Hi ,
First and foremost I am not sure why you have used WLS 12c to be installed for WCC environment . That is currently a non-supported configuration .
Secondly you are starting the admin server from <domain_home>/bin ? If yes , then go up the directory and start it from <domain_home> itself .
Check if that works .

I bought my iPhone 4 open line in Vancouver, Canada last week for use here in my home base in Bangkok, Thailand. But when I tried using my Thai sim, I get a very weak signal, if not a weak signal, then a no service status. I also have very weak wifi reception. What do I do?
I already tried the following:
a. Turned the phone off and then on.
b. Checked all wifi connections – no problem given that all our laptops and desktops can connect seamlessly.
c. I tried restoring the phone to original factory settings via itunes
d. Tried resetting the phone.
e. Tried different microsims from all networks
f. However, all methods failed given that the network reception is very weak and often reflects – “no service”. And with regards to the wifi reception It has difficulty in reading even the signal right in front of the wifi router.
I went to two Apple resellers here in Bangkok and requested that they please look at my Iphone and have it serviced. I was frustrated when they said that given that I bought my phone in Canada, they are not able to support me and should instead try to contact the Apple store in Canada.
I went to apple.ca website and went to the expresslane support and I was said to register and callback. Tried calling the 1800 number but given that I was in Thailand I had difficulty getting a connection.

I can no longer log in with the Weblogic (administrator) user to OBIEE...

Hi all, first post.
We are having a rather difficult time with Oracle Support around here, and we have finally decided to support our installation by ourselves.
Last week he had an issue where our Web catalog was corrupt (BI Presentation didn't start, showing us an HTTP 500 error). We stopped the platform, moved the catalog directory and re-started the platform, so that it could automatically be recreated. We then copied the users and catalog directory back to their original position, and everything seemed to be fine.
Unfortunately, this was not to be. For some reason, our Weblogic (administrator) password cannot log in to the OBIEE front end anymore. We can still manage the platform via EM using this user, though.
The main issue here is that some users created dashboards and reports with the Weblogic user, so they can't modify them now. Also, they are having several issues displaying the results, specifically with the styles. Apparently, styles were lost when we copied the directory, and have no clue as to how to get them back.
So, my question would be - how can we fix this issue?

Hi,
I assume you are talking about OBIEE dashboard screen , when you mentioned about the OBIEE front end screen.
So, I would like to ask you what error does not throw when you say the weblogic user cannot login to OBIEE? Does it say Invalid Username/password or An error occurred during authenticatio system?
If its the latter, try restarting the services through OPMN and see if you can log back in.
I do not think this might be valid, but you may want to refresh the user GUID's once more. Change the <upgradeandexit> tag in instanceconfig.xml to true and REFRESH_GUID to YES in NQSConfig.ini and restart the BI Services. Once again, revert the parameters and start once more and check.

Hi,
I am using Weblogic 6. I have created a new Web
Application called Web (I have not used the DefaultWebApp_myserver).
And I have the following settings:
Name : Web
URI : Web
and Path : C:\Web
and placed my JSP files under c:\Web\
I am able to access the first page, but after that I am not able to access the
second page.
I get "Error 404--Not Found" on the browser. Basically the class file is not getting
created under /Web-inf/_tmp_war_myserver_myserver_Web/jsp_servlet/ folder .
I tried a work around for this. I copied all my files under one more folder called
web and placed this under C:\Web
The it works. Now I have 2 copied off all the files, 1 copy under c:\web and another
copy under c:\web\web\.
If I have the files under DefaultWebApp_myserver and have the setting as
Name: DefaultWebApp_myserver
URI: DefaultWebApp_myserver
Path: .\config\mydomain\applications
everything works fine.
Can any one please let me know if there is any configuration which has to be done
so that I do not duplicate the code in 2 directories

Hmm... It looks like they are gone forever now then. I can't think of any other way of getting them back apart from restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. Somebody else might be able to help but I think they're gone forever. I don't know why they were wiped from your iPod but it could be something to do with security. In the future I would recommend syncing to iTunes or iCloud to prevent it from happening again. You can always make a reservation at the Genius Bar and see what those guys can do because it seems that they are still there, they are just 'hidden' from view. http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/gb/en/techsupport/

OIM problem with weblogic administration server (configuring OIM)

I have this software installed:
- Oracle database 11gR2 (schemas made with RCU)
- SOA Suite generic 11.1.1.2.0
- Repository Creation Utility
- Weblogic Server 1034
- JDK 1.6.0_24
- IAM_generic 11.1.1.1.3.0 (OIM)
when I'm configuring the oracle identity management 11.1.1.3.0 and I'm in the weblogic administration server screen I write in the fields:
url administration server : t3://localhost:7001
Username: weblogic

when it tries to connect to weblogic I get an error that says:

you can add a page to a book, or a book to a book, or a book to a page, but not a page to a page

OIM 11g high availability - is LDAP required for Weblogic credential store

Trying to understand whether we need an LDAP in an HA architecture with [OIM/SOA] - [OIM/SOA/Admin]?

Does not mention this requirement, in fact it specifically says you only need an LDAP if: "only for LDAPSync-enabled Oracle Identity Manager installations and for Oracle Identity Manager installations that integrate with Oracle Access Manager. "
However I have seen mention of issues with viewing tasks in SOA from OIM:

Stating then when using OIM, SOA and an isolated Admin server, you need to switch to a proper LDAP as a credential and policy store:

With Oracle Fusion Middleware, you can use different types of credential and policy stores in a WebLogic domain. Domains can use stores based on XML files or on different types of LDAP providers. However, when using XML policy stores, the changes made on managed servers are not propagated to the Administration Server unless they use the same domain home.
An Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA Suite Enterprise Deployment Topology uses different domain homes for the Administration Server and the managed server as described in the Section 2.3, "Shared Storage and Recommended Directory Structure." Note that you can use the internal LDAP that comes with WebLogic, for your users and groups if you want.
When you have multiple domains, you have a problem with this set-up as the internal LDAP is coupled to
a specific domain. This means that users you created in one domain are not visible in the other. When using
a separate LDAP that contains the users. You can configure in each domain an authenticator that points
to the LDAP. In this way you can share to user accross multiple domains.
When you are planning to use one domain you can stick with the internal LDAP if you want.

which might help you in how to proceed.

Custom authenticaion provider in WebLogic Administration Portal

Hi all,
I'm trying to integrate a custom authentication provider in WL Administration Portal. Our users (i.e. administrators) need to be able to easily define Visitor Entitlements.
The goal is to present administrators with a user interface just like the one presented to you when you go to Users, Groups & Roles -> Visitor Entitlements -> <Any Role> -> Add Groups to role
with the DefaultAuthenticator.
I already implemented these interfaces in my authentication provider:
weblogic.management.commo.StandardInterface weblogic.management.security.authentication.AuthenticatorMBean weblogic.management.security.authentication.GroupMemberListerMBean weblogic.management.security.authentication.UserReaderMBean weblogic.management.security.authentication.GroupRemoverMBean weblogic.management.security.authentication.MemberGroupListerMBean
However, the Portal Administration Console only allows Predicate Entry, but does not display a Hierarchy Tree.
Do I have to supply the classes doing the actual rendering myself, or do I just miss a required interface in my authentication provider?
Anyone who can help me with that?

Hi All,
Found the reason for the exception. I was implementing the generated the CustomAuthenticatorImpl class (generated through WebLogic MBeanMaker utility) as the provider class by implementing the AuthenticationProvider interface. Keeping them separate solved the issue.
Able to create the jar without any issues and also no error or exception after restart.
