Required services for EP in Internet Transaction Service

Hi,
I've installed EP and I'm in the post-installation steps, configuring the Internet Transaction Service in transaction SCIF, but I couldn't find any documentation about required services. I would like to know which services need to be activated in order to run EP and NWDI.
Thanks,
Diego

Hi Narasimha,
Thanks a lot for your answers. It is really helpful. But lastly let me ask a question in SE80 we can create or modify HTML templates for the internet services. For these transactions for which i'm not getting through SE80, how can i change HTML layouts.
Correct me if my understanding is wrong. Points will be given obviously.
Thanks
Anirban

  • Does Yosemite require iCloud for a functional internet connection?

My family recently updated our Mac from OS X Mountain Lion to Yosemite. Ever since then, iCloud login request windows have popped up repeatedly, and our internet connection has slowed down very badly. We use a recent AirPort model for our network, and we never had any speed problems with it while using Mountain Lion. Do we need an Apple ID logged into iCloud to make our internet fast again? I personally own the Apple ID that our family uses to make iTunes purchases, but I don't want to use it for iCloud because I don't want my Messages and Photos synced to it. Is it just Yosemite in general? Or is it some other problem?

Some people have experienced wifi issues with Yosemite.  It has nothing to do with iCloud.  Try the troubleshooting suggestions here: http://osxdaily.com/2014/11/19/os-x-10-10-1-wi-fi-connection-issue-troubleshooti ng/.  If those don't help, try posting your question over in the OS X Yosemite forum.

  • Error while calling web service through Internet Transaction Service.

    Hi,
I am trying to execute transaction through web service. This service is attached to Internet Transaction Server (ITS). In Transaction SICF, in ITS when I test service, getting Error Message : New session rejected due to Memory bottleneck.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
you need to provide a better description of what you did (implementation) and what you want (use case). All I can see from your question is that you have a class cast issue.

    Thanks & Regards
    Kishore Kumar

You need to do also this:
    1. Activate Copying Control of Activities
CRM - Transactions - Settings for Activities - Activate Copying Control of Activities
This will cause that only transactions defined in your Business Transaction Profile are visible in dropdown list.
    and...
    2. Define Copying Control of Transaction Types
CRM - Transactions - Basic Settings - Copying Control of Transaction Types - Define Copying Control of Transaction Types
Here select Source Transaction and choose Target Transaction.
    Save and it's done.

  • How to use SquirrelMail and Require SSL for IMAP Service?

    Hello,
Mac OS X Server v.10.4.9 – Open Directory Master
Providing POP, IMAP, SMTP, web services including webmail via SquirrelMail.
    PHP v.4.4.4 Nov. 1, 2006
    OpenSSL v.0.9.7l Sept. 2006
I need to require SSL for IMAP access, however, I also need to provide webmail access. SquirrelMail does support TSL it seems and that can be configured from /etc/squirrelmail/config/conf.pl and is discussed briefly here: http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/SquirrelMailIMAPS .
When I turn on TSL on SquirrelMail and change the IMAP port number to 993 attempting to log into SquirrelMail provides the following error:
Bad request: IMAP server does not appear to support the authentication method selected. Please contact your system administrator.
According to the above noted page from the SquirrelMail site one needs PHP 4.3 and SSLv3 in order for TSL to work, one must also connect to the IMAP server over port 993. Requirements I appear to meet.
So – how can one require the use of SSL for IMAP and still provide webmail access via SquirrelMail?
I have reviewed these three threads:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=912841&tstart=75
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1457773&#1457773
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3921004&#3921004
However they do not answer the fundamental question of how to use SquirrelMail with SSL required by IMAP. Essentially the conversation revolves around working around the SSL requirement or forgoing it.
    Thank you for any assistance.

    David,
Yet from time to time these same users are in a
circumstance where they need to use webmail, thus
SquirrelMail needs to work. I am not trying to
    secure webmail by requiring SSL.
I see, your problem. In this particular case there is a workaround.
Use different ports for postfix and cyrus limited to localhost, thus catering only to SquirrelMail, thus not needing TLS.
Roughly do this (this is just off the top of my head, may contain errors):
    For SMTP / Postfix:
    Edit /etc/postfix/master.cf
    and add:
    465 inet n - n - - smtpd
    -o smtpdrecipientrestrictions= permit_mynetworks,reject
    -o mynetworks=127.0.0.1/32
    -o smtpdenforcetls=no
    # This will create a port 465 (if you use this alreay pick another one. choose the number wisely, depending ony what is in use on your server)
    # This port is only accessible to IP number in "mynetworks"
    For IMAP / Cyrus
Edit /etc/cyrus.conf and add (below imap):
    imaplocal cmd="imapd -C /etc/imapd-local.conf" listen="127.0.0.1:imap" prefork=0
Next duplicate /etc/imapd.conf and name it imapd-local.conf
    Edit /etc/imapd-local.conf
    Change
    tlsserveroptions: require
    to
    tlsserveroptions: use
    Next edit:
    /etc/services
and create a port called "imaplocal"
(you could probably recycle 585 wich is deprecated, check what is in the services file, make sure no duplicate port numbers).
    should look something like:
    imaplocal 585/udp
    imaplocal 585/tcp
When done with all config files:
    Save & restart mail services
Point SquirrelMail to the new ports wich should only be accessible to localhost (check with an external client if it holds
Sorry for the "draft style" post, but I don't have much time.
Just ask, if anything isn't clear.
    HTH,
    Alex

  • Cannot load required classes for service SLD Data supplier

    Hello Experts,
I am trying to use the SLD Data supplier service from visual administartor for registering my DEV EP 7.0 engine in central SLD.When am trying to access that particular service from visual admin,it is throwing an error saying that:"Cannot load required classes for SLD Data Supplier service and please refer the not for resolution Note No:1017526.
My NW EP 7.0 is at SP17 level and as per the above note all settings are fine and the relevant application is also started well.
Please suggest us for any possible solution.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Apparao S.

    > You can also try the following: Move sldserv.jar from
    > /usr/sap/<SID>/<InstID>/j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/services/sld/
    > to
    > /usr/sap/<SID>/<InstID>/j2ee/admin/lib/
    Hi Desiree,
    Thanks, worked for me too.
Only in my case, when I moved the file, the sld data provider service did not start at all after reboot of the instance.
Also, the sap.com/tcsldwd~main application refused to start.
I then copied the file back, this time maintaining an entry in both locations and reboot the instance. Everything started working after I reboot the instance. The error also disappeared and I was able to change the SLDuser password.
    Thanks

  • Required service agreement with new iPhone?

Can I get the new iPhone in the states and use it in Costa Rica?
I have been loyal and stuck with Apple even though the program costs were prohibitive. Since the iPhone came out I have wanted to get one but the cost was too high. I now live in Costa Rica and my family of four has a very low income. I was very excited to learn that the new iPhone 3G comes out just in time for our annual trip to the states. The price is finally affordable! Here's my problem, I keep hearing that the next model must be unlocked at the store and requires you to sign up for a cell service. I can't do this. The only cell service in Costa Rica is with the ICE monopoly. CR signed a free trade agreement with the US last October which should allow outside cell service providers to offer service here. In the mean time I will be in California with the opportunity to buy an iPhone 3G. I have searched the internet to see if the new iPhone will even work in Costa Rica and I can't find any information. iPhones are sold at the Apple stores here for three times the price in the US. I just up graded to the newest MacBook Pro.
If Apple is actually requiring customers to sign up with a cell service there it is totally unreasonable. I have been a Mac User since the very first Macs with the green screens came out. If I added up the money I have scraped together over the years to spend at Apple it would be a small fortune. A required service plan would be an injustice to the very people who have made the company a success, loyal consumers! If I am required to sign up for cell service I will just have the buy a simmalar phone from another company.

You have to sign up for AT&T service. The iphone would have to be hacked to work on another network. This would void the warranty, not allow you to update the iphone, may render it useless, and cannot be discussed on this forum - as per the terms of use of this forum.
Also, this is a users forum. we are iphone users not Apple.
You are not addressing Apple here.
You may send feedback to Apple at www.apple.com/feedback

  • SharePoint Development,Deployment,Staging Environment system requirements(Hardware,Software,Required services)

    Hi
       I want to know,
           1. System requirement for VM based Sharepoint 2013 development environment for minimum 3 user's
           2. SharePoint Topologies based on system architecture, system requirements
           3. General SharePoint Development environment with all required services
           4. SharePoint Deployment/Staging environment with all required services
Please help me to get the detailed informations on the above
    Regards,
    Siva

    Hi Siva_SREC,
My environment built for three developers is a 3-tier SharePoint farm. The physical hardware has 32 GB RAM divided as the following virtual machines that all get hosted inside Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V (Datacenter edition)
Active Directory - 2 GB: Used to provide authentication to all joined virtual machines in the farm.
Enterprise Database - 6GB: Used to host all SharePoint databases and TFS database.
3 x SharePoint Farm - 6GB: It depends on how big your project are. For example, if you need each develop to develop SharePoint in particular farm then you should separate 3 farms. Each farm has a SharePoint farm configuration database and relevant database.
If you need multiple developers to develop on the same farm then you need to join another server to the existing farm.
Team Foundation Server - 4GB: Used to store source code and files and for development collaboration
We have remaining 2 GB and it's quite enough for the physical host to run Hyper-V. I've also had a few other machines for specific purpose. For example, I've done building a single WAC farm that provides Office Web App service to SharePoint. I could turn
off one of SharePoint machines when my developer isn't working in order to test OWA. If you are having chances to work on SharePoint 2013 app development project so you would need to have a dedicated machine acting as a Provider that is responsible for providing
web service to the SharePoint. Of course in this case you use provider-hosted app or the combination of SharePoint-hosted app and provider-hosted app. Personally, this machine shouldn't be joined to the AD domain controller. It should be a separate AD because
in real-world scenario, your provider isn't the same AD with client's environment.
In terms of SharePoint topology design, I'd consider configuring 2-tier farm (WFE & App) because in many cases, you would have to deploy your solution in the environment that has many machines separated each other.
At the end of the day, it all depends on your budget and the size of your project. I would say there is no silver bullet on the hardware requirement. For example, the hardware needed for large project is totally different from the one for just SharePoint
    branding task.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Not enough system-resources to finish required-service

    Hi,
    I have developed a backup-program, using java.util.zip package.
When I applie this program to zip a file greather than 100Mo, an OutOfMemoryError occurs.
So, I try to call the JVM with Xms and Xmx parameters set to 512Mo:
    java -Xms512M -Xmx512M ClassName
Then, my program crash on the following exception:
java.io.IOException: Ressources systme insuffisantes pour terminer le service demand
(Translation: "Not enough system-resources to perform the required-service")
My workstation is equiped of 512Mo-RAM for an Athlon 1000MHz under Win2KPro 5.00.2195 and I using Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C) - Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0-C, mixed mode)
    The memory-usage after the Exception-evenment is 112Mo,
    the maximum-memory-usage is 216Mo,
    the virtual-memory-usage is 532Mo,
Is it an another way than increasing physical-memory of my workstation to contain my JVM ?
    Thanks beforehand for your replies.

You create (write) an archive I suppose.
I wrote a little web-server in Java which serves the requests on the basis of the zip archives listed in its configuration. That is, it lets us browse inside several zip archives with a browsers without having to unpack them. I use this thing on my PC against a couple of complete Java SDK documentation packages etc. The total size is above 150MB (megabytes, or, si vous prfrez, megaoctets). The thing runs without memory options without problems for a week (I usually shut the box down for the weekend).
The bottom line: with reading the archives I encounter no problems with the java zip package.

  • Oracle 9i require service pack 1?!

as it said it requires service pack 1 or higher, what is it?
    Where can d/l?
    thx~

Where did you read this? My guess, since Oracle doesn't refer to patchsets as service packs, is that it may be talking about a particular operating system (Windwos?) requirement, i.e. XP service pack 1, or something like that.
There have been two releases of 9i, a 9.0 release and a 9.2 release, which are sometimes referred to as 9i & 9i Release 2. 9.2 is the only version of these that's available for download on OTN so far as I'm aware.

  • Requires Service Pack 1 or Higher in Windows 2000

I am trying to install Oracle personal edition v 9.2.0.1. When installing the entprise version, I get the error that to install it requires Service Pack 1 or higher. Are we talking about something on Oracle? I have done some searching and haven't found a service pack.

You need service pack 1 or 2 from Microsoft for win2k.you can download this from the following site.
    http://www.microsoft.com/Windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp3/download.asp

  • The system requires Service Pack 1 or higher

I get this "requires Service Pack 1" message while trying to install Oracle9i Database 9.2.0.1 on XP Professional Service Pack 2. My guess is that it thinks I'm running W2K.
I have seen similar posts here and elsewhere, but have yet to find the solution. Any ideas appreciated! Thanks.

more info please. What OS? If w2k did you apply any service pack after installing the OS?

  • ITS (Internet Transaction Server)

    Good day.
If you have knowledge or materials about ITS (Internet Transaction Server), we need your help.
Your assistance will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    hi,
Understanding SAP ITS - Internet Transaction Server
The SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) is the essential link between the SAP R/3 system and the Internet. It enables Internet (and Intranet) users to communicate directly between R/3 system to run R/e transactions, remote enabled function modules and reports as Internet applications components. The ITS is one of the cornerstones of SAP's mySAP.com offerings and strategy and integrated into the SAP 6.10 Web Application Server release. The ITS is the key technology behind the following products: Workplace, Employee Self-Service (ESS), Enterprise Buyer Professional (EBP), BW 2.0 Interface, Online Store and Retail Store, and the APO Interface. There are many other SAP products and applications that are based on ITS technology to interface from the Web to SAP R/3.
SAP ITS can handle complementary Web technologies to access data from SAP R/3:
        - SAP GUI for Html: SAP transaction screens are dynamically converted to HTML pages
        - Web transactions: SAP transactions that can be called from an HTML page (template based mode)
        - Web remote function call (RFC): SAP R/3 function module that can be called from an HTML page
        - Web reporting: Mechanism for linking to SAP reports and regenerated lists from an HTML page. Web reporting is implemented as a special-case RFC.
        - ITS Flow Logic: Events, statuses, and modes used to model the dialog logic of a Web application in "flow files" on the SAP ITS.
SAP R/3 data is accessed via BAPI or RFC. Access to external data providers is also possible.
SAP's Internet applications are known as Internet Application Components (IAC) or Easy Web Transactions (EWT). Both are complete business solutions that allow Internet and Intranet users to access business information in the SAP R/3 system by starting transactions, function modules, and reports from a Web browser. All IACs or EWTs are based on a common infrastructure consisting of two essential components.
SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) - The ITS is the interface between the Internet and R/3 and is the runtime engine that links Web server to the R/3 Application server.
ABAP workbench tool - Web Application Builder and/or SAP@Web Studio - WAB is an R/3 ABAP workbench tool and SAP@Web Studio is a PC tool for creating, modifying and managing all ITS objects on which IACs or EWTs are based. These objects include service files, HTML Templates and HTRC language resource files.
The ITS solution to developing Internet applications is based on the premise that there is already a suitable business application solution, which has a stock of transactions, function modules and reports, as well as its own integrated development environment. All that is needed to enable Internet users to access and run these applications is an interface to the Internet. Apart from the general advantages derived from making SAP R/3 business information available over the internet, the ITS solution has many benefits.
    These include:
Ease of development - Programmers can develop IACsEWTs using a business application system (R/3), development environment (ABAP Workbench) and a programming language (ABAP), with which they are already familiar. There is also integrated data dictionary support from the ABAP Dictionary and appropriate transaction handling.
Ease of deployment - The ITS solution supports internationalization of applications.
Ease of use - ITS based IACs and EWTs have the same look and feel as any other Web site.
The separation of programming tasks from the visual design aspects is desirable, because both require different skills. In the ITS scenario, the ABAP programmer develops the application in ABAP using the ABAP Workbench in the SAP R/3 system and the user interface specialist handles the design and navigation aspects of the application with design languages like HTML and SAP's HTML Business in either the SAP@Web studio or ABAP Workbench tool, Web Application Builder.
The aim is to create applications that send documents back to the Web browser client in plain HTML format, since this format can be handled by all major browsers. This is important in an environment like the Internet where there is often little control you can exert over client software such as Web browsers. Fit can be controlled; you can also use Dynamic HTML, Java applets, JavaScript, and VBScript in you HTML templates, because the script language is transparent to the ITS.
    Thanks,
    Shankar

  • Creation of Web Template for SAP R/3 Transaction

    Go to transaction SE80
    choose internet service option.
enter a name for the service and hit enter, the system will prompt with a message that the service is not available do you want to create clik yes.
choose the radiobutton screen based application and enter the transaction code and hit enter.
once the service is created, right click on the service name and click create Template, enter the program name (it will be defaulted from the transaction) screen number and hit save.
once created you have to activate it and publish it to ITS server.
Which version of SAP are you using? you can show your transaction on the web using ITS without creating template also.

  • How can my business survive paying $1,000+ per month for our domestic internet and cells alone?

We are a small 'mom & pop' business.  Recently we relocated our shop and offices to an area where we have had to use Verizon solely for all our internet and cell usage. None of the local phone companies service our little "twilight zone" here, even though there is a huge church which houses and employs hundreds of people just down the street from us. Our bill went up to $1157. last month and then, after watching our usage like hawks, our bill was still $657. this month!  We were paying somewhere between $250-$300 before we moved.  We cannot sustain these charges and cut down on our internet usage any further.  We already cannot use it as much as we need because we are only able to purchase up to 50MB and we used somewhere in excess of 70MB ..... OVERAGES are killing us.
I have inquired with Verizon if there was some way for us to get on a land line through them here.... but all I got was the run around and a lot of customer service reps who just bounced me around.
So now I'm reaching out for help here.... does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is there an answer or am I just ... out of luck with regard to finding a manageable way to stay in business and still be able to afford to pay our Verizon bill.

    Hi Nageswara,
Did u got the answer for this thread.
I have similar requirement where unpaid absence has to be calculated based on 26 days as constant.
    I have manitained DIVI = 26 in T511K.
If the ZPP1 is like below :- (it takes calendar days of the month)
    RTE=TKSOLL
    RTE-TKAU**
    RTE*KGENAU
    RTE/TKDIVI
    ADDWT *
If the Zpp1 is like below :- (it takes 26 days as constant)
    RTE=26
    RTE-TKAU**
    RTE*KGENAU
    RTE/TKDIVI
    ADDWT *
My requirement is fulfilled by the above second rule, but it stops prorating the increment given in mid of the month and pays old and new Basic without prorating.(double pay)
    Kindly help in this regard.
