Requirement of Cost Estimate Details Material-wise

Hi,
Kindly let me know the tablenames or Tcodes in which Cost Estimate details are stored material-wise(FG or SFG)
For E.g.
1     Raw Materials     0.58
2     Packing Material     1.23
3     Man Power     0.15
4     Utilities                     0.71
5     Q C Overhead     1.94
6     Depreciation     0.91
7     Factory Overhead     0.07
8     Admin- Overhead
9     Other Overheads
Final Cost              5.59        ( Material Standard Price Derivation)
Standard SAP Report should give above details directly after enter range of SFG or FG Materials
With Regards,
Kunal Sheth

Hi Kunal,
You Estimate the Standard Cost using Transaction Code CK11N, Mark and Release in CK24.
For any Material, SFG or FG, you can view the Standard Cost Estimate
1.Using Transaction Code CK13N.
You can find bothe "Itemization" View (as you asked in your question) and "Cost Component View" there.
2. Alternatively, to be comparitively easy, go to the Material Master of any particular Material for which you want to see the Standard Cost Estimate, Go to "Costing 2" view, you will be able to see there "Future Planned Price", "Current Standard Price" and "Previous Price".
You can simply press on any of the above "buttons" (Press "Current" to view) and the system will take you to the Standard Cost Estimate screen.
Pls check and revert back for further explanation....

  • Error when Create Cost Estimate for Material using CK11

    Dear Experts,
I have a material ABCD which is FOC parts:-
    1) Procurement type: F
    2) Special procurement type: Z (at first, it was wrongly entered as B. I changed special procurement to Z & the message 'The procurement type of the special procurement type is E' displayed but I still can save & system allowed it).
    3) Standard price is 0.00 as this is FOC.
Firstly, I run CK11 for material EFGH which is the parent of material ABCD.
This time, the material ABCD has special procurement type B. I received error messages:
    1) No price could be determined for material ABCD in plant xyz,
    2) Cost component split costed with value of zero,
    3) Cost estimate for material ABCD in plant xyz is incorrect.
Then, I changed special procurement type for material ABCD from B to Z and run CK11 again. Still the same error occurred.
Could someone advise me how to run CK11 without errors.
    Thanks in advance!

I don't know if B and Z are really the name of your special procurement keys or you are just using them as examples.  Either way, the special procurement key is critical for determining how your material is valued.  It is used for such things as stock transfer from other plant, subcontracting, and consignment processes.  Can you tell me how these special proccurement keys are set or what you want to use these keys for.  You can find the configuration for these key under menu path Controlling - Porduct cost controlling - Product cost planning - Material cost estimate with quantity structure - Settings for quantity structure control - Master data - Check special procurement types.
    thanks,

  • Cost Estimate by Material Valuation Type

    Hi,
Anybody knows about the impact of cost estimate (or standard cost) by material Valuation Type level instead of by Plant level?  Especially how is the impact on Moving Average Price calculatio (is it calculated for both valuation type level and plant level?) and the inpact on Production order confirmation (which value will be taken for finish product inventory? Is it Plant level standard price or valuation type standard price?)
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    In Split Valuation --
At plant level the material is always valued @Moving average price(MVP)
More specific to the material ,the valuation will be made @ valuation type level --either at Standard cost or MVP. as you wish.
In production order confirmation the valuation will be made @ valuation type level .
For your inventory valuation, you may go for plant level valuation or valuation type level.

    HI GURUS
    Product A Details
    Material type = ZXXX ( customized ) ,  Plant = 1500
Bom Componet =  G & H     ( where product G is non - valuated  , no costing view maintained with material type = Z111, while H is valuated product )

    Production type =   Repetitive Manufacturing
we are already Creating  material cost estimates for material  A. through  ( Ck11N ) successfully . with a Costing varient = ZC11 .
also while creating cost estimates , in costing structure ( explorer ) ,  Non-valuated material G is not being shown there.
But when we create cost estimate for for material B throgh CK11N . with costing varient ZC11. it gives error
" No price could be determined for material \ batch  K / plant 2000.   Non-valuated material K is shown in costing structure.
How we can restrict the Non-valuated material not being showing in costing structure in case of  B material. as it is being happen in case of material A.
    thanks \ thomas

Check the BOM for material A   -   product G on status/long text tab shows as "not relevant to cost"  (this is why it doesn't show in the CK11n cost report
Check the BOM for material B - product K - is it checked "on" for relevant to cost? - if so remeove the check

  • No standard cost estimate found for the material

    Hi,
When we are trying to generate the bill systems throws the error as "no statandard cost estimate found" whereas the material is a kmat material.
Actually as per the requirement we should not Run standard cost estimate for any material,we will update the standard price in MR21
What are the settings that i need to do  to avoid the above error message while doing billing?
    Following error msg is appearing:-
No standard cost estimate could be found for material "300000"

    Diagnosis
In Profitability Analysis, an attempt was made while valuating with material costing to read for material "123456" a standard cost estimate released on posting date "02.10.2008".
The system has discovered that there are no error-free standard cost estimates released in plant "BP01" on the specific date "02.10.2008" for material "123456".
The material cost estimate is accessed according to the CO-PA Customizing settings for costing key "YG1" under Define Access to Material Costing.

  • Material cost estimate and mateiral cost estimate with quantity structure

    Hi sap guys,
What is the difference between material cost estimate and material cost estimate with quantity structure

    Hi
Both are in one way the same.
Material cost estimate can be calculated as
    1. Material with quantity structure
    2. Material without quantity structure
You can get more insight into it at the following link

  • No calculation of base when creating material cost estimate

    Dear all,
I am facing the following problem:
I have created a costing sheet Z001. I have also created base Z001 to this costing sheet and also overhead Z401. Base is cost element 401100 and 415000. When I am creating material cost estimate in CK11N I only get overhead based on base 401100, not on 415000. What can that depend on?
I am trying to creat the cost estimate for material 6004 in plant 1111. The material 6004 cost element 415000 consists of materials both in plant 1110 and 1111, could this be some problem? The material 6004 cost element 401100 only consists of material in plant 1111, so this is a difference.
    Very glad for any help!
    Best Regards,
    Åsa

    Hi
    1. Does the cost element 415000 appear in CK11N itemization or not? It must appear in the itemization, for the system to calculate overhead on it
    2. Create a cost element group including both these cost elements and specify the cost element group in your BASE
    3. If you are using Origin group also in the BASE, ensure that materials pertaining to both the cost elements have "origin group" assigned in their material masters
Whether materials exist in both plant or not wont impact the situation

  • Overview report cost estimate (fix and variable)

    Hello
anybody knows a overview report  where i can see for the current valid cost estimates
    per material
costs splitt between fix and variable costs
Alternatively it would be sufficient if this is just shown for a costing run
In CK40N and all other reports i know i have the complete costs but to see details an extra click to the between fix and variable costs is needed and i can not extract to excel.
Or is the only option an query on KEKO,KEPH, CKIS?
    Cheers

    Hello
@Sachin: Thanks for the report but the output is not that good - but helpful

  • Can we use two costing variants for standards cost estimate release.

    Hi,
We have 2 plants (plant 5100 and plant 5200) under company code 5000.
We have run standard cost estimate(CK11N) for material 98001000027 at plant 5100 using costing variant ZG01 and at plant 5200 using costing variant ZG02. First, we released  standard cost estimate (CK24) for this materia at plant 5100 and set (in marking allowance) costing variant ZG01 and costing version 01. Next time when we are trying to release the standard cost estimate for the same material for plant 5200, it is automatically picking ZG01 as costing variant in marking allowance and it is not allowing to change the costing variant to ZG02 saying Company code 5000: Release already carried out, cancellation not possible, Message no. CK797.
Is it possible to use two different costing variants for release of standard cost estimate for a material at two different plants at the same company code? If so how?
    Please suggest.
    Thanks,
    Bijay

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply again.
What is the benefit of assigning "Single Valuation Variant same to different Plants" ? In costing variant also we can assign maximum only one valuation variant and this valuation variant will default for all the plants, and hence I dont think it is necessary to assign same valuation variant to different plants.
    My  issue is :
Example: ( Standard Cost Estimate for material 98001000027)
    Plant - 1
    Material Cost                                             Rs.100
    Labour Cost                                               Rs.50
Overheads (10% of Labour Cost)                  Rs.5
(say ,through costing sheet - 1)
    Total Standard Cost Estimate                      Rs.155
    Plant - 2
    Material Cost                                             Rs.150
    Labour Cost                                               Rs.100
Overheads (20% of Labour Cost)                  Rs.20
(say, through costing sheet - 2)
    Total Standard Cost Estimate                      Rs.270
Now, Please explain why we cannot have two Standard Cost Estimates for a material at two different plants? If it is possible to have two standard cost estimates for a material at two different plants, how to take care of  overheads (rate of which varies) at two different plants (plant - 1 > 10% and plant- 2>20%) as we can assign maximum one costing sheet to a valuation variant variant?
How to map the system so as to meet the above requirement?
    Thanks,
    Bijay

  • CK11N Cost Estimate Tables

    Hi,
What is the SAP table name which carries standard cost estimates after CK11N.
I know there are following tables related to cost estimates...ProdCostEst.No. (KALNR) is common field that run thru all these three tables
KEKO - Cost Estimate Header Data
KEPH - Cost component view of a cost estimate
CKIS - Cost Estimate line items..
Since CKIS is line item table ...Is there any table that can be referred to get total of cost estimates? Purpose is to get the total of cost estimate for material /plant.
    Regards

    Hi Atul
If you just want to see the cost estimate once in a while, check the table KEPH..
However, i prefer making a custom report.. For that, following are the BAPIs
    BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_GETLIST: Determine cost estimate lists
BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_GETDETAIL: Determine detailed information for a cost estimate
BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMIZATION: Determine itemization for a cost estimate
BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_GETEXPLOSION: Determine BOM explosion for a cost estimate
Execute BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_GETLIST first to get the list of cost estimates. Then you execute the other BAPIs
SAP has also provided the sample program SAPBAPICOPC to demonstrate, with examples, how to use these BAPIs

  • Excise Duty - Standard Cost Estimate

    Hi Experts,
We have defined Excise duty as one of the cost component in the cost component structure.  Can some one explain how this Excise duty is posted as planned values in the Standard Cost Estimate ( For material cost quantity from the BOM and price from Material Master is picked up according to the Valuation Variant - defined strategy - similarly for Excise Duty how the system captures the Value).
Please Help - thanks in advance.

    Hi
If your Plant is not in an Excise Free Zone - Then You should not add Excise Duty as a cost component because you will be getting credit for the same
If your Plant is in an Excise Free Zone - Then your MAP/Planned Price etc must be inclusive of Excise duty.... This is handled by marking the excise condition as Non Deductible
So, in short, there is no way to show it separate... For Case b, you can use CK74N to add Excise component as Additive cost

  • Error during variance calculation for production order "NO cost estimate "

    hi all,
I'm gettin this error message while trying to calculate the variance for a production order. error is "No cost estimate for material xxxx for 01.10.2008.
when i look at material xxx in MM02, under cost estimate for current period there is a value but nothing for previous period. So i'm guessing the the Cost estimate was not run of this material? am i correct here?
Now if i try to run cost estimate for material for the missing periods using CK11N, i get an error "cannot save for past period"
Could some one tell me how can i get a prior year estimate into the material master?
I tried CK40N and CKN1 but just cant get it to work...
    Thanks heaps

    Hi Tom
unfortunately there is no easy way to get a product cost estimate for a past date. One of the reasons for this would be inconsistant product valuation.
You could in theory create a cost estimate in a current date and use an ABAP or manually adjust the valid from and to dates directly in the tables (e.g. KEKO). To do this in a production environment would be restrictive off course.
The standard cost estimate is the basis for the target costs so as an alternative you could look to change the configuration of the target cost version in OKV6 to either of the following:
    - Plan Cost/Preliminary Costing (that is the plan calc done on your production order)
    - Alternative Material Cost Estimate (one that is not necessarily a product costing that is set for marking and release).
I hope this is of some help.

  • Sales order is blocked for Delivery-ZH Cost estimate Req

    Hi experts,
When I am saving the sales order I am getting the informative message standard cost estimate for material xxxx is missing. when i am creating delivery with reference to sales order  it is not allowing me to do delivery it is showing that Sales order is blocked for Delivery-ZH Cost estimate Req( in  a log). Can you pls let me know what configuration I have to check.
    Regards,
    Sunina Agarwal

    hello, friend.
it looks like product costing has been activated in your environment.  if such is the case, you would have to coordinate with your FICO consultant, and they have to make the necessary standard cost estimates.
please also check if the cost estimates are part of the incompletion procedures.  if it is, you would not be able to bill the transaction even if this is taken out of the incompleteness procedure.
    regards.
