Hi
I am using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.2 + Adobe Output ES Server on Linux (SUSE10) to create PDF's from input XML.
I have had some trouble getting Arial fonts which are used in my LiveCycle Designer created XDP's to be produced in the resulting PDF using the java API or the Process Flow (watched folder) in Output ES. I have put Arial TTF fonts into both the Server Fonts and Customer Fonts folders and the Arial font still seems to be coming out as MyriadPro in the final PDF.
Is there something I am doing wrong ?
Regards
Robert.Hello Jackson,
We got this working by adding the below fonts to the server-fonts directory on the jvm which you specify in the LCM when you configure the livecycle and bounced the jvm and thing to note down here is that we added our Windows system fonts which are "ttf" files and our jvm is on linux. You can give a shot and see if this works at your end also.
Fonts added:
ARIALN.TTF
ARIALNI.TTF
ARIALNB.TTF
ARIALNBI.TTF
ariali.ttf
arialbi.ttf
arialbd.ttf
arial.ttf

While creating a project in Garage Band 09 my sample tracks were being cut short- I then discovered they had been overwritten in soundtrack pro.
Any ideas why? and how to get my tracks back?
I never opened soundtrack pro to edit the track just Garage band....the track just mysteriously saved as half the track.
I am running Lion and I upgraded my Garage band to '11 hoping it would resolve the issue...it didn't. Now I can't find that tracks at all.
The 2 songs having the issue are titled Exotic Yearning and Reunion.
I am in the process of reinstalling the audio content from my discs. I just don't want to run into this again.
Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! After spending some time reinstalling the soundtrack pro 3 content I opened the full track called Reunion.
It showed back up in Garage Band.*It was the full track and wasn't chopped off until I dragged it onto the project. Then it showed up chopped.
Then I closed Garaged band and opened soundtrack pro 3....The song was again chopped off at the 1:33min mark
Very Frusterated...:( -

I am creating a project in iDVD. There is no audio in the menus. How do u get the default music back?
If the theme had music associated with it originally choose a new theme and then go back to the original theme. That will restore the audio to the menu audio bin.

After I select "create" it does nothing. Used to work Ok. Program seems to stall and do nothing. Encore CS4 can't create a project with Snow Leopard
After many crashes on a Windows XP 64Bit Dell workstation trying to render a project, I thought I would create the project from scratch on my MacBook Pro 17" with Snow Leopard installed. I get a strange string error message trying to create a new project. It goes back to the welcome screen and I try to open the project it just created. I get a second error message that the project was created with Windows and can't be opened with a Mac. Strange. Then I get a third message saying an input contract violation has occurred. I guess I'm in trouble somehow for this . I think I was successful at creating a service issue with this, but I only grabbed the first error message at that time.
I'll attach the messages here....
RickSorry to say, no I have not. I was able to complete the work on my Windows XP 64Bit system.
The MacBook is my personal laptop, but I use it as backup to what I am doing on the workstation.
I was sent some info on permissions and maybe starting in safe mode. I don't know that "safe mode" exists on a Mac, and I am the only owner/user on it. Permissions should not be an issue. No time right now to do an uninstall/reinstall, but that's what I was thinking of doing.
It tells me I can't create the file, yet it appears in the folder. Then I try to open it and it says it was created with a Windows machine. Neat trick.
I just tried again, no luck. -
Is there a way to create a project with custom audio settings that are NOT only "Stereo" or "Surround"?
Thanks!
-Adrianthe old apps are on my computer but they have had upgrades since they were put on the ipod originally. you think you would get a warning about this when you restored. I was not worried about losing the progress of the apps but i would have been worried about the app it self!!!!!

Regards,
Padmalatha.KHi
Thank you for the response.
As you suggested, I checked for the required components :
I could find PCUI_GP, but could not find the component SAP_BUILDT.
How do i import this component into the track?
I tried the option of Rebuild, Repair and Reopen NWDS - But this did not resolve the errors
I tried to create projects for other DCs - No errors for other DCs.
Please suggest.

Can't create new project or open a project - hangs & crashes every time
I installed PRE8 last night. I can launch the app and get the welcome screen. When I click Create New Project, it initializes the application and opens the window/shell for the PRE8 app with the menu bar at the top, but never actually opens the new project. I can open the menus in the menu bar, but most of the options are grayed out. If I try to start a New Project from the File menu, nothing happens. When I close the application, I get the crash report dialog (crash data below). I am not using NVIDIA video card/drivers (ATI Radeon 1150). Machine is a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop, AMD Athlon X2 running Vista home premium. I have done 2 full uninstalls and reinstalls of PRE8 and installed the update to 8.0.1, but I keep getting the same problem. I can never actually open a project, which makes this software pretty darn useless. Any suggestions?

Install latest version of Apple QuickTime (v7.6.7 at time of writing). Even if you don't use QuickTime, PRE relies heavily on it.
Install most recent graphics and sound drivers from the manufacturers web sites.
Run Disk Cleanup.
Run Defragmenter.
Temporarily disable any anti-virus real time scanning.

Ibase and configuration error while creating a Service Contract
Hi,
I am creating a Service Contract programatically and not manually through the T-code CRMD_ORDER.
I am using the Function module CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE for the same as the FM BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI and CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN did not work for me because of the number of parameters that needs to be passed for creating the Service contract.
The Service contract does get created but there are errors corresponding to the Point of delivery and configuration missing.
The error corresponding to the point of delivery says "IS-U:allocate a point of delivery to the item" even though I am passing the values in the REF_OBJECTS field of the CRMXIF_BUSTRANS_ITEM structure.
Structure for the same is :
ls_objects_i-TYPE_REF_OBJ = 'B'.
ls_objects_i-object_task = 'I'.

Puneet Jhari.Hi,
I am creating a Service Contract programatically and not manually through the T-code CRMD_ORDER.
Structure for the same is :
ls_objects_i-TYPE_REF_OBJ = 'B'.
ls_objects_i-object_task = 'I'.
ls_objects_i-PRODUCT_GUID = lv_product_guid.
ls_objects_i-PRODUCT_ID = p_product_id.

OKS_CONTRACT_PUB - Creating a service Contract
Hi,
We are working on release 12, and I am trying to Create and Update Contracts through and API.
At the moment the API I am using to create the contract is OKS_CONTRACT_PUB.Create_Contract, but it keeps giving me errors.
Like You must enter a value for column lse_id .which is the error I am getting at the moment.
If there are anybody that has succesfully used this API, or can give me any assistance, it will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Carin WebbThe best way to avoid errors is to make note of the mandatory columns that the API needs to create contract successfully like lse_id is a mandatory column.
You can also check from the front end what fields need to be mandatorily entered while creating a contract.
