    First one is quite big so I present only part. There are more columns with sales facts and product's features which was hidden to keep it more clear.
    What I need is to have a measure which describes a month other month sales. So for example:
    JAN 2014        JAN 2013    DIFF VS PY
    200 eur           150 EUR      1,333
    So the expected result is 1,33
    I wrote a measure:
    DIFF VS PY:=CALCULATE(SUM([SALES THS#EUR]),FILTER(PERIOD,MAX(PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR])))/CALCULATE(SUM([SALES THS#EUR]),ALL(PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR]),FILTER(ALL(PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR]),PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR]=MAX(PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR])-1))-1
    which works on Total, but not months. On a pivot table it looks like this:
    Row Labels
    SALES THS EUR
    DIFF VS PY

    How to correct the measure to work on months too?
    I have tried this but not working (returns blanks):
    Copy of DIFF VS PY:=CALCULATE(SUM([SALES THS#EUR]),FILTER(PERIOD,MAX(PERIOD[PERIOD NUMBER])))/CALCULATE(SUM([SALES THS#EUR]),ALL(PERIOD[PERIOD NUMBER]),FILTER(ALL(PERIOD[PERIOD NUMBER]),PERIOD[PERIOD NUMBER]=MAX(PERIOD[PERIOD NUMBER])-12))-12
    G.

    Try this:
    Sales:=
    SUM( 'PTV FLAT HITLIST'[SALES THS#EUR] )
    PY Sales:=
    CALCULATE(
    [Sales]
    , FILTER( ALL( PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] )
    , PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] = MAX( PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] ) - 1
    Sales vs PY Sales:=
    [Sales] / [PY Sales]
    This will work if you put PERIOD[MONTH NUMBER] on the rows under PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR].
    If you must keep PERIOD[DATE] on the rows, then you'll need to handle this a little differently. PERIOD[DATE]  uniquely identifies a month. This means that with the measures I have suggested above, the filter context will not be cleared from PERIOD[DATE]
    and so the filter context of CALCULATE() will be an impossible condition:
    On Row Label 2014-03, the filter context will be PERIOD[DATE] = 2014-03 && PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] = 2013.
    If you must keep PERIOD[DATE] as your rowfilter, try this:
    Sales:=
    SUM( 'PTV FLAT HITLIST'[SALES THS#EUR] )
    PY Yr Sales:=
    CALCULATE( [Sales]
    , FILTER( ALL( PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] )
    , PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] = MAX( PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] ) - 1
    PY Mo Sales:=
    CALCULATE( [Sales]
    , FILTER( ALL( PERIOD )
    , PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] = MAX( PERIOD[FISCAL YEAR] ) - 1
    && PERIOD[MONTH NUMBER] = MAX( PERIOD[MONTH NUMBER] )
    PY Sales:=
    IF( ISFILTERED( PERIOD[DATE] )
    , [PY Mo Sales]
    , [PY Yr Sales]
    Sales vs PY Sales:=
    [Sales] / [PY Sales]

  • Weird error message I got after changing my Access Log Settings

    "Try to refresh the view (localhost/Web). Report the problem to the administrator if it persists. (NILRESPONSEERR (* -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (0) beyond bounds (0)))"
    I can't seem to get into server admin to change back what I did. I copied access log settings from a known good working server and after hitting save I get this. Tried restarting with no luck.
    Anyone know where to start looking at? Ever encountered this before?

  • Shared pool advisory doubt !

    why col3 ( library cache size ) is bigger than the col1( shared pool size ) ? As we all know , shared pool include the library cache and dictionary cache , then , it should be the col1 is bigger than the col3 .
    anybody know why ? THS !

  • Random Peer Not Authenticated

    We've encountered a rather delicious problem that we believe might be a bug in JSSE. We have a URL with valid Verisign certificate. We have a Java client that uses Inovention's HTTPClient library which in turn is set to use Sun's JSSE for HTTPS. We can run for days with no problems and then all of sudden the client refuses to validate the server certificate, throwing a Peer Not Authenticated Exception. We turned on the -Djavax.net.debug=all flag and found that both the "good" and "bad" handshakes had completely identical request/response packets -- up until the point when somewhere deep Sun's JSSE code an ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception was thrown causing JSSE to think the certificate was not go (hence a Peer Not Authenticated Exception). We decomplied/recompiled JSSE with a few lines of debugging to print out a stack trace of the ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception, but it didn't really tell us much.
    Here is the unencrypted SSL handshake dump (plus extra debugging). We are completely baffled at this one and are thinking about trying a different SSL implementation.

    *** Certificate chain

    After much trial and error, it seems to have turned out that the JDK version was to blame. The code was running on an AIX box with the IBM JDK 1.2. After upgrading to the IBM JDK 1.3.1 (and still using Sun's JSSE 1.0.2), the problem went away.
    Unfortunately, after 4 months of no problems, the problem has mysteriously come back after server's machine was rebuilt (and hence received a new certificate).

  • Recent Contact Sync Trouble

    Hello all,
    I've recently began having trouble syncing my contacts and calendar (Outlook and Windows Vista 32).  The trouble begins shortly after attempting to sync with an error message of "Unable to read application data."  It happens in exactly the same area.  It will "read" all 193 of my contacts but will stop at "processing" 187 of 193 of those contacts.  Phone is a Curve 8320 with recently upgraded 4.5 os and DM v4.6, both downloaded from T-Mobile.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
    P. S. Thank you all so much for the help during my OS upgrade, even though you didn't know you were giving it to me.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi and welcome to the forums...
    Do you have any null values in your Outlook address book? You can usually find them by sorting by name and look for blank entries. Also, do you have a pictures associated with any of your contacts? (link to KB) If so, try removing the picture.
    If your Outlook address book is the same as your phone, you can do this next step.
    First, backup up your phone. If your address book is the same on both device and Outlook, use the BACKUP / ADVANCED and clear your address book on your Blackberry Handheld and re-sync. It should populate everything from Outlook to your BB.
    If that does not work or you have a discrepancy on the amount of addresses on the BB from Outlook, then you can clear (Backup first) your address book using the BACKUP/ADVANCED Gui and re-import your address book back onto your Blackberry Handheld using the Advanced Gui. This backup - restore will re-index the address book DB and can correct issues. Then try to re-sync.
    Let us know how your doing...

  • Macbook Pro Hi Res Screen 1440x900 instead of 1440x852

    I have a new 15" MacBook Pro with a High Resolution Screen.  I wan't the antiglare more than the high resolution, and I makes some things too small when I don't have my reading glasses.  I can set it to 1440x852, which is "OK", but why can't I set it to the reslution the non-high res screen uses (1440x900).  There is a bar of black at the top and the bottom, so I do waste a small bit of "real estate".
    Maybe not the most earth shaking problem, but something that bugs me....

    There is a fix!
    I have a 30 inch monitor running at 2560 x 1600 with my Mac Mini and the outrageous $99 adapter from Apple. (Found it new for $60 on eBay.)
    My menu bars and Google Chrome's tabs and bookmark bar were both way too small - like 4 point!
    TinkerToolSystem, (not TinkerTool) allows you to go into hidden preferences and re-set to "HiDPI." Afer making the adjustment which doubled my DPI, I had to choose half the resolution 1280 x 800, but with no loss of real resolution! Things did get bigger elsewhere but I was able to adjust most of them. Hooray! GL!
    Download the Evaluation copy of TinkerToolSystem. You get to open it 5 times for free.
    http://www.bresink.com/osx/300321023/Docs-en/pgs/System.html
    About halfway down, under "Screen."
    For Snow Leopard
    By default, Mac OS X assumes that the display screen is rendering graphics with a resolution of 72 pixels per inch. This policy was taken over from the classic Mac OS. While this basic assumption was true when the Macintosh was introduced more than 20 years ago, today's display devices often have a much higher resolution. The pixels have become smaller, so your screen may actually use e.g. 100 pixels per inch. In practice, this means that graphical elements, for example fonts, will be displayed too small, so a 12 point font selected in an application might no longer match the actual size of a 12 point font printed in a book when you compare screen and book side by side.
    To accommodate these changes, Mac OS X is capable of using arbitrary display resolutions. TinkerTool System allows you to change the resolution between 36 and 216 pixels per inch. If the screen display stays the same, the screen contents will be displayed larger when you set a higher resolution, and smaller when you set a lower resolution.
    For Lion and Mt.Lion
    Apple has removed the feature from the operating system that allowed to control the physical resolution of screen output by an infinitely variable factor. As of 10.7 or later, this function was replaced by the feature HiDPI (High Number of Dots per Inch) which allows to double the physical resolution only. This means you can select between the discrete values 72 ppi and 144 ppi (or 288, 578, … ppi in the far future). Other magnification steps or scaling down are no longer available. The HiDPI strategy allow OS X to be used on ultra-high-resolution screens (“retina displays”).
    Enabling the HiDPI feature requires two steps. The first step is to unlock HiDPI mode via TinkerTool System. The second step is to select one of the HiDPI display resolutions on the pane Displays ofSystem Preferences. Perform the following steps to work with HiDPI display modes:
    Select the item Screen in the pane System.
    Switch between the two possible modes Hide HiDPI resolutions and Display HiDPI resolutions.
    Log out to let the change take effect.
    When you log in again, you can launch System Preferences, go to Displays and choose one of the HiDPI settings shown in the table Display > Resolutions.
    WARNING: The display resolution is a very critical setting. If you set the resolution too high, the windows can become so large that they no longer fit on screen. This means you can no longer see or control all parts of some applications which can make your system unusable!
    To use the system with 144 ppi, a screen with at least 2048 x 1536 pixels is strongly recommended, because OS X applications are designed by the rule that they can expect windows to have a minimum size of 1024 x 768 pixels at 72 ppi.
    The Retina Displays may lead to a software update and then we will all be happy.

  • Looking for a high-res drawing app for the iPad

    I've tried a few of the available iPad drawing apps like Sketchbook Pro and Brushes. It's a little hard to tell, because documentation tends to be short on details, but it appears that most of them (with the exception of Brushes) only let you work and export images at 1024 by 768 resolution. That isn't really high enough resolution for professional work.
    Brushes is the only exception I've found. You work on the iPad in Brushes at 1024 by 768, but they have this OS X app that can convert your exported images to a higher res.
    To me that's crazy awkward and time-consuming, and I think Brushes is OK as a drawing app, but not necessarily what I'm looking for.
    Can anyone give me some better insight into the matter?
    Is there some underlying technical reason that all of these apps have a hard limit of 1024 by 768 resolution?
    Is there an app other than Brushes that can produce pro-level (high resolution) image files on the iPad?
    Thanks,

  • HT1222 I installed the most recent ITunes update after which Itunes no longer worked.. I received an error message   Error 7  Windows 193.  I did a system restore to eliminate the update.

      Apple support had not responded to my requests for clarification.  The update corrupted both ITunes and Office Outlook mobileme.  The error message when I tried to start up I Tunes was Error 7 Windows 193.  I un installed I Tunes and re installed the latest ver and encountered the same error message.  I finally did a system restore.  Was this a one time problem or is the update bad.  In over 30 years I'd never had a problem with any Apple update.

  • How to I get high res thumbnail images?

    Just discovered once I've imported images into my library Aperture 3.2.2 (running under 10.7.3) doesn't render high res thumbnail images (when the Browser Thumbnail Resize slider is set to the far right/maximum), even though my "Previews" preference settings are as follows:
    "Use embedded JPEG from camera when possible" is unchecked
    "Don't Limit" for Photo Preview is selected
    Photo Preview quality set to 10
    Deleting and regenerating thumbnails doesn't solve the issue. However, if I delete the photo from the referenced library, then reimport the image, the browser thumbnail image renders sharp. The low res thumbnail is at left; high res thumbnail (after re-import) is at right. Both thumbnails images are sharp when the Browser Thumbnail Resize slider is positioned in the middle. Photos render sharp in the Viewer, regardless.
    Going back through my images, it seems Aperture stopped providing a sharp thumbnail image since around July 2010. Other than updating Aperture, my workflow or supported camera hasn't changed. Couldn't find a reference to this issue in the User Manual. Am I missing something a setting somewhere?
    Thanks,
    Eric

    Its unclear if the command Generate Thumbnails actually does anything if the thumbs already exist and as there isn;t a Delete Thumbnails command like there is a Delete preview command there are only two ways to force a new thumb to be generated.
    One is to import the image again and two is to delete the Thumbnail folder in the Aperture library. I don;t know for sure if this will fix you problem but as I said it is the only way to force the generation of the thumbs.
    If you try this make sure you have a good working backup of the library. Nothing here will normally cause data loss but it is always a good idea before messing with the library.
    Quit Aperture, Highlight the library in the Finder and right click, Select show package contents. One fo the folders you'll see is Thumbnails, delete it. Open Aperture.
    Also be aware that the regeneration of the thumbs will take some time. Depending on the size of the library it could be an all day affair. Aperture is usable while this is going on but it will be slower.

  • How to change keyboard map fmrweb.res for different forms

    I'm using Oracle Forms 10g with Oracle Forms and Reports Application server 10g.
    I know how to change fmrweb.res to change how keys function on web forms. The problem I'm having is I only know how to assign the fmrweb.res file when connecting to the application server, which means all forms running on that session have to use the same keyboard mapping.
    I know you can change the defualt fmrweb.res for all the forms executed on the application server
    and you can change the fmrweb.res file in the URL like
    server/forms/frmservlet?Form=login.fmx&config=dataentry
    (where dataentry is defined in the formsweb.cfg file)
    and in the config section I have
    [dataentry]
    term=fullpath/fmrweb_new.res
    My question is, is there a way to pick a different fmrweb.res file based on the form?
    Can you specify multiple forms in the basexxx.htm file(basejini.htm) in the PARAM section like
    <PARAM NAME="serverArgs"
    VALUE="module=form1.fmx term=fillpath/filename1.res"
    VALUE="module=form2.fmx term=fillpath/filename2.res"
    VALUE="module=form3.fmx term=fillpath/filename3.res"
    VALUE="module=form4.fmx term=fillpath/filename4.res">
    Is there a way to pass term=fullpath\filename.res to the Oracle Forms Web Runtime process for each form using call_form, open_form, or new_form?

    Posiible approach (i now it sounds strange):
    Configure your enter-key to fire the KEX-EXEQRY-Trigger.
    In the dataentry-form-module: Overwrite the KEY-EXEQRY-Trigger so thtat is just does a NEXT_ITEM; .
    I know there may be other implications depending of the compelixity of your dataentry-form, but maybe this helps.

  • How come my PPT to PDF files look so awful (low res)?

    I have a powerpoint file that I need to save as a PDF. Originally, I had a lot of PNGs in the file because I need a transparent background, but each time I save the file as a PDF it looks horribly low-res (blurry, jagged edges-everything images should not be). All of my images are high quality and nothing is being scaled up. I have adjusted the settings in the PDF dialog box to be printer quality, and I've checked the "High Quality" setting checkbox.
    Next I thought powerpoint preferred JPGs, so I saved all my images in that format, but I'm still having the same result.
    Here's another plot-twist: saving the powerpoint file on a Mac gives me slightly better quality, but none of the hyperlinks work.
    What up?

    It may be the PNG with transparency. This is a classic problem with AA, though I thought it had been fixed. Older versions could not handle transparency. With PPT, PDF Maker changes the borders I think. That improves the PDF result without having to change some of teh options in the printer yourself. The resolution looks good, unless your problem is that of some colors and lines being impossible to see because of the 1200 dpi. I use the default resolution of 300 dpi (the default is 1200). I had problems with 1 pixel vector graphics that would be washed out when done with the 1200 dpi.
    If it is not the transparency, then there is a chance the problem has to do with this display resolution.
