here is latest vbios for your card
    Hi Svet
Im currently using the previous bios version and want to update to the latest for my 2x GTX 970.
Can i use the one you attached?
The reason im asking is because there are many that say each MSI GTX 970 have an unique bios between 5 different(?). For getting correct bios version you have to look at the cards serialnumber

Can you tell me the difference the Bios I did have with this card, vs the bios you linked me to?
For vBIOSes we don't have any release notes, unless they're VERY crucial like fan fix or temp reading fix.

I had written down the bios a few days ago and it was
    015.043.000.004.000000
    the bios you gave is
    015.046.000.006.000000
These numbers are not really vBIOS versions. It's all within the coding inside the file

    Thank you.
Do you need me to upload the bios file? because I believe that the msi website has the 70R archive which made my laptop useless.
you mean you don't want latest version [70S or 70R],
    but 70J exactly?

I need clearer instruction on how to remove the keyboard.
There are 3 clips/locks on the top portion of the keyboard. somehow Prying it with a flat head screw driver does nothing.
Or do you need to unscrew the screws at the botton of the chassis first before trying to remove the keyboard?
How exactly do you pry the said 3 clips/locks at the top of the keyboard?

  • MSI GTX560 M2DIGD5

    Hello,
Yesterday I tried installing my new MSI GTX560 graphic card.
It's properly connected to my mainbord, and screwed in place.
Today, I found out my computer isn't using the graphic card, but the onboard graphics.
The graphic card could not be found in BIOS, not with Lavaly's Everest and when I tried installing the driver (both nvidea and msi) it says the matching hardware could not be found.
What am I doing wrong? anyone else having this problem? I reattached it, didn't matter.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jasper

hmm, I only have 1 6-pin connecter, connected to the graphic card, as only one came with the power supply.
When trying to connect another one (came separate with the power supply) the desktop wont start up properly.
its a 500w coolermaster extreme which should be enough for the whole dekstop as I didnt put too much high end stuff in there
The GTX 560 requires two PCI-E power connectors to be plugged in. Are you using a converter to connect to the second PCI-E socket on the card?
What's the combined amperage on the two +12v rails of your power supply? (Combined wattage / 12 if amps aren't shown)
I think you should borrow a decent single +12v rail power supply (500W with at least 31A on the +12v rail) with two PCI-E power connectors to test with.

  • MSI GTX560 Ti Hawk - can a pc case make a difference.

Can a PC case make the components sound worse?
I've got the Antec Def-Con 35 and the entire pc sounds very noisy - i mean i can hear the computer is switched on even from across the hallway.....I've got the MSI GTX560 Ti Hawk and according to many reviewers like http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4049/msi_geforce_gtx_560_ti_hawk_video_card_review/index17.html
the graphic card is a very quiet card with high performance.
Do you think another case can make a difference? My friends i7 with GTX460 in a NZXT Hades case has a very nice soft whoosh playing BC2 at full graphics while mine is definitely much louder.

I've had a 260 GTX OC Twin Frozr, 465 GTX Twin Frozr ll, 460 Hawk Twin Frozr ll and now a 560 GTX Ti Twin Frozr ll and none of then made much noise till fan speed went over 70-75 % running Furmark on them. In normal daily use the front fan in my case makes more noise than anything else in it. I would bet that all of those case fans you have are probably making too much noise. I have 1 front & 1 rear case fan and they are all that's needed to keep noise down & provide enough airflow for cooling my rig in the Cooler Master Elite 330 case. If your 560 is running to hot and the fans at high speed then remove the HSF on it and replace the TIM on it There seems to have been quite a few MSI cards that needed this done. I guess I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have that problem.
Take a cardboard tube like what paper towels come on and isolate what fans are making the loudest noise.

  • MSI GTX560 Ti Hawk Load Temperatures

I just got my MSI GTX560 Ti Hawk within the last week. It's a nice 37 degrees on idle but runs at 75 degrees on load with fans running at 70-76% taken from GPU-Z. I tried running it with the case open with a large fan blowing into the case but the temperatures only dropped 3-4 degrees to 73-74 degrees. Before getting the Hawk I read reviews that it should run between the low 50s to at most high 60s if the fan speed switch set to "silent". But for mine, the switch is set to "performance" but I couldn't get similar temperatures. Any help for my situation? :/
Oh yeah here are my PC Specs:
    Intel Core i5-2500 @ 3.30GHz
    Biostar TP67B+
MSI GTX 560 Ti HAWK with 270.61 Driver
    Team Elite PC10600/1333MHz DDR3 8GB
    WD Blue 500GB 16MB + Hitachi Deskstar 1TB 32MB
    Dell U2311h
    Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio
    LG 22x DVD-RW
    FSP Aurum 600w
    Coolermaster CM 690 II Basic
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
The ambient temeperature is around 27 degrees on average at night here where I stay and was 27 degrees when I took the readings.
All hardware is runnign at stock voltages and speeds, no overclocking has be done at all on any component.

  • Msi gtx560-Ti Twin Frozr 3 Issues

    Hi,
My friend just sold me is msi gtx560-ti Hawk one week ago.The issue is that when i play a games for exemple Payday 2,after 5 minute of gaming my pc does a random reboot.
    Spec:
    Motherboard: Gigabytes 970A-DS3P
    CPU:AMD Fx-8350 Eight-Core
    Video Card:Msi gtx560-Ti Twin Frozr 3 Hawk
    PSU:RocketFish 550W
    HDD:2011 Seagate Barracuda 1tb
On the video card there is 8 red del light up(Bad?) and in the pc of my friend they were blue.Is it a problem of PSU?
Edit 1:I googled on internet and find nothing helpful so i decided to post in on the ''official'' forum

The only thing that was in my pc before i sold it was my PSU.
I just received last week from Ncix my CPU,8gb RAM and the motherboard.
The video card specs recommend a 600W PSU,but before buying a 700W PSU (just to be sure) i wanted to know if its really the problem.
I read on some forum that the led shows the power charge. So logically if its all blue its fine and if its all red its not?
Edit 1:The PSU was working very well in my old Pc.
    Motherboard:Gigabyte MA785G-UD3H
    CPU:AMD Phenom II X
    Video card:Sapphire Radeon HD 5850
    Ram:4gb ddr2+
