Every cess/tax will require one GL account against it.
So in your case 3+3 different GL accounts for sales & purchases.

Hi,
for account determination system treats Services same as materials, end of the day it is the reciept posted using mvt 101 only,
If you need to dsitinguish your G/L accounts for materials and service then assign a seperate valuation class to your service master and setup diff G/L accounts for your valuation class

Different GR/IR account for service entry and GRN for non-valuated material

Hi,
Our requirement is GR/IR account while doing service entry and GR/IR account while doing GRN for non-valuated material (UNBW) should be different.
Though we maintain valuation class for material group (Transaction OMQW), system is picking only the valuation class maintained for blank entry in transaction WRX under OBYC setting. The system is ignoring the respective valuation class G/L account. Also if we maintain valuation class for service masters, then also while doing service entry sheet system is picking only the valuation class maintained for blank entry in transaction WRX under OBYC setting
Had i missed out any other setting. Pls help.

In OBYC, please maintain a GL for valuation class 3200 for services and a GL for val class 3300 for Non-valuated material in WRX.

DOES WORKFLOW 2.6 REQUIRE ORACLE ACCOUNTS FOR USERS?

We would like to integrate Oracle Workflow with our existing implementation of Oracle Portal. I was hoping that, by using OID accounts and groups, that SSO could be used to access whatever workflow functionality was required by our users WITHOUT also creating an Oracle account for each of these users.
IS THIS FEASIBLE?

There might be some configuration required, but this should work. Workflow only requires the Oracle HTTP Server + ModPLSQL to render screens.
The Oracle Plug In for Microsoft IIS is available for Windows NT and Windows 2000.
To quote the Configuration Guide:
Oracle Plug-in for Microsoft IIS enables you to use Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), the Web server included with Windows NT, to directly access PL/SQL and Java Web components stored in the Oracle database server. This plug-in provides a fast and integrated method of accessing PL/SQL and Java Web components running in the IIS environment. Oracle Plug-in for Microsoft IIS provides functionality similar to Apache's PL/SQL Gateway (mod_plsql) and Apache's mod_ose in the IIS environment.

Intel AppUp store requires PayPal account for FREE applications

We've submitted our new application for approval on Wednesday but in attempting to include a request to have it listed on the Intel AppUp store, I find that we are required to have a PayPal account. Our corporation does not have one and I'm unclear why this would be needed for a FREE application.
Please help.

This is a bug in our system and would be fixed. You should submit your free app with a dummy paypal ID and it should work.

Problem with G/L account screen field in PR for Services?

Hi all,
While creating PR, I am facing an issue with the screen field G/L account for services i.e item category 'D' .
Once service number is entered in the screen, a pop-up window is triggering to enter the G/L account.
once the G/L account is entered and click continue, unable to change this G/L account again because the
field is greyed out(in Account asisgnment Tab)?
Is it the standard SAP behaviour? Are there any settings to change the field in to input enabled?

Hi Aravind,
To edit the G/L Account in the Service PO, first select the "Service" tab at Item detail screen, select your Service line in the Item detail, and then press " Account Assignment" icon which is available below the Item details screen ( In Service" tab). There you can edit the G/l account field.

Urgent.... Multiple OBYC settings for Service WRX

Dear Experts,
My client wants to have two separate GR/IR accounts for service procurement. one general a/c and another for transportation. But in OBYC setting we can only give the a single default G/L for service. We can differentiate by valuation class in case of material but no such thing is available for service.. So how to differentiate that. Please help me plz plz.

Hi,
If you will create Service master in AC01 then you can assign valuation class there also.
And then do account determination for WRX in OBYC as per the valuation class as you do for maerials

Default GL for Services

Dear SAPians,
I have a scenario from the client, they want to default the GL account for services while creating the PR. I have assigned a GL to val class 3200 in GBB VBR. I have also assigned GL to the service group in transaction OMQW.
Am i missing something?

The answer is Yes, as its coming by default on my system. Read the last message in the link, instead of material master you can input it in service master.
I've managed to solve the problem.
I've created a new valution class and assigned the GL Account to the valution class. Thereafter, I assigned the valuation class to the material group and set the valuation class in each of the material code in material master.
Now the GL Account will be defaulted during PR creation.

Service entry sheet (Confirmation for service) creation by supplier

Service procurement MM-SUS.
For processing service orders(no hirarcies, only one service line)
I Have transfered the service Purchase order from ECC
to SUS(SRM7.0).i am able to see the purchase order
and POR created and transfered to ECC. Further confirmations
for Creating SES in ECC,how?
i have tried with create confirmations in start page of SUS.
but service POs are not available.what are the settings required in SUS (for service confirmation) to create SES in ECC.

we are not using EHP4. our ERP system is ECC6.0 only. I know EHP4 is required at ECC side. But in this stage
we are going with ECC6.0.with Custom developments. I think modifications are required in the Interfaces and at ECC side.
as SRM is already upgraded to SRM7.0.I think no custom developments needed at SRM side.only the service orders requests
from ECC to PI and PI to SRM needs to be modified?
scenario name : ECC triggers Idoc to PI and PI generarate XML to SUS (Orders02 to Purchase order request).
i have checked the Idoc and all fields required for creating service order in SUS is available.is any other fields/check box required in Purchase order Idoc. so that we can map.
in service purchase order Item detail screen(service lines) is not displaying in SUS side and also confirmation(SES creation).

The workflow manager configuration wizard crashes with the below error when used a domain account (setup account with full prvilige on sql and server). It requires some specific permissions on AD ? I couldnt see any documentation stating what permission

BAPI_PO_CREATE1-No account assignment exists for service line 0000000000

Hi guys
I'm trying to use the above BAPI to create purchase orders from legacy system. I have populated ALL of the required tables (including the Xs) but I was returned the above error: No account assignment exists for service line 0000000000.
I have populated fields in the POLIMITS structure
POLIMITS-PCKG_NO
POLIMITS-LIMIT
POLIMITS-EXP_VALUE.
Any solutions?

Ability to modify Account Assignment Category for Service Item Categories

Dear experts,
Our customer has a requirement to modify the account assignment category when the item category is set to "D" services on a PR and PO line item. This scenario is specific to indirect procurement scenarios in SAP ECC 6.0 MM.
End users may potentially create a PR against a service item category with an incorrect account assignment category. These PRs are created using free form text. No service master exists in these scenarios. During the approval process or during PO creation, an approver or the buyer may need to correct the account assignment category. The account assignment category is "display" only and cannot be modified when the item category is set to "D". The user must delete the line item and create a new line item with the correct account assignment category. The copy function cannot be used because the account assignment copies from the existing line and cannot be modified.
Any recommendations to this issue using standard SAP configuration solutions?

Item Category to Account Assignment Category combination is already configured. For Service Item Category, we have three account assignment categories configured. All three categories are valid in different scenarios. Sometimes the user selects the incorrect account assignment category (out of the three available) depending on the business scenario. PT9F configuration is already set to Account Assignment category "optional". However, the account assignment category still cannot be modified on the PR when the item category is "D" service.
Any other recommendations?

I am using classic scenario.The Shopping cart (SRM5.0)creates Purchase Requisition in the backend ECC5.0.Things work fine for Describe Requirement Product Type=01(Goods).But for Product Type = 02(Service) getting the error "SE 518 No account assignment exists for service li ne 0000000000" while transferring to Backend.
Limit Shopping cart works fine ...Creates Purchase Requisition with Item category"D" in the backend.
Any Suggessions Please?

Yes ,i did open a Message .SAP came back with note # 966323.We had already applied this .Don't work.
By the way what was the resolution for this issue in 4.7 please?
Point here is that this used to work in Development Systems but not in Quality Systems. That surprises me.

Hello all,
We have raised a Shopping cart for a service with reference to a contract with the account assignments item category "D" and account assignment category "P". the product type is 02 for the service. The shopping cart saves fine however when trying to transfer to create the PO in the backend we are getting the error "SE 518 No account assignment exists for service li ne 0000000000"
we have checked all the notes below:
1064139 already implemented.
1222877 already implemented.
767284 failed to correct the error.
1140132 should be in our system but has been removed by note 1226132. I have checked all the other notes but they do not seem relevant in our scenario. Does anybody have any idea as to how we should solve this problem?
