Require Planned order + Purchase Req. through MRP

Hello Sirs,
I have a requirement for following scenario......
I have a FERT which has 2 Components, 1 HALB + 1 ROH (Purchasing Item)
When i run MRP (MD02) for FERT, i want Planned Order for HALB + Purchase Requisition for ROH.
As at present when i run MD02 it gives me Planned Order for FERT, but nothing for the ROH.
Is it possible to get Pl. Or + PR !? If yes, please guide me with the required settings.
Thanks in advance,
Harris Panchal

Hi Harris,
Yes it is possible.
Now if you are running MRP through MD02 then most imp Prerequisite is all the materials which includes both Header material and Component should contain MRP type PD,P1,P2 and not M0,M1,M2.
Also check below parameters also.
- In MRP 4 view of Header Material (FERT and Halb both) MRP for Dependent Requirements should be maintain as Materials for dependent requirements are planned (Blank)
- Check BOM valid From to TO date and also From to To Lot size of Fert code.
- If you are using Production version then check above parameters (checks no. 2) for production version also.

  • Converting SNP Planned Order /Purch Req to Prod.Order/Purch.Order

    Guys
What is the standard process to Convert the SNP Planned Order /Purch Req. into a Prod.Order/Purch.Order ?
Can the conversion indicator be set in APO for SNP Planned Order /Purch Req.and then transferred to R3 as Prod.Order/Purch.Order  or can the convesrion of Planned Order /Purch Req to Prod.Order/Purch.Order  can be done in R3 itself ?
I am not clear on how exactly this works. Would appreicate if you could provide me with the standard process and any config involved in the same such as Number Ranges and how to set the conversion indicator automatically through SNP planning runs ?
    Thanks

When you set this indicator for a planned order or a purchase
requisition, the system automatically converts the order into a
Production order or purchase order after the transfer to the
    connected SAP R/3 system.
The converted orders are then retransferred to the SAP APO system with a
different category; a purchase requisition with category BS-ANF becomes
a purchase order delivery schedule line with category BS-EIN.
Please check configuration setting in SPro for transfer setting to R/3.
    1. Configure Transfer to OLTP Systems(SNP)
    2.Maintain Global Parameters and Defaults(PPDS)
Also on R/3 side you can see it in MD04/MD07 collectively for a product . or individually on
    MD13 : planned order

  • SAP PP-delete Production orders, planned orders, purchase requitions & othe

How to delete Production orders, planned orders, purchase requitions & other orders .
Pls send me the T-codes or Paths.
Any comments welcome   & Thanks in advance.

    Dear,
    1) Delete Production Order,
    Please refer this link,
    [DeleteProduction Orders |http://www.sap-img.com/production/how-to-delete-old-production-orders.htm]
    2) Delete Planned Order,
MD16 is the only option to delete planned orders in mass.
During MRP run if you choose - Delete and recreate plan order mode. Automatically the unwanted plan orders
    2) Delete Purchase Requisation,
Execute MD04, in that it will display the created PR's
Check in tcode MD62 whether you have any demand for that material which you are getting PRs first delete requirement here/
Then run MRP by tcode MD03 or MD02 giving input of material and plant. In the initial screen of MD03 / MD02, make field planning mode - Delete and recreate planning data
    Is that Old PR Firmed.
If yes remove the Firm indicator and Re run the MRP with planning Mode 3.
It removes the PR from EBAN.
    Now check in MD04
    OR,
Use Mass change transaction code MEMASSRQ or use BAPI (BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE) to do the same.
    Or
Use ME57 with layout ALV, in this also u can delete PR
If you want delete PR manually then
goto ME52N --> enter PR number --> select line item --> click delete button
    or
goto ME52N --> enter PR number --> Item --> Tab Quanties/Dates --> set tick mark for closed check box
    Please check this thread,
    Deletion of SubReq
    Hope it will help you.

  • After firming planned order, new planned order is generating in MRP run

    Hi Experts,
I am using SAP AFS. Planning strategy is 21- MTO with Project settlement. MRP type is PD. Lte size is EX. Procurement type is X.
We are using the production versions. Individual / collective reqmts is 1. Planning time fence is not maintained.
In sap AFS T.Code for MRP run is /n/afs/md02. After receiving the Sales order, MD04 screen gets updated accordingly and I am running the MRP.Planned orders are generated accordingly. I am firming the planned order manually through MD04. The satr mark is also appearing.
My problem starts now. If I am running  the MRP again for the same requirements another planned order of the same qty. is getting generated. That means after the second MRP run, I am having two planned orders (one firmed plnd order) and second is the new planned order. My requirement is that MRP should not generate any new Plnd. order / PR's if there is no new Sales order.
The parameters for MRP run are "1" for "Create PR's", '1" for "Plng Mode" and '"1" for "scheduling ".
I have tried in all the possible ways, but of no use. Still new plnd order is generated after firming the 1st plnd. order in MRP run.

    Thanks all for your feedback..

    1. Yes, Both Old firmed planned order and newly generated planned order have the same grid value
    2. For both the planned orders :
Special Stock is E u2013 Orders on hand,
    Consumption is V,
Sales order is the same (As we are using MTO , Strategy 21) and same WBS element.

    @ Nikhil
    1. Quantity of sales order is not reducing after firming the sales order
    2. Account assignment category for both the planned orders is u201CZu201D - Indiv.cust./project
I have made some more observations and found the following differences between the two planned orders
From  MD04 , keep the cursor on corresponding planned order
& click on upward arrow ( available on bottom side of the report).
It will show what will be the originating requirements i e. for which requirements this planned order generated.

  • Repeated purchase req. in MRP run procudure

    Dear SAP experts,
Here at my client site, i have one scenario of mrp run of consumables. They maintain safety stock in material master MRP view,
I am using MRP type PD.Now after MRP run, system creates purchase requisition as per safety stock qty,( consider initial stock
is zero) now when i convert Purchase requisition into purchase order. i refresh the MD04 list, as soon as i refresh i get the
purchase req. converted into PO item.Upto this point its ok. but during this refresh function i get repeated purchase requisition
of the same quantity as previous one..Why this is happening? any specific reason behind this? my logic is not getting clear.
please assist me to find exact reason..
    Thanx in advance..
    Regards,
    Ravi

    HI
If the initial stock is zero then system will generate the PR for the safety stock also and then for the Dependent requirement.
    Check and revert

  • Purchase Reqs in MRP

    Thank you for your help

Reports starting with a Z are not SAP  standard, they are created in-house.
If you would use standard transaction such as MD04 to review this kind of situation, then you could get the pegged requirement for each requisition.
Means your PRs are created for different requirements.  that you get individual requirements instead of collective  is based on settings in material master and customizing .

  • Planned order & Purchase Requisition

I want SAP to create Pur Req not planned orders. Is that the release strategy issue?
    1) Planned order
    2) Purchase Requisition
    3) Purchase order
Can I setup SAP to by pass planned order and go straight to pur recs for purchase parts ?

    Hi Analucia,
Yes. Planned orders are optional. Whether MRP run creates planned orders for purchased items, or directly purchase requisition is controlled by the parameters of the planning run.
For example, if you run it online, go to MD01, and you'll see that you have a parameter called "create purchase req.", via which this is controlled.
If it not behaving the way you want using when setting this parameter, check also the same parameter in the definition of the MRP group.

  • Third-party Order - purchase req's to SRM

    Hi
    We are using EBP 4.0
We are creating sales orders with item cat "Third Party Item", the purchase req's are created in R/3 but we have problems when we transfer the purch req's to SRM via BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER.
There is an errormessage in SMQ1   "<i>Partner not Found</i>". I have also checked SLG1 in SRM but there is no additonal info there.
I think the problem is related to the Customer (ship to), it looks like the Businnes Partner has to be created for that customer but I don't really understand how it works.
    Any tip ?
    Thx
    Anders
PS we can transfer normal purchase req's created by MRP to SRM without problem.

    Hi Andres,
I think this scenario is not supported by SRM. These requisitions will have eban-estkz = 'V' and  there is a check iin the plugin routines which exclude these requisitions from going to SRM. It will be a modification to make this go through SRM and will not be supported.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Increase quantity of Planned Orders upon creation by MRP

    Hello gurus.
We want to add a certain percentage to the quantity in Planned Orders when they are created by MRP. So that we can have a "cushion" for whatever waste we may have in Production.
We explored the "Assembly Scrap" field in the Material Master, but the problem is that this is added to the costing of the product. And we don't want to alter the standard price of the material.
What we are looking for is way that when MRP runs, and it creates Planned Orders for Production, it can automatically add certain percent (that we can maintain in a custom table).
They want this on the Planned Order so that this also drives component procurement.
Is there a way to this standard? Or perhaps a User Exit I could use so this is included when MRP creates these planned orders?

    Fernando,
You are assuming that you need 'a little bit extra' for every planned order.  Most people think that this approach is unnecessary and leads to creation of non-productive stock/wip.
Assume one part number, with 10 weekly requirements, each for 100 pc, lot for lot, Make to stock, and you decide to implement a method that increases all of these planned orders by 10%.  In your model, you will create 10 planned orders for 110 pcs each, or 1100 pcs; against your 10 requirements of 100pc (1000pc requirements total).
I don't know how variable your production yields are, but let's assume normal (six-sigma) variation is between 90% and 110% of the target quantity (which is why you have inflated the output by 10%).  Let's also assume normal distribution; that half of your execution orders will output bwtween 90% and 100%, and half will output between 100% and 110%.  To cover the absolute shortages for each individual requirement, you don't really need 100 extra pieces in stock, you only need 10 extra piece in stock (and, of course, you must have planned this similarly in all of the dependent materials).  Once the 10 'extra' pieces are in the planning supply chain, you will have covered all of your 'normal' shortages.
In essence, you don't need to increase EACH order by 10%, you only need to cover some multiple of the standard deviation of the yield ONE TIME.  This is the concept of safety stock.  SAP, as you note, allows you to increase supply over demand by a fixed quantity (static safety stock), allows you to actively calculate the quantity of safety stock by using a moving time-based formula (so-called 'dynamic safety stock'), and also allows you to alter the supply so that it comes in earlier than you need it (safety lead time).  These techniques are pretty much standard on any ERP system, not just SAP.  They exist because people have tried lots of other methods to increase service level, and these standard methods work best, which means they give a known way to optimize the balance between cost and service.  In addition, when you use these methods, you don't have to worry about the fact that SAP will not support your 'special' programs, both for today and also into the future when you do system upgrades.
I WILL say that if the cost of the planned material is low, and the costs of the lower level materials are also low, and the service level required is high, then your non-standard method offers one advantage, that it is relatively easy for the users to understand.  Just realize that you will be creating some stock down through your supply chain that will not add to your service level.  In many companies, this is a good way for a planning manager to lose his job.
Finally, regarding your proposal for a batch job that will inflate the qtys of the planned orders.  If you are going to write a program that will do this, you can also write it to 'unfirm' the orders prior to saving.  You should also not forget to consider your lot sizing techniques, should you decide to take this path.

  • Purchase requisition through MRP

    Dear All,
When we create requisitions from MRP, it shows the requisition is created by the description of the MRP controller and not the user ID, as would normally be expected in manually created requisitions (Tab-Item Level-Contact Person). The question is u2013 for MRP created reqs, is there a way to influence this and have those reqs show the user ID as well, just as the normal manually created requisitions? Right now description of MRP controller is displayed for Purchase requision created through MRP
    Your reply would be appreciated!!!!
    Thanks!!!!!
    Warm Regards!
    Sneha

    Hi Sneha,
As such when we trigger the MRP the purchase requsition created  will showing as status created by as per the MRP controller that you mentioned in MMR..
But i don't thing that such config is there were we can get the user specific  status while triggering MRP .

Please help me to solve this
    Thanks

    Hi Hoai Vu,
Please check in OPPQ plant parameters in SPRO weather you maintained for the plant conversions of planned order to production order.
SPRO-> Production> material requirement planning> plant parameters--> carry out plant parameters or over all maintenance of plant parameters (OPPQ)
Then check the for the material did you maintained the work scheduling view or not.
I hope helps you any queries please revert me back.

  • Sales Order -- Purchase Req -- Purchase Order ..... Sales Document flow??

    Hi Guys,
We have a process where we proccure few parts externally. When a sales order is created in our system based on the item category config we are able to create a purchase requition automatically. This Preq is further used to create a PO based on which the purchasing group proccures the part from the vendor.
We are trying to identify if there is a way to find out a way if we can relate the PO number created in the sales document flow? Currently we are not able to view the PO number in the sales document flow. We are trying to identify if this is possible and if yes what needs to ne configuered to enable PO number linking in sales document flow?
    Any pointers?
    Cheers
    VJ

    Hi Bikash,
The PO field which u r referring to on the VA01 screen is the PO number against which a SO is created. This PO number is the customers PO number. My requirement is i need to store the Intercompany PO number which is the PO number created to procure the part externally from the vendor. So its the vendor PO number and not the customer PO number.
Secondly if i try to misuse any other field to store this PO number it dosent make sense as it would not show up in the document flow screen so it would be of no use to us. We want to enable it the std way and i am sure SAP has provided some way to do it.
I check the OSS notes and found some interesting tips working on that hopefully should be able to resolve it.
    Cheers

  • Firming of planned orders

Is it possible to firm  planned orders automatically  after Mrp run.
Does MRP give Trigger to firm planned orders.
I dont want to firm Planned orders when I do MRP first time.

    Hello ,
1.It is possible to firm procurement proposal like planned order , purchase reqs to be firmed automatically and also re-schedule them with in planning time fence if you use the Firming type 1 or 2 in your Check MRP Type configuration in SPRO .Basically you need to choose the following MRP type
1.Automatic Firming and order proposal rescheduled out : P1 with Firming Type : 1
2.Automatic Firming with out Order Proposal : P2 with Firming Type : 2
At the same time you have to maintain the Planning time Fence at MRP1 view along with this MRP Type P1 or P2.
If you do not want Firmed planned orders during frist time MRP run , Use MRP Type : P0 with Firming Type : 0
Hope this will solve your problem

  • Planned order created after mrp run instead of purchase req

    Hi All,
I am facing a strange problem about planned order being created after mrp run jobs runs in background instead of purchase req. This is happening randomly. In the material master MRP view 2 procurement type is F and in the varient for the MRP job the in Purchase requisition control parmater 1 is marked that is purchase requisition. Also planning file is having the entry once there is shortage and hence MRP run is there always if there is shortage of material.
