I have been using my Apple ID in India and recently i moved to Spain and now i can not see my indian apps.it says my apple ID is valid for only spanish store.how to download apps from Indian store being in Spain.
Did you try to change the location in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?

How can you not resolve a problem so essentail related to swapping thunderbolt devices when running bootcamp? Everytime I diconnect a thunderbolt device, I have to restart in bootcamp for the mackbook pro to recognize it. Considering that I apid ~$3K for this laptop when I could have got a dell for half the price, it such a poor technology. How can apple developers be so dump that they didn't design a drive to resolve the issue... and to make it even more dumber, they acknowledge it ... hello any one with brains after steve jobbs passed away there!!!
I don't have a Thunderbolt machine but according to this article, Windows doesn't support Thunderbolt at all. That means Apple had to add Thunderbolt support in order for it to work even as it does. How would a Dell have solved your problem?

I've reinstalled iTunes, yet it still displays this message. Help?Doublecheck to see if there are any leftover QuickTime program files and/or folders on the PC.
On a 64-bit system open the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\
If you see a QuickTime folder in there, delete it.
Now open the following directory:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
If you see a QuickTime file and or a QuickTimeVR file, delete those two files.
If Windows won't let you delete either folder or files, let us know what the error message says.
If those files and/or folders were present, and you successfully deleted them, try another iTunes install. Does it go through any better this time? -
Hi, I am working in saudi arabia and willing to buy an iphone 5. But next year I will shift to India permanently. So my query is whether I would purchase apple applications from India or not once I left the purchased country of origin?
Also here though face time is banned by law, one of the biggest authorized dealer (Jarir bookstore) of apple products sells unloced iphone/ipad versions with face time enabled. So shall I use this function out side of saudi arabia, i.e. in India?Wait and purchase the whole phone from India if you are going to be permanently based there. There are no usage restrictions in the same way that there are in Saudi.

Does MBA's Lion Recovery require Apple ID when re-installing OS?
If you bought Lion via Mac App Store, and you want to re-install it using Lion Recovery mode, IT DOES require Apple ID to certificate your purchase history. This is the case when you bought Lion separated from your Mac.
However, I'm just curious the case of purchasing Mac with Lion installed by default, just like MacBook Air-2011.
When you want to re-install Lion on your MacBook Air, which came with Lion, using Lion Recovery mode, does it require you to enter your Apple ID to download install files from a server?
I heard, in terms of iLife, when you buy a new Mac now, it asks you your Apple ID on the first start-up and it registers iLife-iMovie,iPhoto,Garageband- to your Mac App Store account's "Purchase History" so you can re-install iLife whenever you want from MAS.
If, Lion goes for the same with the case of iLife, how can I sell my MacBook Air to another person? There's no way I let the buyer use my Apple ID.
iLife-less MacBook Air will do the job but without OS? I can't sell it to another person because OS is a fundamental.
Any experience? Oh, btw, I haven'y bough any Mac with Lion installed by default, which is the reason I'm curious how things work.Could you tell me more about "one time transfer?" Brand new iPhone 4 (unlocked), got it activated yesterday, and speakers doesn't work, did restore back to factory settings, not luck, any suggestions. This iPhone was purchased in US, currently in India, will Apple support in India?
There are many threads on this forum regarding speaker not working issues. You might try searching them. Hopefully you'll find the answer you need.
BTW, the iPhone only has ONE speaker. -

I'm new in this community but not so new to Apple computers. My first Apple was a SE, somewhere around 1987. (I still have it by the way)
I don't know if this is the right place to complain and if Apple people follow these conversations but I need to get this off my chest:

With every upgrade we get more 'automated' features and less openness in our own Mac's. This morning I helped a colleague with her brand new MacBook Pro and realized that the finder window did not show her as user and her Library was not visible. I seems you need to ‘fool’ the search feature to get into a user library. That is sick and quite unnecessary.
Why on earth do developers make the system more like a Nintendo game with every update? And, how can we stop this?
Cheers, JorisIt's likely because lots of users would delete things in the "Library" folder because they didn't know what they were; leading to system instability and/or excessive support calls.
Most users do not need to access the ~/Library folder.
If you want to access it, just enter this in Terminal:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
You'll need to run it again each time you do a system update.
As far as "less openness," there's no less openness in OS X today than there was in OS X 10.0.
