Requisitions Interface V 11.0.3

We are on Oracle Apps Rel.11.0.3. and trying to build an interface for importing requisitions from the legacy system. Having problems with the "Import Source" parameter of the Requisitions Import Program. The list of values does not contain any values. I have a value in the "INTERFACE_SOURCE_CODE" column of the PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE_ALL table and also have the right org_id. Could someone help me please!!
Also it would be wonderful if someone out there that has coded this interface would share their program with me.

Sorry, I don't understand your question. The Adobe reader version we used in September is the same version I'm using today. The version I have is the same version that is pushed down to all employees. I don't think I had 11.0.6 version.

I am facing some issue regarding Requisition interface table..
Purpose: we have to massage data & create massage data & create Requisitions.
Issue Detail:
Before:
Previously it was Auto Create Purchase Requisition
On the move transaction form step 10 to 20, this step will trigger creation of requisition.
and Creating Requisition successfully.
After:
After stopping Auto Create Purchase Requisition functionality the Requisition interface data is not getting populated in the Requisition Interface tables as well.
Please provide your inputs.

It's standard functionality not to populate the req interface while you don't want to autocreate.

Problem Description

함께 Requisition이 생성되지 않습니다.
Error message : "Invalid deliver to location".
Workaround
Interface table에 valid한 deliver_to_location 값을 update합니다.
Solution Description
Code는 다음과 같이 수정되었습니다.
'PO Receipt'Charge type의
Outside Processing resources에 대해 Requisition interface table로
data를 Insert하는 동안, deliver-to-location은 동일한 operation으로
assign된 department의 location정보를 가져오게 됩니다.

Hi Ray,
"PO_CREATE_REQUISITION_SV.PROCESS_REQUISITION" is not a public API and hence its not recomended to use this for importing requistions. Instead you may use "Requision Import" program & "PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE_ALL" table.

Updating Price and Supplier at Requisition interface table after Min/Max

Hello,
We have requirement of updatig requisition data at interface table once Min/Max planning is completed.
We need input here like what would be the behaviour of Standard Requisition import program if we update price and supplier details at interface table after Min.Max planning and before running the Requisiton import.
Quick reponse will help us to move forward on this requirement.

Yes, we are using sourcing rules, so whenever i update the interface table with Price and Supplier detials after Min/Max then the Req.Import should not consider the Sourcing rules, it should create requisiton based on the values (Price and Supplier)provided at interface tanle.

Problems with a purchase requisition interface via SAP XI

We are integrating the purchase requisition from external aplication to SAP through SAP XI. SAP XI send a IDOC to SAP R3 to create the purchase document. The conection is made with rfc conection which has set the comunication user and logon language. The purchase requisition is created with the logon language and if the material has not short text in this language in material master the error ME095 is generated.
I don't understand this error because in the interface we set the PR short text which is posible to change. Also, we have set this system message like warning in T160M.
We don't find any way to skip this message and we think if the interface allow to set a short text in the PR it's the same that the material master isn't updated with the short text in logon language.

I try to execute requisition through reqimport i got one error in po_interface errors table sowing the error column is PROJECT ACCOUNTING COLUMNS and message is
If Oracle Projects is installed and PROJECT_ACCOUNTING_CONTEXT for 'S', then the project, task, type of expenditure, the date the item of expenditure and the organization of expenditure should be valid
and PROJECT TC COLUMNS error message is
The task is not chargeable , i am not understand this errors and which columns is given this errors also i am not understnd.
if any knows this error please help me.this is very urgent issue.

While submitting the Requisition Import Exceptions Report, there is a parameter titled 'Delete Exceptions’. whether you are submitting the report with this parameter as Yes or No. Please submit the report with the 'Delete Exceptions’ parameter as No. Else you can check the errors in po_interface_errors.

Getting error in Charge_Account_Id in PO module for interface

Hello guys,
Currently I m facing issue related to budget account and others account .....actually I m designing the requisition interface pkg and create the auto requisition but when load the data in PO_REQUISITION_INTERFACE_ALL table, there one of the mandatory column 'Charge_Account_Id' when ever I take the account id from MTL_PARAMETERS or MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS on basis of some condition it's give ERROR likes:
Variance account is invalid
Cause: The variance account that you entered or that was derived is invalid.
Action: Enter a valid variance account.
Budget account is invalid
Cause: The budget account that you entered or that was derived is invalid.
Action: Enter a valid budget account.
Accrual account is invalid
Cause: The accrual account that you entered or that was derived is invalid.
Action: Enter a valid accrual account.
Invalid Value for PROJECT_ACCOUNTING_CONTEXT.
Cause: You entered a invalid value for PROJECT_ACCOUNTING_CONTEXT or you don't have the proper installation of PA/PJM for the Destination Type entered.
Actually my client done the 'BUDGETING ACCOUNT SETUP' on Inventory level and organization level in oracle apps 11i application according to business requirement.
I am not able to find correct or exact 'Charge_Account_Id' . plz look the errors and give me suggestion and also correct table name or script.
please help me guys...........................

Vendor details for a Min Max requisitions

Hi All
When Min Max trigger some requisition interface lines, we need to get the vendor details also be populated,
What set up it need to get these. Because when I run a Min-Max planning report, I am not getting the vendor details.
What we have is we will be having a single item be with a single vendor and vendor site
Please help.

In the General planning tab for Sourcing type is it mentioned as Supplier?
Is the use ASL flag in the Purchasing tab for the item enabled?
The supplier and site details are active?
The ASL for this item is still active ? (Check in the supplier line details in the ASL form)
My funtional guy says yes to all the above quries.
And also says All ASL have the sourcing rules assigned to the assignment set that is setup on the MRP: Default Sourcing Assignment Set profile, but this scenario is only for minmax
So this issues is only for MIN-MAX.Please let me know if any thing to be done in setup to automatically get the
vendor details into requistions lines of interface table based on items.

Requisition reference in PDOI - IMPORTANT

version: 11.5.10.2
We have a requirement to push the PO's created in a legacy appln to ORacle 11i. Since Oracle has provided standard open interface for PO I decided to use it. Moreover we used Requisition interfaces for req export to oracle. Now I need to refer the requisition id's/number thru the PO interfaces. But I could see only REQ_DISTRIBUTION_ID field in PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE table. Is that the only field available to refer the req, or can we also refer REQ Number in any of the po interface tables? Did anyone come across this scenario? IF so, please share your thoughts

Were you able to successfully link requisition to po using PDOI? Or was it just reference should on PO? Did you checked if req_distribution_id actually got populated in tables of po_distributions_all?
As per metalink note 1082985.1 seems we can only establish reference but not the link.
Can you or anyone please suggest way out for linking requisition to PO which I need to create based on file coming from legacy system.

Class View sample in c# into VSPackage?

Hi Guys, i'm developing an extension for Visual studio 2013. I need to create a custom view like Class View but i cannot find any example of that.
I searched a lot on the internet but I could not find anything well structured.
I know I can create a toolview with a WPF controls but I seem to have understood that the right direction for this type of functionality is to use the framework MPF and NodeHierarchy but there are very few examples and I can not able to build a good starting
point.

The ClassView Toolwindow isn't reusable. You can author a custom project type that integrates with it, but it's not a trivial task. If your goal is to list your own project objects in the classview, you'll want to review some of the open source/sample projects
that implement the requisite interfaces.
Now the Solution Explorer toolwindow is reusable. It's actually used by the Solution Explorer and Server Explorer toolwindows. If you want to pattern your Toolwindow after the Solution or Server Explorer Toolwindow, you'll need to implement a custom hierarchy
to populate it, this is also not a trivial task. I mention this because Caillen's original suggest may very well be easier for you to implement.
To create your own IVsUIHierarchyWindow based Toolwindow, you'll want your ToolWindowPane to override the Window property to return null, and set the ToolClsid property, instead of assigning a control to the base.Content property.
For example, here's a snippet from a package I wrote quite a while back:

Po_requisition_error

Hi,
I am imported some records in requisition_interface table and run the requisition import program,i got error total records,
Ex:- i inserted 2000 records in interface table and ran the requisition import program,but this 2000 records got error based on gl_date,
gl_period is not open,now i open the period.once again i run the concurrent progam it is not picked ,what i do next pick this requisition from requisition interface tables to requisiton base tables.

Try opening all the other periods as well . inv , PO, etc.
But my doubt are you expecting those error to get process again.
If that is case did you update the status of the process_flag of the lines in the interface table to NULL? if not do that and run again.
or else check if you are running the program as employee? if not it will not be able to create the requisition.

How to migrate Drop Ship PO and SO from 11.0.3 instance to R12?

We are in process of migrating Drop Ship Orders from 11.0.3 system to R12 system?
Can anyone help me in identifying how to migrate Drop Ship Orders?
Is it possible to migrate Drop Ship PO and SO Separately and then link them through Drop ship sources table? How the reservation will work for this type of orders?
Any guidelines will be really helpful.

What I am currently planning to do is as follows:
1) Migrate the Drop Ship SO
2) Run the workflow background process which will progress the line (From Booked -> Awaiting Receipt) and insert the record in to Requisitions Interface and OE_DROP_SHIP_SOURCES Table
3) Migrate the PO separately
4) Update the record created through second step in Drop Ship Sources table with PO Header ID, Line ID and Line Location ID
5) Receive against the PO
6) OM Line is getting shipped at this stage once the receiving is done
7) Delete the lines in Requisition interface table
In this, the only custom thing we are doing is updating the DROP SHIP SOURCES Table with PO IDs.
I am not able to think any other way to migrate Drop Ship SO.
Please suggest, if anyone is foreseeing any problem in this approach or having any other approach.

Purchase orders and requisitions - R12 user interfaces

I see that the purchase order can be registered in the system by two different interfaces (I'm running R12.1.1): Using Oracle forms (Navigation path: Purchasing Super user: -> Purchase orders -> Purchase orders) and using Java html pages (Navigation path: Purchasing Super user: ->Buyer workspace ->Orders).
I have two questions:
1. The second option (using java pages) is not documented in the usersguide. Is it fully in production or they are still developing it? Why there are two different interfaces for the same purpose?
2. I see that from Java pages interface I can only see requisitions, but I cannot enter new ones (Navigation path: Purchasing Super user: ->Buyer workspace ->Requisitions). Should I enable somewhere this or the requisition is not developed using Java pages interface?
