Reschedule function in the DS Board

I have an order in the DS board which has 1 hr setup time and 4 hrs processing time, total order duration is 5 hours. My planning direction is Forward and scheduling mode in infinite. I want the order to start at 5 AM and end at 10 AM.
When I try to reschedule the order manually(right click, reschedule), and specify the time 5 AM, system starts the order at 4 AM and ends at 9 AM. Setup time is from 4 AM to 5 AM and the processing activity from 5 AM to 9 AM.
Basically the time I specify in the DS board is for the processing time or the run time which in turn is forcing the setup time to start at 4 AM. Is there anyway I can actually make the order start at 5 AM?
I can ofcourse
1) find out that the setup time is 1 hr and then schedule the order at 6 AM but for each order, the planner has to check the setup time in the order details and do this and some times order times run 260 mins etc. So it will be difficult.
2) Movethe order to exact time using drag and drop, which is not easy at all as you have to eyeball each order and still we can never get it to start at 5 AM exactly. We always overshoot or undershoot.
So is there a way to specify the time for the overall order and not just the processing activity?

The starting point for scheduling or rescheduling is the desired start or end date/time of the orders or
operations.Starting from the desired date/time, the system searches for a scheduling date/time in the set planning
direction for the last activity (backward planning direction) or for the first activity (forward planning
direction) of an operation or an order.
Request you to check whether you have defined backward scheduling or forward scheduling in the strategy profile.

The PowerBooks have an F-key that toggles mirrored and extended mode. My PB is loaned out right now but I think it was f7. The keycap has an icon on two overlapping rectangles, as I recall.

Using the SCXI-1600 for anything other than controlling a SCXI chassis is NOT supported by NI!
The SCXI-1600 is based on a 16-bit MIO board. There is some additional functionality that is not used while controlling the SCXI chassis. The SCXI-1600 has 8 analog input channels, 8 DIO channels, and 2 counters; there is no analog output support on this board. There is a 50-pin connector inside the SCXI-1600 that can be used to access all of these channels.
Through Daqmx and Internal I/O filtering you can access these channels trough software. There is no pin-layout available because we do not support this.

Install Splashtop2 on the PC and enable it to be controlled or ran from iPad or Reflection to simply allow iPad to serve as PC unwired monitor. With Splashtop and an Apple TV connected, you use the smartboard as usual, yet the PC and iPad can see the same content. The impaired child can even interact with the Smart Board via the iPad as if he were writing directly on the big screen. Erasing functions can be done by touching the Smart Board manual controls. Several variables are in play that cause this lack of functionality:
    Apple won't permit PC software that infringes its proprietary apps.
    Smart Board companies refuse to develop iPad apps because they feel threatened and are being replaced by iPads
    School districts think Apple TV is meant for copyright infringement and could expose them to safe harbor lawsuits
    Network administrators make it impossible to login Apple TVs because they don't want the streaming occurring
    Classrooms are not able to keep up with the technology of using the iPad

The problem i sthat the function in the custom folder evaluated by the Oracle fisrt and after that are evaluated the functions which sets the global variables from the parameters.
So if you open the workbook nothing selected but the global variables has set and the next time you got the result with the previos parameters.
If you change the parameters it wouldn't change the result set only if you refresh it again without changing the parameters.
This is not a good solution for using parameters in custom folders. As I know there is no good solution for this problem yet.

How to add the Note board web part to a page with powershell

Hi everyone,
I've been looking around everywhere but haven't seen it explicitly mentioned.
Does anyone know how to add the Note Board web part to a Team Site page, e.g. Non-publishing site, Left Zone, First webpart in the zone in powershell?
Examples like this one http://adicodes.com/adding-web-part-to-page-with-powershell/ only talk about custom web parts uploaded from a local drive.
The example here looks good - http://spcrew.com/blogs/lists/posts/post.aspx?id=21 but is it for the Page Viewer Web Part. How would you go about getting the correct name for the note board web part and configuring it?

The name of the Note Board web part is SocialCommentWebPart.

Is it possible to lock out the Key Board commands in Keynote?

Is it possible to lock out your key board actions in Keynote? This happened all of a sudden. My keyboard has no effect on my trying to change text colors or enter characters. By using the mouse to add text the text box appears but I cannot change the character color.I can change it with the mouse and the new color is displayed but when I type nothing appears as the default color is white and the background is white. I did a copy and paste from a previous slide and I can enter the line to start editing but nothing appears. Nor can I delete anything with the Key board. This is only happening in Keynote. If I use the Key Board to send an email everything works fine. Can type and use the delete button so it seems that the Key Board is fine with other Apps, this is just happening in Keynote. It seems like the Key Board actions are not taking place, it is as if the Key Board is locked out of the Keynote functions.

Try resetting Keynote as follows:
remove Keynote version 6.5, you must use an application removal tool for this procedure to work: Appcleaner is free, I use Appzapper
empty the trash
Shut Down the Mac (Apple menu > Shut Down)
wait 10 seconds, then press the power button
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key, release the Shift key when you see the grey Apple screen
start up will take a few minutes longer than usual as the Mac is performing a repair routine
restart the Mac normally, (don’t hold down any keys during startup)
install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Aiex1 doesn't work for the acquire board

Hello everybody,
I have to test differents cards with the MHDDK.(6509,6703 and 6220).
The examples supplied by Ni works good for the two first cards but I have some problemes for the MSeries 6220.
The example aiex1 seems to be different from the others.
The problem is that my device isn't recognize(error accessing the PCI device).
The example aiex 1 contains just the test function (where is the acquire board?????, where is the initMite function????)
So I create a new aiex1 with the function initMite and the main that contains acquire board and in which I call the test function.(like aoex1 for the 6703)
But I think there is a problem in the acquire board ( what is the Id number for the PCI 6220?). I found the id number 70b0. Is it right???
Someone could help me??

Hi Stephanie-
You can view the file main.cpp to find the initMite and acquireBoard functions. Each of the device examples has a test() function which main.obj links against to create the individual executables. You should not need to create a new aiex1.cpp that includes initMite and acquireBoard.
0x70B0 is the correct product ID for the PCI-6220, but you should not need it to run the examples. Locate the bus and device numbers for your board by viewing /proc/bus/pci/devices and /sys/bus/pci/devices. The entries will be listed in the same order in both, so you can find the product ID in /proc/bus/pci/devices and then locate its bus and device numbers in /sys/bus/pci/devices. See chapter 12 of Linux Device Drivers, Third Edition for more information about these entries.
Then you just need to edit main.cpp to reflect the bus and device number (PXI::<bus>::<device>) and it should work.

I very much appreciate the help, and I have looked over this
code, inserted the action script in the keyframe where the video
resides, but I'm at a loss at what part I change to enable a js
function to occur. Specifically, I want a "Next" button not to be
activated (functional) until the last frame of the video is played.

The Logic Board of my MacBook Pro Retina Display stopped working.

I purchased my MacBook Pro Retina Display 13 months ago. Barring a few errors the computer functioned beautifully, and I maintained it with the care it deserved. On Wednesday, last week, the laptop ceased to work completely. It wouldn't start, or charge. On submitting it for repair, I was informed that the logic board failed. Since its warranty lapsed a month ago, $1050 is required for its replacement. That outrageous amount is more than half of what I paid initially for the laptop. The service provider would not agree to any concession, or plea.
For an Apple enthusiast, it is very disheartening to learn that its foremost product stops operating in this manner. I am a high school senior, who has accustomed himself to his computer, and cannot at this time purchase a new laptop, let alone a Windows laptop. With college admission deadlines fast approaching, I solicit your help and suggestions, very desparately.

As much as it will suck to hear this answer, there really is no solution. Because the computer is now out of warranty, you have to pay the full $1050 to get the logic board replaced. I know this is a large sum of money, but you have to remember that the logic board includes the CPU, Graphics Card and RAM, all soldered onto the board. You're paying to replace all of the most expensive components of your computer, even if only one of them failed.
So, long story short, you'll have to either pay to replace the logic board, because it's out of warranty, or buy a new computer.

The Signal analysis functions of the DIAdem-CAL can not use.

I use a DT3003 board for Data Acquisition in my system. My data is signal of Electromyography,and it needs the DIAdem-CALC "Signal Analysis" such as FFT.But these functions in my DIAdem are disable, Why?

We do need Frequency Analysis.The EMG is some kind of time-voltage signal.DIAdem do us great help in data sampling.We need to get information such as Average Amplitude, spectral parameters like Mean Power Frequency,Median Frequency from the raw EMG. Is "Signal Analysis" function of the DIAdem standar version able to full fill our demands?

Is is the BIOS or the system board?

Hi. I have a pc manufactued by a deceased company named Quantex. The pc has a MSI MS-6199VA
system board with W6199VAFD v3.3 121799 Bios, an Intel P6C (Coppermine) Pentium III 733Mhz
processor and a VIA Apollo Pro 133 chipset.
I have been having some trouble with the pc over the last month. It has an nVidia GeForce 256 video
card and around the middle of October I updated my install of Norton SystemWorks from NSW 2002 to
NSW 2003 as well as updating the nVidia drivers to the latest version (40.72). Things have not been the
same since. I started getting random system freezes and 0D or 0E Fata Exceptions as Windows 98SE
was starting to initialize and display the desktop and Windows signon. I was always able to restart in
Safe Mode, but not always able to get around the Fatal Exception in normal mode.
Over the course of the next month, the pc never really attained stability. Sometimes it ran fine for a while,
then would just freeze. I started backing up more often and got PowerQuest Drive Image for disaster
recovery purposes. I already had a tape drive, but sometimes the tape backup software would
freeze/stop functioning in the middle of a backup.
I then got a larger hard drive, so that I do Drive Image backups to HDD rather than CD-RW. I got an
ATA-100 80 Gb drive but did not yet install it.
This past week I checked your website to see if I could find any additional information about my BIOS
and if it would support the new hard drive. I saw that I was on v3.3 and that you have v3.5. It also
appeared to me that v3.5 was needed for the new drive. It also seemed to me that my issues could be
hardware (ie, system board) related.
Anyway, I used your v3.5 BIOS update utility to backup my existing BIOS. Double checked my system
board and chipset and then tried the v3.5 update. The flash update did not write completely (out of the
two full rows of white progress boxes around 6 of them were blue). I restored the original bios and
regained some function. However, I can no longer even get through the CMOS setup without the pc
freezing.
I have reseated all cards and the processor as well as trying only one memory chip at a time. Nothing
has changed the behavior. I even reflashed the v3.5 BIOS, this time with a clean update (all white
progress boxes). Still no stability.
I am just looking for some advice. It my system board gone? Was it going or did I destroy it with the bios
update? Since my original equipment manufacter is no longer in business I have nowhere to go for
hardware support. Is it possible to find a replacement system board or better to cut my losses and get a
new pc. I am fairly pc competent but not to the point where I would swap out a system board on my own.

On Friday I decided to take everything apart; including removing the system board and then put it all back together. Believe it or not, without any repairs since I last replied in this forum, my pc is now somewhat revived. It appears as though my problem might have been that the processor was not completely seated in the slot. Does that make sense? The freezing during CMOS setup or OS startup has completely disappeared.
There are still some stability problems and there also appears to be a BIOS issue.
I think the stability problems are from corrupt OS files (Win98 SE) and I am thinking the only recovery for that is to reinstall. Nothing like a perfect opportunity to move this hardware to Windows 2000.
Now for the BIOS question. This board is an MS-6199VA. The BIOS is W6199VMS v3.5 100200 with BIOS ID of 01/01/2000-692-596-W977-2A6LGM4BC-00. At the tail end of the BIOS startup I get the following..
CMOS Checksum error - Defaults loaded.
Warning! CPU has been changed.
Please re-enter CPU settings in the CMOS setup and remember to save before quit.
Press F1 to continue or DEL to enter CMOS setup
I have gone through all the CMOS setup options, set them, changed some; like disabling a serial port and setting up a power on password, and save them. Yet I still get this message every time.
Other than halting the startup until I press F1 or DEL there seems to be no other negatives. Am I missing something or is there a storm coming?

is it possible to interface LABVIEW to a test board in such a way that the input, output pins of an op amp (8, 10, 14, 16 pin opamps) are identified automatically when DUT is placed in the socket

The first thing you need to do is ensure that +VCC, -VCC, and GND are always connected to the correct pins. I think the best way to do this is have preset wire options that you manually select with some switches (reduces the complexity of the LabVIEW controlled wire switching).

1. Identify In/Out pins & number of op-amps. What is the sequence for this??? What voltages do you apply to the various pins and what is your desired outcome??? Planning the full measurement sequence and requirements before you start will not only help guide your program's development but it will tell you which DAQs are useful and how many you will need.
This is quite an undertaking and we can't really provide any help on the LabVIEW end until you have a full write up of what you want to happen and how (step-by-step details). Once you have that, start thinking about the sequence of events your code will have to follow to make it happen, then come back for guidance/help.

I ended up finding the answer to my problem. After pointing a client directly at one of the DPS systems, I saw the following error in the logs:

That is because the code on your phone has not been authorised to get the latest FW update. Either an operator is not passing it yet or its country specific.
The best way to get a quick response is to use the boards. Please do not be offended if I don't answer emails immediately.
