a connection while others do not. As I write this, my MB Air has an internet connection but my iPhone does not.
Fixes I have tried:
Powering down and powering back up begining with the modem and then the base station.
Changing base station channel
Turning off wireless printer
Renewing DHCP lease on base station
Renewing DHCP lease on individual units
I see others with this problem but the fixes seem random. I was thinking it is a DNS issue but... the error reads "disconnected" not DNS issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

The issues seems to be DNS related.
When the internetconnection drops, the airport utility indicator switches to yellow, I can still get websites to reslive by using their IP addresses in place of the URL. E.g. http://173.194.70.101 for google.
But I can make neither heads nor tails of why this happens or when...
The one thing I think I am noticing but does not make any sense is that when I use the IP instead of the URL, it forces the connection back on.

• Audio Capacity Bar showing full, but Free Space says 52.30 still...

Kind of hard to explain, but in the Summary View of mu iPod, the Audio Capacity says 1,712,986,856 then some garbled characters, then the Vido says 8.45 GB, photos 196.3 MB and again, free space is at 51.30 (it's an 80 GB video). The bar is all blue, but the iPod isn't full... Anyone see this before? It doesn't seem to be a problem, makes me nervous though. On that note, is there a way to see the size of the files on in iTunes, more like which is the largest, etc? And also on the iPod? I',m wondering if I could do like a du -ks * sort of command on the iPod and iTunes, see what are the big files, make sure it's all ok. Maybe wasted time... Anyway, any help appreciated.
JP

I just upgraded iTunes to Windows version 7.3.1 and the problem still exists for me. In the summary view, the capacity bar at the bottom is solid blue and the Audio data size displays -1,194,043,981.634. However, the number changes when I click on the capacity bar to display the number of audio songs or number of days. I have a screen shot.

• Why won't my airport express work with the latest iTunes, the airport shows green but there is no icon in iTunes any longer, what has gone wrong, desperate!!

Airport Express used to work with iTunes v11 but now with v12 there is no sign of the little icon that used to appear over the volume button. The Airport is finding the network, nothing has changed bar the version of iTunes, what should I do??

A friend has helped me solve this problem, in my case it was nothing to do with Windows firewalls as some have suggested but it was simply a matter of resetting both the router and the Airport, the Airport is fairly obvious but not the router at least this was the first time I recall HAVING to reset it.

• Status Date Shows NA But Really Should Have a Designated Date

Hello all,
I receive project files on occasion from which I know have an active Status Date (SD). When I open the file, the SD will show NA, indicating a SD hadn't been designated.
I've come across this issue typically, it seems, when I open a file that originated or was saved on a 2010 version of Project (probably standard edition). I have been using primarily MSP Professional 2013 to manage my schedules. When I open the files on
a 2010 version of MSP, the SD will reflect that correct SD I should be seeing.
Is this a bug that's being looked into? A search on here did not come up with any answers to my particular question. Thanks in advance for any knowledge and help!
Jay M.

Hi Jay,
I cannot reproduce your issue. After saving a project with a SD in Project Pro 2010 SP2, I open it in MS Project Pro 2013 and the SD is still there. Which 2010 service pack are you using?

• Airport express won't extend network via ethernet but shows GREEN (HELP!!)

I have the following routers setup up the same network and are working.
10.0.1.1 Airport Extreme (connected to hardline from IP)
10.0.1.2 Time Capsule 1 (extending network and providing internet connection to computer via ethernet)
10.0.1.3 Time Capsule 2 (extending network and providing internet connection to Xbox1)
10.0.1.4 Airport Express 1 (extending network and providing internet connection to Xbox2)
Not working correctly
10.0.1.43 Airport Express 2 (wanting to set this router up to extend network to plug into desktop)
The router seems to join the network fine and will show GREEN but doesn't show a similar IP address as the rest of the routers. It also doesn't provide any internet connection via ethernet to any computer, the network pref page says that it shows RED and that nothing is connected to the computer for internet but airport shows GREEN.
Reset the router multiple times, tried every which way of setting it up and no go. I also tried assigning it a IP and not using DHCP and gave it a 10.0.1.5 and still the same outcome.
Right now just at complete loss as to what to try next.

Sorry, the older version of the Express does not have the option to "extend a wireless network", which is the setting on the new Express that provides more wireless coverage and also enables the Ethernet port.
What you want to do can be done with a different setting..."participate in a WDS network" on both the Time Capsule and Express, but I am not recommending that you do this because WDS operates only in "g" wireless mode. Your Time Capsule would lose most of its performance in this setting and the network would slow down tremendously...defintely not what you want for gaming.
You'll have the best performance if you connect the PS3 directly to one of the Ethernet ports on the Time Capsule using an Ethernet cable. If it is not possible to run the cable, the next best performance option would be to use a pair of Ethernet powerline adapters to send the Ethernet signal over the existing AC wiring in your home.

• I have a Time Capsule as my router. I can connect wirelessly to the network and internet with my MBPr, but my Mac Mini will only connect to the network wired or wirelessly. Airport on it sees the internet as green, but will not connect.

I have the Time Capsule hooked to a wireless modem. It uses a static IP, which is put in and running. The MBPr connects, as well as my iPhone 5, to the internet and network without problem. I can see the Mac Mini, external drive attached to it, and the Time Capsule. The Mac Mini connects to the network wired or wirelessly, but not to the internet. On wireless, using AirPort the Internet shows green, but no connection when I open Safari. The settings under network settings are identical except for LAN IP between the Mac Mini and the MBPr. I was hoping someone might have an idea of what was going on. Before I moved the Time Capsule was on Bridge mode from another router, now it is on DHCP and NAT for the internal network.

No, its is connected direct to the providers fiber box.

• Airport Express shows green, no signal.

So after finally moving into my new apartment, I decided to finally go wireless with my iMac G5 and my girlfriend's eMac G4. We practically skipped into the Apple store, purchased an Airport Express card and two airport extreme cards.
And then it all went downhill. I installed the Extreme card into my iMac and it picked up the signal instantly. Well, this was because the Airport Express was leaning against the unit. If I move the Express even one foot away from my Mac, the signal drops completely. There's nothing. The Express still shows "green" but the signal isn't getting to the iMac at all.
Any thoughts?

Most likely problem - when you installed the Airport card into your iMac, you either (a) forgot to attach the internal Airport antenna cable connector to its socket on the Airport card, or (b) you did not FULLY push the connector into its socket, which takes a fair bit of force to do properly.
Review the Airport card installation instructions at:

I purchased a book in I books and it's shows downloaded but when I go to open it reads " failed to load because requested resource is missing". how do I retrieve my book?

Hello Mike,
I am sure you are eager to read the new book you purchased. I have a few suggestions to download and open your book.
First, I recommend deleting the book from iBooks and downloading it from your list of past purchases using the steps in the following article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

If the book still does not download or open, you can report an issue with this purchase using the steps in this article:
