Requisite search fails

Question

Hi,
we are on Requisite 3.5/88
after updating the catalogue from a flat txt-file (which we do on a regularly base each week) the ordinary search does not work at all - even when putting in SAP material nr the search fails. Still the material is in the catalogue and can be found via product index. we did not change any settings - this is the first time ever we face such a misbehaviour...

Matthias: Requisite says that policies are re-built automatically, but it does not appear so in some cases, especially for big loads. In your case, just watch the system behaviour, and see if you need to re-build on a regular basis, or, if the search issue is infrequent, - on an as-needed basis.
I set up Requisite before, and have been implementing CCM this year. No comparison, especially performance-wise...(. I have not seen MDM demo myself, the presentations are impressive though. Still, for all the SAP marketing, I try to remember that SRM-MDM is only version 1.0 - bugs inevitable. But to contradict myself again , I'd rather work through the bugs in the new MDM, than CCM.
