Require a credential for the Adobe Interactive Forms scenarios- Charges

Hi Friends,
I need a info on Adobe Document Services, I have configured the service in an ECC 6.0 system. Now I would like to enable the interactive feature of adobe forms. which is further required to apply for a credentials .pfx file PKCS#12 file. I just want to know whether it is chargable ( $ ) for one credentials, I have S -user ID of my client. I need this for testing purpose ..is there any alternative way to get this PKCS#12 file in free for some duration or the only way to create message to SAP applying for credentials ( As per SAP Note: 736902)

Hello Rabi,
I did some investigation about the licensing for Adobe forms and i figured out from our SAP Rep that first 20 forms that you change..are free and after that its chargable..You might need to check your SAP Rep to get more insight into it.

Function:
Through the sharing context node between adobe interactive form and a WDA for ABAP, display the data of the sflight_node in the ADOBE.

The following is my action:
1.     Create a interface (Z_SFLIGHT_INTF) with a attribute node (SFLIGHT_NODE) that type is "sflight" using the transaction code "sfp"
2.     Create a form (Z_SFLIGHT_FORM) using the transaction code "sfp" with the interface Z_SFLIGHT_INTF.
3.     Trag the sflight_node in the Z_SFLIGHT_INTF to the form( Z_SFLIGHT_FORM).
4.     Open the layout tab in the form(Z_SFLIGHT_FORM), and create a table(table1). Click the table created just now, select the binding tab in the object tab, and in the Default Binding, select the SFLIGHT_NODE under the Z_SFLIGHT_FORM.
Problem 1:
Do you tell me whether is right for binding the context SFLIGHT_NODE using this way? If bind 3 context attributes in the sflight, how can I do it?
5.     Create a WDA for abap (ZZ_02_SFLIGHT), and create a view(MAINVIEW) using transaction code "se80" in the sap-gui with adobe interactive form. Set the templatesource(Z_SFLIGHT_FORM) in the adobe interactive form properties and saved, and then, datasource is "MAINVIEW_Z_SFLIGHT_FORM" automatically.
6.     But I only found the attribute SFLIGHT_NODE under the context node(Z_SFLIGHT_NODE), and I don't found the NODE ( SFLIGHT_NODE ) context in the context tab in the WDA for abap so that I don't set data to the context NODE (SFLIGHT_NODE).
Problem 2:
Do you tell me what can I do it so that I get the node SFLIGHT_NODE rather than attribute in the WDA for setting the data to the CONTEXT NODE (SFLIGHT_NODE)?

Drop down in dynamic table in the Adobe Interactive Form (Web dynpro ABAP)

Hi All,
I have scenario use drop down in dynamic table in the adobe interactive form (Using the button the dynamic table row will be increasing and decreasing).
Assume I Add five rows dynamically in the dynamic table. The Last column contains Drop down.
I have button in the adobe form.
Button Name = u201CSAVEu201D
Button type    = SAP Submit button (Native type u2013 I am Using ZCI).
While clicking save button, I need to store the dynamic table datau2019s to back end system. I can able to store the data to back end system. After form data getting saved those particular values need to display in the adobe form.
Here I am facing a problem.
I cannot able to view as a default value in the drop down, which I have selected some values after save operation I am not getting any values in the drop down as a default.
Example:
The dynamic table contains 5 rows (Each and every row Drop down contains one to ten values).
1)     I have selected second value in the Drop down (ROW1)
2)     I have selected fourth value in the Drop down (ROW2)
3)     I have selected fifth value in the Drop down (ROW3)
4)     I have selected seventh value in the Drop down (ROW4)
5)     I have selected third value in the Drop down (ROW5)
I press the save button that particular Drop down value gets saved in back end system and that particular values want display in the Drop down as a default value.
How to resolve this problem.

I have created the New node for dropdown. also i have one node already for table.
The new node i bind to dropdown, the table same for table.

Steps (1) ~ (6), I have completed, but I don't know how to implement the step (7).
Please give me some hint on this. I try to use the CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICE, but I didn't found any examples. Do you give me some ways to implement the function? Thanks a lot.

Hello Wang,
You need to transfer some additional information in an unused data field. Then, by using scripting within the form template, you can hide the input fields in question.

Do you tell me how to hide elements in the "adobe_form" in the WDP ABAP? How can I get the elements attributes in the "adobe_form" from the method WDDOMODIFY of the second_view in the WDP ABAP.

Save the Adobe Interactive Form as Readonly Form

I have Adobe form displayed in Portal Iview(HCm Process and Form),Now i have few queries.
How can we enable save and print button for the user in the interacive form.
For Save button instead of saving as editable form will it be possible to save as read only kindly guide me in do this.

Hi,
Currently in my ivew i have a option of review where the fields are readonly.
When i Press F8 i could see the Toolbar to save and print,When i save it it is still saved as editable form.
More over i want to know through adobe script how can we enable the tool bar.
This is required because based on the Role of the user,i want to enable the tool bar.
Additionally,through script is it possible to set the tool bar with few buttons instead of all.

When a manager fills in an Adobe Form in MSS and clicks on the 'Save Draft' button, the form will appear in the Worklist. How do I find out what iView is called when the link on the draft is clicked when the manager goes to it later?

New forum area for Adobe Interactive forms

Would it be possible to create a separate thread for the adobe interactive forms? Most of the conversations are under the webdynpro forum, but because people refer to this area by so many different names (adobe, ADS, interactive forms) it is really difficult to do a search for anything specific. (also, you cannot distingquish a post between ABAP interactive forms and Webdynpro interactive forms until you are deep into the message).
I think enough folks are starting to use interactive forms that we can get some good topics going!
Also note: the adobe homepage on SDN needs more visibility. It is buried under too many links. I had to email Matthias Zeller to get the url. I lost patience after about 20 minutes of searching.

A last thought/comment:
I just went to the WAS homepage. The link is under FEATURED CONTENT under the black/bold heading Interactive Forms.
I would not equate the adobe home page as "featured content". Now that I have been told, I can find it, but I spent 20 minutes using the forum search to find it and the results were mostly to the help.sap.com links. Maybe a title change under quick links might make it more intuitive.

1st view contains an ADobe from and a button to navigate to the 2nd view..
No problem with the first view.. displays everything...
The Problem is when i click the button to nsvigate to the 2nd view, its not loading...

Need to Insert the web dynpro script to the form.
Note: Make sure to upgrade the Adobe Interactive for ZCI type using SFP_ZCI_UPDATE transaction
Subsequently, check whether the update of the ZCI was successfully completed. To do this, open your form in the Adobe LiveCycleDesigner and check the version information of the ZCI script. The ZCI script is available on the "Hierarchy" tab page under the "ContainerFoundation_JS" name. The version must be800.20080513120641.469612.469346.

Visual Admin service not present for Adobe Interactive forms

Hi EP experts,
i want to use Adobe Document for creating Adobe Interactive forms in webdynpro java.
but initially i want to activate Adobe Document Service from Visual Admin..
For this ,Under Cluster tab of visual admin, i want to select Document Services Configuration to assign the credential under com.adobe~TrustManagerService.
But in visual admin of EP 6.0 SP19 there is no Document Services Configuration under services of cluster tab...
To enable this ,is there any need of any patch-up to be installed for Adobe Document Service.?
How should i confirm if alreadt respective Adobe Document Service or patch is Installed on EP server 6.0 SP19.

To Check whether it is installed or not go to Netweaver administration -- configuration --services -- adobe doc service - click on this link ,proper message will be display about its availability.

Requriements for Adobe interactive forms on client

Dear Adobe experts,
What kind of requriements / software should where be installed on the end-users PC to get the Adobe interactive forms to work proberly. We wound like to use it together with web dynpro for ABAP as well.
Are there any diffrences if the form aint is interactive(less requriements?)
Currently my client has Adobe 6.0.1 03-11-2003 installed on there PCs - is this a problem?
Any answer will be great!

SAP recommends to install the latest version of Adobe Reader, i.e. 7.0.8.
The ACF is required if you intend to run scenarios using interactive forms (not only for print) in a Web Dynpro online application. The ACF enables communication between Web Dynpro and Reader.
SAP will ship a non-ActiveX integration using HTTP with NW 2004s. Final test are being run at the moment. Shipment is currently planned for SPS 10. (Note that this can change.)

Authorizations for Adobe Interactive forms

During Adobe configuration I encounter serious trouble in determining the needed authorizations. We implement basic Adobe forms initiated by managers.
Can anyone please instruct which SAP ECC roles are needed for executing Adobe Interactive forms?
Situation
We assigned the Adobe roles:
SAP_BC_CM_USER
SAP_ASR_MANAGER
The manager has also assigned authorizations to view PA objects for subordintes.
With extended authorizations I can start new process. However, when the process is started with same user but with the authorization mentioned above I receive the following error:

Hi Tom,
When you are familiar with authorizations in PFCG trabsaction you are finaliar with S_DEVELOP if not ask the authorization team on your project.
Basically this authorization object handles the read/write etc authorization related to devlopment objects. If you implement Adobe forms you will probably develop your own forms or at least copy the SAP forms to customer namespace.
For Adobe you will therefore have 2 custom development objects (1 for the form and 1 for the interface that is automatically generated). The end-user shoulf have at least READ access to these objects. If not the portal will trow an error on this.
To determine the tech names of the objects find the form and related interface in transaction SFP. These should be inserted in the object S_DEVELOP in the role for the end users.
You may want to consider to put the value Z* in the object which will give authorization for all the custom developed objects.
If you can't find the object reply again and i will send a screenshot.
Finally, make use of the splended transaction ST01!! It will make your life a lot more easy in portal! It traces all the authorizations needed and missing for any user you specify. After activating the trace and running a portal scenario the log will tell you want went OK and what not on an authorization object level.
