Required Information on REM (Real estate mgt ); IM ( Investment Mgt ); FM.

Hi,
Currently We are implementing one Telecome project and modules are FICO, MM,SD, PS,REM,IM&FM with ECC 6.0
without new G/L concept.
If anyone knows the configurations settings on FICO with PS,REM,IM,&FM please send me those settings, and also please refer me the concerned books.

    No, there is no impact.

    In forthcoming we are planing to bring IS Retail Real Estate also in the same system.. In this scenario i have some doubts Please help me to get it clarify.

    I have check the same i.e. in ECC. All the necessary changes explained in the notes have already been done in the release we are using.  And I meant that the notes are not relevant for the problem I am facing now.

    Real Estate Management module is more robust in managing Real Estate properties for activities and processes like leasing, property maintenance like manging repairs etc (when attached to Plant Maintenance module). You can also use it for Lease in's. (caution: please associate 'renting' wherever lease is mentioned, not to get confused with lease of machinery or financia lease etc.)
    The <b>main</b> master data in RE are like  Business Entity,Property,  Buildings, Rental Units and Leaseout. These are called RE-Objects and they are also <b>Controlling objects.</b> For example let's take Spenzer Plaza in Chennai and you are the owner. The whole Spencer Plaza will be a <b>Business Entity</b>. The land in there will be created as a <b>Property</b> and the building structure as <b>Building</b>. The several floors or the individual rentable portions will be created as <b>Rental Units</b>. When 'Planet M' approaches you to rent one of the floors, you create a <b>Lease out</b> with reference to one of the Rental Unit.
    The system automatically creates a schecule of periodic rentals called cash flow and it has the capabilities to debit the customer Planet M account with the rent due. etc.
    You can also maintain information to land through Land Register.

    These are not used for Homebuilding.

    You need to have FI and CO before you can use REM.
    <b>4) From which version they are available. can we still use classic RE.</b>
    4.5B onwards RE was introduced as a Inudstry specific module under FI. It became as a part of FI  from 4.6B December 1999. The RE-FX cameinto effect from Enterprise version.
    You can continue to use RE Classic even in later releases. But once you activate the RE-FX you can no longer user Classic. There is a switch to start using RE-FX.
    <b>1) The difference between Classic RE and RE-FX.</b>
    There were some restriction in classic RE that you must have an RE Objects before you can create a contract. In RE-FX these have been removed. For more information on RE-FX you can read the release notes available on SAP's help portal.

  • Help on scenario in Real estate/Construction industry with PS,SD,MM modules

    Dear Gurus,
    Iam into implementation of a Real estate/Construction company (FI/CO,SDMM<PS modules). But we are NOT using SAP RE-FX or Homebuilding solutions (HBS).
    My Client's business scenario goes like this.
    There are two broad divisions:
    Residential properties:
    They are going to build 840 flats (divided into 14 blocks with 15 floors in each block) with amenities like club house, parking facilities etc. The flats will be sold to customers.
    Commercial Properties:
    Commercial building is divided into 60000sqft for hotel construction and 40000 sqft for retail space which includes 2 small theatres.
    The commercial complex will be retained by the client.
    Three types of residential properties will be built
    1. 4 blocks of 2 bedroom flats
    2. 5 blocks of 3 bedroom flats with 2 toilets attached which will be termed as 2+1.
    3. 5 blocks of 3 bedroom flats.
    When the customer is enquiring about the FLATS, i have to check the availability of the same.How to do this?
    Iam considering the flats as FINISHED GOODS, So How do I get those into the stock without doing intial entry using 561?( no PP module here)Is is possible to relate the stock through PS module?
    Please give your valuable ideas on this.

    From the requirement and design planned, your each flat will be different material. If this is so then whatever material is blocked or not for sale or closed or open you can define te material sales status accordingly. hence if the status is other than released then they will give error and that information will be useful.
    If u have lot of flats which are look alike and hence any allocation of flat to any customer is ok then product allocation cab work.
    Product allocation can work good when the material has characteritics of interchangeablitily and standardization.
    No flat can be same. Eventhough u have same sq ft area same the location according to vastu and east west direction etc criteria will be unique and hence using product allocation wil result into any one flat being allocated to customer which is not desirable.
    hence according to me you can have materials with different status and that will suit ur purpose.

    A realtor doesn't allow clients to search for homes - that's their job.
    The best thing to have on a site like this is a form that potential clients can fill in with all the details of their requirements.

  • Help needed to activate Flexible Real Estate in R/3 4.7

    Hi all gurus,
    Need your help..
    I am trying to configure SAP Flexible Real Estate Management in R/3 4.7. I had done all the following steps to configure:
           1.      Activate the Financials Extension (Application Indicator EA-FIN) in the SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set.
           2.      Activate the Real Estate Extension.
           3.      Activate the RE-FX component in the correct controlling area.
           4.      Make the basic settings for the company code and activate Financial Assets Management.
           5.      Make the basic settings for measurements.
    However, in SAP Easy Access, the following information msg appeared: "Transaction RE80 does not exist"
    Anyone encountered the same problem before?

    yes u may did all config settings required for activate RE-FX but still u unable to run re80 t.code.
    i think if u do in ecc6 it will happen.
    in 4.7 u dont have RE-FX, its only RE-classic.
    see sap note 443311 and 517673.

  • Status from init to modify in real estate

    hi masters,
    in tcode : RECN... when i create a real estate contract the status button will be on CREATE. So after create then i change anything or name of the contract to something else ex : sap... now when i save the STATUS should change automatically to MODIFED.  I found a badi which is BADI_RE_CN_CN in this badi i have so many methods... and i looked for the field STATUS
    but i could not find that field name in the badi... but when i put the break point it stops there.
    i have never worked on the badis... and it is my first badi... so can you any one help me as to how to approch where and how can i say in those classes  or where to work it out.

    For status there wil not be any field that is available. you need to use FMs to change status.
    What status are you talking about. Is it system status or User status?
    There are 2 function modules which needs to be used to change the status.

    www.domain.com.au is a real estate sales page. Most of the site loads but not the photos, just a word 'House' in its place. I tried same site on IE and it all loaded correctly.

    It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
    Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions<br />

    *Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
    *If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
