Reservation list

Hi experts,
The issue is certain reservations are showing as open ever the process orders were technically completed.
I need a report which gives the list of open reservations whose process orders were technically copleted.
could some one advise?

Dear,
You can find it via MB25.
Here you can reservation list for material code wise, plant wise stc.
In which if final issue indicator is not tick, So consider issue has not been done against this reservation.

Are you having the planned order for all the products for 1 year period?
In my understanding even if planned order exists this may not be a firmed one and so why do you need the reservation list
alone for all these planned order's?

*MB25, Reservation list (History) is not generated.*

Problem: When Running MB25 by searching GOOD RECIPIENT, user's can't get
the reservation list history before 2012 as usual. The Problem has been noticed
beginning of Feb. 2012.
But in the system that material documents has been created against the reservation number.
(In MSEG entry is available against the reservation number but reservation number is not showing in RESB)
Note:
we didn't do any archiving process in the system.
This issue is manual and automatic reservations.

I hadnt completed my initial question when the thread was posted!
I am trying to create a 'pick list' so that the warehouse can 'pick' available stock to an open reservation. We had a bespoke interface that sat on top of SAP that did all of the SAP transactions at a push of a button. However, due to the size of our data, any generic search for open reservations caused the SAP server to max out at 100% and slow the system to a halt.
So, I am trying to replicate the 'pick list' in a simple query. I am using Quick Viewer to do this. However, whne I link the tables, I get no data. I need help in linking the tables in a logical manner to get the info displayed.
The tables and fields I have been using are:
RESB - RSNUM
RESB - RSPOS
RESB - BDTER
RESB - MATNR
RESB - BDMNG
RESB - MEINS
RESB - WERKS
RESB - LGORT
RESB - ENMNG
RESB - SORTF
RKPF - PS_PSP_PNR (only table and field I could find the WBS element data)
RKPF - WEMPF
MKPF - BKTXT (we use this field in system to display the WBS and Sort string together)
MARA - MATNR
MARD - LGPBE
LQUA - VERME
I am missing additional bin info if stock is held in more that 1 location (we use the default bin as a putaway info)
I also have a problem with data repeating 4 times. We have 4 storage locations per plant (we have 3 plants that have warehouses) but even when I enter the storage location I still get the data repeating 4 times. Is this because the table is in the wrong place (not linked to right table)
I would hope that once the data is displayed, it can be printed via SAP. I do not really want to export to excel and print from there.

MB25- Hold/ allocated items on reservation list is not reflected on stock

Hello,
We have reservations on MB25. On the list we see the material qty reserve. But on mm02 or mmbe the materials reserved are not accounted for and also we do not get warning about issuing materials that are already reserved
For example we have a 10 items of "A" in Stock. We reserve 5 "A" items for later use, but another request may occur and we issue 8 "A" items now. We do not get a warning that about the reserved items and we will be able to issue our the 8 "A" items.
Is there a way to resolve this issue of getting a warning if materials are issued even though reserved and to see the reserved items on MM02/ MMBE.
Right now we are just using MB25 more as a flag indicator that items are reserved.
Please help.

Check in that reservation did Movement allowed check box checked or not through MB22 ???
This will restrict the reserved quantity like restrict issue.

Reservation list - Maintenance Orders

Dear Experts,
Is it possible to get the list of reservations which are created from Maintenance Orders based on the created date? ( not Requirement Date)
I want to list down the reservations created against Maintenance orders on a given date.
I checked MB24 / MB25 which is having Requirement Date not Creation date.
Please advice a standard report.

Hello Ashok,
I do not think you will get any such report where Reservation Creation date is available. Even if you want to develop a report with the help of tables, this too is difficult, because no such table holding this field is seen. If someone succeeds to develop such report, he must have used tables for change documents. (JCDS, CDHDR, CDPOS etc)

Hello All
For the open material reservation after executing the transaction MB25 for the given Requirement period from date to to date some of the Reservation are missing in the out put of report even tho their requirement date lies in between selection date & reservation are opened

As Jeevan has said. Go to OPL8 for the order type you are creating production order in the tab Purchase requisition maintain as 3 for "Reservation/Purch.Req." So as soon as your order is created your reservation number will be created. And the reservation number you can see in MB25. If you want reservation number to be created after releasing then maintain it as 2.

MB1A u2013 Batch determination by reservation number list

Hi All,
I am posting the document u2013 Good issue to reservation number with extended selection parameter with 261 movement type.
Step1) MB1A transaction u2013 Click on reservation number Pop appears u2013 Mark extended selection and Enter material.
Reservation list appear for that materialu2026
Step 2) Selected multiple line item and then ADOPT / As the material stock is available in different batches
Step3) Now I am trying the batch determination, at the first line item/ reservation number batch determine happened and its pick qty properly and also select the correct batch number.
Problem: When I tried the batch determination for another reservation number, it again select the same batch number and not determine the batch and appear the error.
I want here batch should determine for different reservation number in the same transaction.
Please help us any setting for determine the batch in the same transaction - MB1A

Reservations not showing in MD04

Hello,
I have three reservations with movement type Transfer within plant 311 which is transferring stock from storage location A to B.
These three reservations do not show up in MD04 stock requirements screen but show up in Transaction MB25(Reservation list Inventory Management) as open reservations.
I have checked that both the storage locations are not excluded from MRP through MMSC and in "Define storage location MRP per plant"
Can you please help me out with this issue?

As Vivek said transfer requirements b/n Sloc's are seen in MD04 only if the Sloc is excluded or planned seperately i.e. have 1 or 2 in MRP-4 view for Sloc MRP indicator as it is deducted from one storage location and add to the second one.in such case
as i have same scenarion and in MD04 it is showing.
check in MMBE

PO against reservation

hi all,
i got few reservations in reservation list automatically through plant maintenance order....
but the stock is nt available of those materials....
how ths communication goes to purchaser that he has to procure the material.....
is there ne way to convert the reservation in PO or create the purchase order against reservation????

Reservation is a process just a formal request to stores depT to arrange for the mentioned material on particular day thru MB21 & MB25 t codes.You have to generate PO manually against these reservations.

Reservation in Material Document

Hi all,
I am facing with and issue related to Reservation.
Problem Defination.
In the Material document List for a particualar MAterial i am able to see the Reservation no.
i.e a material has been issued against a reservation so material document is created and in mateiral document in reservation tab i am able to see the reservation no also.But when i am double clicking on that reservation ,it is taking me to display reservation where i am getting message

Diagnosis
The reservation you entered does not exist in the data base.
Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
Choose the input help in the "Reservation" field to search for a reservation for a material or an account assignment.

It has to be noted that in the reservation tab in the material document .
The requirement quantiy is " 0 "
Withdrawal Quantity is " 0"
Whereas the Material document which has been posted against the reservation is for 10 quantity.
the requirement quantiy should have been 10 and withdrawal quantity should have been 10 because the reservation i have made is of 10 quantity.
I have checked the reservation list ,the reservation is not there too.
Please help me on this issue

Goods Issue against Reservation (Error in MB1A)

Hi All,
While doing Goods Issue (MB1A 261 Mov type) against Reservation for Production Order, even if Reserved qty and entered qty is same, we are getting the error message "Entered Qty is more than Reserved Qty for material".
But for that particular material , in CO03, in Component Overview, different line items are there with different batches. So in reservation list, with same reservation number, different line items are there for that particular material having different batches. But in MMBE, for each batch, stock is available
Please help to resolve this issue.

What is the error message that you are getting?post the error no and class,just double lcik on the error message and check the
diagnosis for the same error message.
Are the components batch managed materials?check in CO03 in the top menu>goto>documented goods movements,check
whether already some goods movements has been performed

Hardware reserved memory in Windows Server 2008 R2 x64

I have 162 GB of memory installed in my Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit server. However, it is showing 32GB is hardware reserved. I've reseated the memory chips to no avail. Any suggestions on what I could do to be able to use the 32GB
of memory?

I realise this is an old thread however while searching for a solution to my problem related to memory being hardware reserved this thread continually popped up in my search results so this
seemed a good a place as any to post my answer.
I lost a whole day's production at my company so would have loved to find the answer quickly.
Firstly I am running Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise Edition
I have 96 GB of RAM installed and up until a routine scheduled reboot the night before all was running normally with only 60Mb or so in the hardware reserved list.
The following morning I was notified that no one could connect to any of the VM's that normally run on this machine.
Further inspection showed they were all stopped and that only 4GB of RAM was available to the host operation system, shown in Task Manager. Resource Monitor showed that all remaining RAM (~94GB) was listed as "Hardware Reserved"
I don't think it would have mattered how much RAM I had. All but 4GB would have been reserved.
After many hours on the phone with my Hardware Vendor and with Microsoft (paid support call) Microsoft recommended that I remove my License Key and Reinstall it again then reactivate.
Note: Not a single indication anywhere that my server was not activated or licensed correctly.
Actually no error messages of any significance at all.
Surprise, Surprise this solved the problem. I had found absolutely nothing about this problem anywhere on the net.
The Microsoft technician said there were other cases of this problem on their internal database.
The steps to remove and reinstall the license key are listed in the following article

The actual steps performed on my server were
slmgr /upk (uninstall product key)
slmgr /cpky (clear registry setting)
slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx (Your Product key goes here, dashes included)
slmgr /rilc (re install liencecse file)
slmgr /ato (automatic updates)
Reboot the Machine
I hope this post helps someone solve their problem quicker than it took me.
