[REQUEST] update ibus and all its components
ibus 1.3.9 is released 9 months ago, so it is quite old.
could any TUs and DEVs update the ibus branches to git version on github?
It has quite a lot of bug fixes.
I think ibus is important because gnome is going to integrate it in 3.2. I really want to see several testing builds just like other important packages.
Usually, we stick with stable release for the packages in the repo. There are exceptions but the problem with ibus is that it's orphaned so no-one want to take the responsability in case the unstable release has problems. I took a look and some of the ibus stuff have newer stable release so I'll update them. There are also unstable releases which help a bit since you don't need to worry about choosing the correct git snapshot, but I'll need to see what other distro are doing. As I don't use ibus, I don't want to introduce new problems.

Zoom JPanel and all its components
Folkses,
I have a JPanel which contains a lot of different components, containers with components, etc.
The components are either images or drawn 'by hand' (overwritten paintComponent).
Is there a simple way of zooming in/out to get the whole picture larger/smaller? I know Graphics2D.scale() but I'm hestitant to implement this in each and every component of my JPanel.

Well, you can create an image of a panel and then zoom the image.But I think this will not increase the components' bounds and components would not respond mouse events etc. correctly. Am I right? Then, what is the way of zooming such that all the components respond to events correctly.

Okay, My iPod needed an update so I tried to update it and all it is showing is an white apple logo. Its been like that for a day now. I don't know what to do. Ive asked some people and they told told me to take it to apple, at&t or go on iTunes onto the computer. So I tried to restore it and I don't know how. I would first recommend going through all of the steps in the articles below.
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

If the issue persists or your device displays a connect to iTunes graphic, process the steps in article below.
Use recovery mode
Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.
Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.
Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.
Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.
When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.
iTunes should open and display a message such as: "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
Use iTunes to restore your device.
If you don't see your device in iTunes, follow these steps for Mac or these for Windows.

My itunes says that my ipod is synced with another library when it is not and cannot update or sync without wiping it and all its data
Can anyone help meSyncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
All media content will be erased during the first sync, but you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

i tried to update my ipad to 7.1.2, and i tried updating it and know its telling me to connect to itunes but i a at a different computer and all of my ictures are going to get deletd and i dont want that.

The BADI is executed only once at startup of the session, so that makes it merely static. (A strange point in time, I discussed it with SAP and they just shook their heads)
I had the same problem with some other F4-Helps and it was a big hazzle. From my experience, no straight answer. -
How to print a dialog box with all its components ?

I've written an application.It has a dialog box [JDialog] containing following components:
1) 2 JLabels.
1) A JTextField.
3) A JTable with some values.
4) A JProgressBar.
5) A JButton.
6) An animated gif image.
I want to print the dialog box with all its components exactly as the are [ Except the button & animated gif ].
Would anybody please help me?

It suggests creating a subclass of the JComponent that you want to print, and have it implement Printable interface.
So, something like (note, uncompiled / untested code alert) :

In my Iphone 5, Nothing on my App Store is working, its displaying blank (Except for Genius section). I've tried to uninstall and install itunes and all its component in my desktop but still it doesn't fix the app store issue. Not sure if its problem with apple servers. Someone help please!

how can I save a page and all its component parts in a single file, like IE does as an MHT?
It's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)
It is simply too painful to have to zip everything up into a single file to send. MHT format has been available for years now from IE, and with every new FF release it's the first thing I look for. I have been using FF for years, and hate having to come out of it, over into IE |(which I even took out of startup) and key everything in again, in order to send somebody something in a convenient format that they can open with a single click.
I can't believe this hasn't been asked before, so have you looked at it and rejected it? Have MS kept the file format secret?

MGThis is not really an answer just my comments on your question.
I am sure I recollect efforts being made to get mhtml to work with FF.
Probably the important thing to remember about .mhtml is that if other browsers do support it they may need addons, and may not necessarily render the content correctly/consistently.
There are FF addons designed for archiving webpages, you could try them, but that then assumes the recipient has the same software.
You could simply save the page from FF to your XP pc; then offline open it with and save it using IE, before then emailing using FF, and attaching the .mht or mhtml file that you have now created on your PC.
As an alternative method, in some cases it could be worth considering taking a screen grab of the required page, then sending that to the recipient as a single email attatchment using either a bitmap or jpeg file format for instance.
Something such as an airline booking may be designed with a print option, possibly it could be worthwile looking at sending the print file itself as an email attachment. -

You can just install db + rcu + wlst + soa on 1 machine. After that you middleware should be up and running.
Now you can install jdeveloper + soa extensions on your client and connect to the remote location of the soa server

How to completely remove safari and all its files?
I have Windows Vista and I need to COMPLETELY remove Safari and ALL its files. It is important that it is completely removed, and I've already tried simply uninstalling (from "uninstall a program" in the control panel)it but it doesn't get rid of EVERYTHING safari. I think some of the files are damaged or something because Safari won't open. How would I do this?
