When i am creating requisition request under MSS, through from asking the Hiring manager personal number. Could you please help me how we can get that.

Not found that entry any of the search profile type in that table. Could you please let me know under which search profile need to to add?
These are all the search profiles i can see under that table:"ERC_CDCY" "ERC_REQ" "EXT_POST" "INT_CAND" and INT_POER.

Employee download in CRM5.0 miss personal number

Hi,
We recently upgraded CRM 4.0 to 5.0. We redownloaded all the employee records through the ALE process after following the upgrade instructions. The BPs successfully came over to CRM but missing the personal number in identification tab of BP under employee role. All the already existing employees after the redownload, get the personal number as 0. Prior to redownload it was fine.
Any help?

Hiring Manager in MSS Create Requisiton Request

Hi,
When creating a requisition request you can enter HIRING MANAGER in the pdf-form. Then after the form has been through the approval at the upper-manager and approved, the value from the field HIRING MANAGER is not transferred to the requisition's field "Hiring Mangager" under Basis Data that the Recruiter can see on the Recruiter's Dashboard: Requisitions in the Recruiter role.
My question is whether it is meant like this and HIRING MANAGER in the pdf-form is only used for finding the manager in the workflow (for the rule)? Or it is an error?
We are using BP for MSS EhP4 SP04 + ERECRUIT 604 SP04 + BP for MSS 1.41 SP04+ BP for Recruiter 1.40 SP04 + HCM_ERC_CI_3 + HCM_MSS_ERC_CI_1.

Hello smit ,
You can find out the enhancement ( BADI defnition ) that corresponds to MSS Requisition request .
Debugging the same will let you know why the error is coming .
You could also be due to config done under MSS -> recruitment.

MSS: PCR requests filed Hiring manager ???

We are working with ERP2004 MSS solution.
There is some ecruitement(e-recruitment) screen whee we have a field for Hiring manager.
This seems as same in old recruitment solution. But we are not able to identify how this field is coming on this screen..
anyone who has worked/working on MSS solution and using this service.. can you please help me out.

I think that there is not soultion. SAP told me:
Dear Maria ,
You have set the Maximum period, Minimum remaining shelf life and
Total shelf life as zero. I tested this on our internal test system
and when these are all set to zero the fields PROD & SLED are not
visisble in the Material tab in tcode MIGO.
The shelf life is only checked when you enter a goods receipt if the
following prerequisites are met :-
1.The minimum remaining shelf life is maintained in the material master
record or in the purchase order. The minimum remaining shelf life is theminimum number of days for which the material must keep for the goods
receipt to be accepted by the system.
2.The shelf life expiration date check is active for the plant and
movement type in Customizing for Inventory Management.In the
transaction SPRO,if you check in SAP Reference IMG
Material Management > Inventory management and Physical Inventory
> Goods Receipt > Set Expiration date Check,the SLExp/prDt field
is checked for plant and material movement

E-Recruiting - Hiring Manager field data is changing to 00000000 in job requisition

I am facing an issue with hiring manager search.
Am on a EREC standalone system. EHP5, SP0007.
HCM_ERC_CI_2 & 3 business functions are activated.
NB data is available in 5131 for US of hiring managers, 5152 support group also has hiring manager data is available.
1. Firstly, as a recruiter when I click on "Create by Position", after selecting the vacant position thro org.unit based search, the hiring manager field is not populated with any employee no. If am trying to search using Find Manager or Find employee option, no output is given.
So I manually give the Manager employee number, then hiring manager field is getting filled. After saving the requisition, when I come back and see the requisition in "All Requisition" query or "Open Requisition query" in the Manager column it is blank.
2. When I try to open the same requisition to edit, the Hiring Manager field is having value "00000000". Even after again manually giving the manager employee number and saving it and releasing it, if again we try to display/edit the requisition, the number vanishes and only zeros appear.
Please share your inputs on the possible cause for this problem.

I am workflow learner, I am having theoretical knowledge on it.
Now, I started to practice practically in my IDES server.
I am getting an error message while I am trying to save my standard task with my object type and method and event (which were already created in SWO1).
My error message details.....
Prefix number: entry missing for system EC5 client 800
Message no. 5W023
Diagnosis
Tasks, rules, and workflow definitions require an ID that is unique throughout all systems and clients. In this way, you can ensure that you can transport these objects from one system into another at any time (without restrictions). From a technical point of view, the uniqueness of the ID is ensured by what is known as a "prefix number". You can define a separate prefix number for every system and every client in table T78NR.
System response
If a prefix number is not defined in the client in which you are currently working, it is not possible to maintain (maintenance terminates).
Even I tried to create on entry in the table T78NR, but as that is standard table, I am unable to make an entry.
Hope we have to configure the workflow, I am not having any Basis consultant with me. Can anyone help to cross this problem.

I entere the same 980 in prefix number, and i dont know what to enter the Interval start and interval end and check sum.
Also there is some msg coming when i tried to manage some values, " NO Intervals can be reserved for this prefix number" - MSg No: 5W179.
Please gurus help me.

Upon opening to work on a party supply order DUE TODAY for a kid's first birthday I got this ERROR MESSAGE:

From personnel number to person number

Hi,
I do have user name and personnel number of an employee. How can I get the person number of this employee as it is used in address data, for example table ADR6? What's the link between personnel number and person number/address number?

personnel number and person ID number are two different Terms.
Personnel number is PERNR
When a new employee is hired, the system automatically creates the external person ID and stores it in the Person ID infotype (0709).
This is used majorly in the case of Concurrent employment

E-Recruiting EP4: How do you define a Hiring Manager?

I am test on how to create a requisition in EP4. There is field called Hiring Manager and a dropdown that has a search help Find Hiring manager or Find Employee. How do I define a Hiring manager so the search help will find it? Same question for the Recruiter field. How do I define a Recruiter so that the search help Find Recruiter will find that employee.

Hi,
this question is open for some days although the answer is quite easy. The search help in EhP 4 has this dropdown. If you choose "Find Employee" it will search for all employees (internal candidates) matching the entered name pattern in the system. If you choose "Find Hiring Manager" the system simply searches over every internal candidate already assigned to another requisition as hiring manager. (There might be some additional status logic on the requisitions taken in account) So as you go on maintaining requisitions the result list will be populated. Assumption here is that only a small amount of employees actually are hiring managers so the amount of entries searched can be reduced.
I personally prefere the option to use the personal list of favorites in this search help :o)

Logon as hiring manager.
Selecting a requisition, he can see all the candidates assigned. Clicking on the name of the candidate smartform# HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_CANDIDACY details are coming up as overview.

Please I need assistance. We are implementing SAP E-Recruiting EPH 3.0 and Go Live is next week. Some managers are having issues with completing the requisition request form due to the hiring manager field not defaulting with their ID.
All PA data are clean. I want to assume that OM data are equally clean but when the same manager selects other positions in the same org unit, their ids default.
We have ran the HRALXSYNC programme per manager and it was successful. However bank details (IT0008) are not for some expatriate managers. But the problem cuts across both direct and secondee managers.
Can some one please advise if there is any conditional parameter for positions to fulfill before hiring manager field defaults in the adobe form (simple requisition request).

In the "Org Assignmnet" info type of employee record there is an option to maintain Supervisor ID. You can check this option.

Personal Number deletion

Hi, I work in SAP HR ( 5 years ), mostly in Time Managment and now im learning some payroll stuff
Maybe you can help me with this concern, is there a way to see if a personal number was deleted by mistake, i mean, I have in QA boxes the personal number with payroll results and master data ok, but, in prodduction information "dissapear", the personal number do not exist anymore in PA20.

Person number in transaction MIRO

Dear Experts,
We have a the following process:
- A contract where Services are specified.
- A PO referred to the previous contract.
- This Purchase Order is assigned to a Person in transaction PA30, with the corresponding service.
- A process is carried out with CATS where service hours are notified.
- The Service Hours are invoiced via tx-MIRO. The system let us filter by PO and then, in the Lay Out, by choosing 7_6310 all information, we can see among other data the services assigned to the PO, Service Entry Sheet, Maintenance Order and the Person Number, but this last data is showed as 0, instead of the corresponding Person Number.
Does anybody know how to show the Person Number properly?
We would really appreciate any help relating this issue.

Yes, your understanding is correct.
Indeed, to assign a number range interval to a transaction type, it has to be defined in IMG: SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Number Ranges.
While doing this, you define also if this is an internal or external number range using check-box "Internal or external number range flag".
So, if you define an internal number range interval for a document category, there is no sense to assign this interval as an external one for a transaction type making part of this document category.
