Requistion in Erecruitment in SAP but not in Portal

Hi,
I am able to create requisition using workflow from MSS and its updated in HRP5125 and so on but recruiters are not able to see it in the portal...are there any settings I am missing.

OSA-Error message shows up in R3, but not in Portal(BSP)

Hello,
I'm working on Objective Setting & Appraisal with workflow & portal. At the template level I've put some business check which if not met at the document level throws up error msg. This works fine in R3 and the error msg is shown at the bottom of the screen at the status bar.
But this same error msg doesn't show up when I open the document in the portal through workflow. The appraisal document opens in the portal through BSPs. When the condition is not met, on saving or submitting the page remains there ... but no error msg. We tried to show the error msg as a pop up and the pop up works fine in R3 but not in portal.
Pls advice how to solve this problem.

We have used the application hap_document under BSP Application. And we have not used any standard user exit. All we have done is created a new enhancement under HRHAP00_DOC_BC ;ie; Appraisal Document - Business Check.
I can see one document_error.htm Document - Error Handling. Do I have to do anything with this page ? if so, should it not call this page automatically whenever there is an rror msg ?

BSP YHAP_DOCUMENT-working in BSP but not through portals

Hi!
I am using the BSP HAP_DOCUMENT to get column access for columns in the appraisal document for 'further participant' role.
for this i changed the mode in ydocuments_where_participated.htm to 'X' and also used the BADI HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS. in this badi i have changed the availability of the columns to 'X' and in the portals i gave this custom BSP and this ypage for the iview.
when i test the page in SE80 it is working perfectly but in the portals the column access is not working.
In the debugging mode of the BADI i see that the mode which is set to "X' in the BSP page is blank when run through portals. But if i test in se80 the mode is still 'X" when the badi is hit.
did anyone phase the same scenario?
any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Running BW Query in a Web, but not using Portal

Hello guys,
I'm running a BW Query using Web (From Query Designer) and it keeps trying to open a portal page. Then I need to change the URL manually to something like this:
http://sapdev:8000/sap/bex?......
Then works fine, my query runs with no issues. Where can I define to do not use Portal url ? (I'm checking the following document: How to... enable SAP BW Web functionality....").

IDOC going out of SAP but not able to reach XI

Hi,
I am sending an idoc from SAP to XI but its getting stuck somewhere. I checked SM58 and found the following error there.
"EDISDEF: Port SAPLED segment defn E2EDL37005 in IDoc type DELVRY05 CIM ty".

Enhancement working in R/3 but not in portal

I have a crm enhancement (version 4.0). I have created one badi implementation and anohter one was already exsisting which i have change. This is working in SAP (r/3) but in portal it is not behaving in the same way. I am not understandn what link is missing. I could see some BSP classes in the system, but i am not sure how to find out where to do the modifications.
Is there any way to debug from portal?
I am trying to give a pop-up message in this enhancement which will restrict from saving an activity based on certain conditions. That pop-up is not coming.

Servlet output correct in ie and netscape, but not in portal

I have a servlet that retrieves and xml document, applies a
stylesheet, and uses PrintWriter to output the html.
When I run the servlet, the output is correct in ie and netscape.
So, I set the servlet up as a web portlet and have put it on a
portal page.
My problem: When I run the portal page, the mdashes and
rsquotes, etc. show up in portal as question marks.
I went into the provider.xml and added some information
(contentType,charset), but that had no effect.

I have been doing some research, and this appears to be some
sort of character encoding/unicode problem.
I have specified UTF-8 in my servlet. Does portal not work with
UTF-8?
Is there a setting somewhere that I can check in portal to
verify what character encoding it is using? (ISO-8859-1, US-

PortalApp working on Preview but not on Portal

Hi everybody!
I'm facing a real very strange situation. I've developed a PAR, which contains two Components. One of them calls the other using AJAX & Prototype. I've tried it on my own machine, and works perfect. I've upload the par to the server which will contain the Portal, created an IView for the par, a Page for the IView, and the preview works fine. But the page doesn't work on the portal. The AJAX request fails, and doesn't reach the server....
We're connecting the server via VPN.Can that be a problem?

If application works in Preview and doesn't work in portal page, it could be a permissions issue.
Did you check the application with same user in both places?
Previewing the iView with administrator rights is not the same as viewing it in portal with some standrard not-administrator-rights user.

Support Desk Message is Sent to SAP; But the status is not updated

Hi All,
We have Solution Manager 7.0 SP15 with Windows Server and Oracle.
Service Desk is configured.
One user has reported a problem from satellite system.
It arrived to Service Desk of Solution Manager.
The support team message processor changed the status to "In Process"
and asked sapadmin user(who can forward messages to SAP) to forward this message to SAP.
sapadmin user(SAP-OSS) has performed the action "Send Message to SAP" successfully.
But the status of the message is still "In Process". It didn't change to "Sent to SAP".
Question is:
1. Where and How to check the message is really sent to SAP or not?
2. Why the status is not changed to SAP? Is anything needs to be done yet?
I have checked this thread and performed the actions. But still it doesn't work.
Send support message to SAP, don't refresh info at service desk

I get different error now when the user try to do the action "Send Message to SAP".
The error is: "You do not have authourization to send notification to SAP".
The user has the following roles:

Z:M_SAP_SUPPDESK_ADMIN

Z:M_SAP_SV_SOLUTION_MANAGER
Z:SAP_MAINT_OPT_ADMIN
SAP Note 1140822 resolved this issue.
We are able to forward the message to SAP.

Issue while calling the RFC in SAP quality system but not in SAP Dev sys

Our scenario is FIle-RFC-File.
We are calling the RFC from XI system in Development environment. This is working fine in Development environment, but not in Quality environment.
This changes are moved/transported to Quality environment in both XI and SAP side. But we are getting the following error in Quality system:

Hi Ramesh,
This might be because your RFC adapter would not have been configured properly. Just do a check on it,in RWB(adapter monitoring) and activate it once more in ID.
Also check RFC comm. parameters such as host name/user id/password etc..
Also check whether your XML document is having a mismatch with your RFC XML.
Check with your payload ( from SXMB_MONI) and test it in your message mapping.

Idoc status 03 in SAP but in XI idoc not showing

Hi Experts,
in my SAP to file scenario, idoc is created successfully with status 03, but idoc is not coming to PI.
It is not happening always. some times, idocs are missing. But not able to find any error in PI.
Please guide me how to get the missed idoc.

this is old interface and it only gave issue this time. In ECC side, when I checked, out of 4 idocs one idoc is with 03 status and other three were with 39 status.
But all in green status. No error.
RFC destination and all are correct.
Actually I am not able to see the complete error text in TRFC . that message class is not maintained. Our functional team informed that they added XX text and re import idoc and it worked. Please suggest.

User Exit that will allow the SAP program to create DN, but not create IDO

The requirement is when we select 1 PO in VL10g transaction and click the u201CBackgroundu201D button, the user exit will allow the SAP program to create Delivery Number, but not create IDOC for the Delivery Number to send it to warehouse system. Also the created Delivery Number must be in changeable mode in ECC system .I need to find any exit to make the DN table field LIKP-VLSTK not to be u201CBu201D (distributed). The B will make DN not changeable in ECC system which is hard coded value in standard program. so the DN should be changeable.
Please suggest me the User Exit name which serves my purpose.

Be more specific on the problem you are facing so that the ppl here can help..
looks like your are trying to file to file scenario and the file is not generating at the target folder ...
then check the communication logs of the receiver adapter using RWB->CC logs..
post the error you have received there..

SAP MMC Says Dispatcher running but not connected to message server

I installed the ABAP Stack Sneak Preview Netweaver.I see all the relevant NSP entries in my Services file.But when i disconnect my internet I see in SAP MMC that Disptacher says its running but not connected Message Server(turns yellow) and also the SAP gets logged off. Is Internet connection required for running NSP(ABAP System SID)??
If I want to get rid of this internet dependency what settings i need to change ??

You haven't posted flow types 1150.
Please go to your transaction, select "Cash flow" tab, Choose layout "106 Posting view", select flow type 1150 (one from your first screenshot above - use flow type and date) and check "Posting status" field - what's inside (please, provide screenshot)?
