Request status is Green,But no data is loaded into infocube.

I have loaded the data from Flat File to Infocube. The status of the request is Green. But no records are added into infocube.
The data is available in PSA.

I had created DTP and scheduled it. There shows a request in infocube with status green but no records added.
I have checked in PSA , the data is present in PSA.
I am wondering why data is not uploaded from PSA to Infocube.

I have created a new application copying the planning application (which was again a copy from the apshell application set). I modified the dimensions, after which I wanted to load data from a BW infoprovider using the datamanager.
The first thing I noticed in the datamanager, was that the packages were not the same as in the original planning application. In fact I had chosen to copy all objects to the new application. For example, the package 'load data from infoprovider' that was contained in the data management map of the planning application, was not visible anymore in my new application. Instead, there is a package 'Loadinfoprovider' located in the system administrative map. As these packages are exactly the same, the package 'Loadinfoprovider' does not seem to work properly. When you run the package, it says that is has submitted records to your application, but when you run a report on it, or go look to the bpc infocube in BW, no data is visible.
Does anyone know what may cause this problem ?

Did you check your transformation file?
I had the same problem once, my mistake was that I didn't add a line for my key figure amount (AMOUNT=ZAMOUNT). So the status is green but no data transferred because no key figure to transform.

Data load into InfoCube

Hi,
I am trying to load data from DSO to InfoCube. I am not able to see the data into InfoCube.
Details: Intially data was present in InfoCube, i have made some changes into InfoCube(added some Nav attr) and activated the InfoCube. when i load data from DSO into InfoCube, i am not able to see the data. In monitor tab, i can see that 107 records updated into InfoCube. status is green. i checked the load using debugging mode, data is present till 'After the Transformation'. but could n't see the data therafter (while updating in cube). if i see the contents of InfoCube, there are 107 rows but all with blank values.
Could you please let me know how to fix this problem.

You may have to dump all the data in your cube and reload it from the DSO

When capturing images from a Nikon D600, they show in Bridge, but when clicked to load into CS6,an error message says that it is the wrong type of document, even jpeg files. This is a NEW frustration.

Nikon raw files would open up in Adobe Camera Raw and so should jpegs.
If you select one in Bridge and give the command "Ctrl r" (Windows), what happens?

You can probably do that but why would you want to do it? Transaction data is generally required for querying purposes and queries run best on multidimensional cube structure, not a flat structure.

Can we execute the Reporting while the data is loading into that ODS/Cube.

Hi Shaliny,
First of all you are in the wrong forum, in Business Intelligence Old Forum (Read Only Archive) you will find better support.
In case you are loading data in an infocube you will be able to have report only until the request that has the icon ready for reporting filled. In case of an ODS object i don't think you will be able to have valid reporting since the ODS data firstly needs to be activated.
Nevertheless please post your question in the above link.

I have to do a self load on a infocube, Can do load only for specific request?
For ex: Infocube->Manage->Requests I see 4 Requests, can I pick only one request out of those 4 and do a self load into infocube for that one request?

Please do a fetched run in the DTP(i hope the option will get enabled for delta DTP) and reset the datamart status only for that particular request in the source which you need to load. Try loading it again?

Request Status Differs in RSMO and Data target

Hi,
I have a master data full load . it strucked in trfc and i cleared it manually in sm58.
The request in RSMO turns to Green automatically,but the datatarget in status tab it shows in red.
Why is this behavior and how to rectify it

Hi,
As the dataload did not get complete because of data getting stuck in SM58, the datatarget monitor would get changed to red automatically once the expiry time for dataload completion is reached.
After this, you would have cleared the SM58 by executing LUWs in it. Because of it, RSMO would be showing green whereas datatarget is still red.
Just check in the datatarget monitor whether any data has got loaded. If yes, then turn the status manually to green and activate the dataload. It would not give any issues.

Request is in green, but in the monitor it says "Not yet Completed/warning"

When I go to the manage screen of ODS I see green in "Request Status". If I go the Monitor and details couple of data packages are still in Yellow color.
Over all it says Not yet Completed/warnings with yellow indicator..
What it means?

In the Monitor screen Under the Details Tab Go to any yellow marked Data Package and see if any message is available there.

I need some help on de-Personalizing customer data before loading it into the database using SSIS.
So one all the transformation done and finally want to load the data into respective tables , we need to de-personalize it.
Also, how it will handle datatype of the table for each columns need to be de-personalized ?
Later on we have to again de-cript once its tested by the testers.

We have to encrypt the data before loading the data into the table.
As we are not encrypting the client ID that can be used to join with other tables for testing purpose but tester won’t able to see the other Client Personal Data
like account number, address and DOB etc .
we have to decrypt the data back once testing is done.

we are trying to load the data into BI from text files.. This data needs to be cleaned before it can be loaded into BI and this has to be done using UNIX sed commands!!
We basically need to do a data cleansing act, like removing unwanted characters (tab values and newline values as part of the characteristic values). How can it be done using unix sed commands??

Data Loading into Infocube from ECC.

Hi,
Can someone help me with the list of steps to be followed for loading data into infocube using Data trasnformation process. Steps to be perfomed in the system.
Also please share any links on various methods of loading data into infocube from ECC.

The steps would be *** foloows:-
1) Create the info-objects.
2) Create the infocube. If you a Planning area and the cube is a replica of the PA you can use /SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_TO_ICUBE to create the infocube.
3) You create a source system as a file system.
4) You create the datasource with the relevant fields.
5) You create a transformation for the cube using the datasource you created in step 4.
6) Last step would be to create DTP. When you create the DTP, on the first screen, check the checkbox for "Do not load data from PSA". This will give you additional fields to enter the file path. When this DTP is created and generated, goto the last tab of the DTP to execute.
This will help you to directly pull the data from the file and load it into the cube.
You can also create a Process chain to automate this process.
Hope this helps.

WCS Alarm Status shows green but LAP is unplugged ?! Oper Staus shows Down

we are operating a Cisco WLAN environment with 1242 and 1131 LAP. Some of them have been converted from AP to LAP.
Now we took some LAP off the wall.
They are now packed in a box in our storage room.
But the WCS is showing a green Alarm Status for these LAP and as Oper Status Down.
How can that be ?
Is there a way to fix this problem, because we want to see the Alarm Status in Red.

This is very interesting. If I try to put myself in the WCS developer's shoes, I think:
- if you get an alarm for missing AP, then acknowledge the alarm, WCS has no reason to re-display the same alarm. This is precisely what Acknowledge is for, to say "don't bother me with this issue anymore".
- Even if you manually remove the AP from WCS, it clearly keeps some memory of it, at least for a while. This is something you can clearly see if you run a report of any kind, WCS has to keep track of objects even if you remove them.
My suggestion would be:
- Unacknowledge the alarm, then delete it... acknowledging an alarm is probably not the best way to deal with removing an AP. You would use Aknowledge for alarms such as "your neighbour AP keep being detected as rogue, you can't remove your neighbour AP but don't want to hear about this warning anymore." You acknowledge the alarm, WCS keeps it in its database and remembers NOT to bother you with it anymore (exactly what happens in your case).
For an AP you remove, I would not acknowledge the alarm, but simply delete it after having removed the AP. This removes the alarm from the WCS database.
If you ever re-plug this AP to the network, WCS may remember it, but any new alarm about it will display.

Im loading the data into the 0PUR_C01 from the two datasources 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL.
First im trying to load the data from the 2LIS_02_ITM int the InfoCube 0PUR_C01.
Then request is loaded successfully and im getting the reporting symbol in the 'Manage' of the InfoCube.But
Transffferd Records = 22000
Added Records = 0
why it is like that ..
pls tell me i ll assing the points

End Routine is NOT modifying the DSO with new data after load into that DSO

I am creating an End Routine for DSO to populate a field ZFCMP_FLG (to store 'Y' ) with lookup from another DSO ZMDS_D01. This new field shows blank instead of 'Y', after activating the DSO. The RESULT_PACKAGE record is populated with 'Y' for ZFCMP_FLG while debugging that End Routine and why it is NOT writing the modified records into DSO, please ? It is a Characteristic InfoObject with length 1 to store 'Y'. The following is some part of the code:

Since you are using Field symbol to loop the internal Table there is no need to use the MODIFY Statement in the loop.
So your code is correct only.
But here you have to check the status of READ TABLE command in the debug mode.
it may be failing that's why the RESULT_PACKAGE is not getting modified.
Plz check it.
Note: You may need to SORT the Int Table since you are using BINARY SEARCH. check below.
