My quesion is....what shoud I do to fix this issue...should I put the quantities = 0 or should I delete the lines from the table or what should I do???
Hope you can help me out with this....

Hi Daniel,
May be there are orphan reservations.
Run i1807561.sql to remove any old reservations

• Exam results not updated on Oracle CertView

I have passed the following exam :
1z0-052 - Oracle 11g Administration I
in October 22 . The exam results are posted in my PearsonVUE account , but not updated in Oracle CertView acount . Only my previous exam ( 1z0-051 , which was in March ) details are there .
I have contacted ( a web-form ) Oracle Certification Support two days ago and they never responded.
My OCA certification is processed only after this exam is updated. How to resolve this ?

It is obvious that Oracle would verify candidates attendance in the Instructor Led Training.
But how many days it takes from Completion of Track Exam and actually receiving certification ?
I have raised SR : 22787267 for getting OCP Logo as its more than 3 weeks that I have received OCP Success Kit.
Can some one from the Certification Team provide answer to this as I'm being constantly asked where I work about the actual Certification.
Can Oracle find a middle way out to such issues as this may be faced with many alike ?
Much Appreciate Your Time !

Edited by: user10268116 on Nov 16, 2011 2:37 PMThis is somebody else's thread.... the subject is certview ... it is not obvious from this thread you are talking about certview.
It would probably be better if you are in your own thread.
Is it that you have access to certview and your certification doesn't show there, or is it that you haven't recieved your certification success kit in the post?
It you register on http://certview.oracle.com you can publish your certification credrentials via email from Oracle Certview to thrid parties who ask.

• Reservation not updating at the time of over delivery

Hello Experts,
At our client place over delivery is activated in production orders.
At the time of confirmation , system is allowing for doing the GR of over delivered material.
But at the time of GI, system is not calculating the raw material for over delivered material.
For example:
We have the order for 10 FG, we have 50% over delivery.
we are doing the GR of 15 FG , but at the time of MIGO/MB26 system is calculating the ROH for 10 FGs only.
Kindly guide how to correct the process.
Regards
Naveen

Dear ,
If you are delivering 15FG where as 10 FG is your ordering Qty then you must be consuming extra components and operation hrs physically as well in SAP system you need to update the same against the production order .
,did you add that extra Component in Production Order -Component Over view or did you add that extra man hours directly in Operation hrs in Operation Overview screen in CO02 ??
Even you have over delivery of 50% , you should have upadted component , hit the cost calcualtor and assing them to respective ooeraiton in CO02 and capture the same in Production Order reservation number ( Check in MD4C or MB25 wether your extra materials are under same reservation or not ) so that Store can issue the extra material for over delivery in MIGO-261 and CO11N -extra man hrs can be posted .Once you did this , check in Production Order -CO02-Extras-Cost-Costing trend
You will find the planned and actual cost with variance .Check in CO02-Goto-Documents Goods Movement -It will refelt the cost of materil (261/101)
Hope it is clear .

• Information in the case folder is not getting updated in Oracle Credit Mgt

Hi,
I have created an SO and an Invoice for this SO for a particular customer. Now, when I create a credit application and a case folder in OCM for this customer, Fields like Receivables Balance, Credit Exposure, Days Sales Outstanding etc. in the case folder are not getting updated. These fields are not getting updated even after refreshing the case folder. It means that the information from the 'Receivables Responsibility is not getting updated in the case folder.
I have already run the 'Initialize credit Summaries' concurrent program after creating the Sales Order and Invoice.
PS: The case folder gets updated only when I set the Profile Option: "AR: Allow summary table refresh" to Yes and then running the "Refresh AR Transactions Summary Tables" concurrent program. But once this program runs the Profile Option again becomes 'No' (Which is a Standard functionality).
So this is a manual way to update the case folder. My requirement is that the case folder should get updated automatically and no manual intervention should be required.

• Open quantity in Sales Order did not update after cancelling Reserve Invoice

Client created Credit Memo with reference to Reserve Invoice but this did not update the open quantity in Sales Order. Client is using SAP B1 8.82 PL9. I tested this in SAP 9.0 and still same behavior. Is there a work around other than creating another SO?
I checked Document Settings and "Reopening Doc by creating credit memo based on Doc" is enabled.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. How will the client be able to make new reserve invoices from the SO? They are trying to make partial reserve invoices from the sales order. I already suggested to just change the quantity in the reserve invoice before adding. But I have doubt because the SO might close prematurely before they complete the quantity in the SO because open quantity is much less then the quantity in SO.
SO Quantity: 100
Open Quantity: 40
Reserve Invoice 1: 60
Reserve Invoice 2: 40
SO closes before they can make Reserve Invoice 2

• Update Results not Displayed in Oracle Text search with Transactional Index

Hi,
I am working on a solution utilising Oracle Text to give me a probable list of matching records. The problem I have the table I am searching on is prepopulated with seed data and the application we are building is assigning a record and updating the details(columns) against it. This detail is what we are searching on using an Multi Column Datastore index which is refreshed every hr and also has the transactional parameter specified. Unfortunately the Transactional Index does not pick up the updated details, it only seems to work if I insert a new record (which will never happen). This to me sounds like a bug. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Barbara,
I think you may have eluded to my problem. I haven't updated the "dummy" column
The table structure is as follows:
CREATE TABLE WAGN (
WAGN VARCHAR2(8) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
last_name          VARCHAR2(240),
first_name          VARCHAR2(240),
middle_name          VARCHAR2(240),
date_of_birth     DATE,
gender               VARCHAR2(1),
status               VARCHAR2(1) NOT NULL,
signature          RAW(64));
The preference creation is:
BEGIN
ctx_ddl.create_preference('WAGN_NAME_SRCH', 'MULTI_COLUMN_DATASTORE');
ctx_ddl.set_attribute('WAGN_NAME_SRCH', 'columns', 'last_name, first_name, middle_name, date_of_birth, gender');
END;
The Index Creation statement is:
CREATE INDEX wagn_srch_idx1 ON WAGN(signature) --Dummy Column
INDEXTYPE IS ctxsys.CONTEXT
PARAMETERS ('DATASTORE WAGN_NAME_SRCH SYNC(EVERY "SYSDATE+60/24/60" PARALLEL 10) TRANSACTIONAL');
And a typical update statement is (contained with PL/SQL):
UPDATE WAGN
SET status = x_wagn_assigned_status,
last_name = p_employee_details.last_name,
first_name = p_employee_details.first_name,
middle_name = p_employee_details.middle_name,
date_of_birth = p_employee_details.date_of_birth,
gender = p_employee_details.gender
WHERE WAGN = l_wagn;
So my guess is that because the dummy column (signature) is not updated it is not being reflected in the transactional memory area.

• Patch Oracle 9.2.0.6 on linux with Jan 2006 CPU - inventory not updated

Hi,
We have tried to apply the Jan 2006 CPU (4751921) patch to Oracle 9.2.0.6 running on linux (redhat AS 4). The Apply log reports:
Patch 4751921 has been applied successfully.
... but then when trying to Update inventory it reports:
INVENTORY PROBLEM: Patch 4751921 is not present in Oracle Home inventory.
OPATCH_JAVA_ERROR: Patch was not successfully applied.
Verification of the patch failed.
ERROR: OPatch failed as verification of the patch failed.
This seems like the patch has been applied, but it can't update the inventory.
Followed the preinstall steps regarding the "Inventory Problem", including running checkinv.pl to clean up the inventory. This does clean up the dangling inventory.
Reran the opatch for 4751921, same output.
Tried running: opatch apply -verbose for 4751921, and it reports that the patch was succesful, no complaints about the inventory; yet an: opatch lsinventory does not show 4751921.
Without the inventory being correct, presumably we will continue to have problems like this with future patches; but the software has been patched and seems to run fine.
Any way to rebuild the inventory file?
thanks.

We had a similar (but not the same) error and we were suggested by Oracle to set the following environment variables before running opatch:
export OPATCH_DEBUG=YES
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib
export SHLIB_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib32
export SHLIB_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/jre/1.4.2/lib/PA_RISC:$SHLIB_PATH
export SHLIB_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/jre/1.4.2/lib/PA_RISC/server:$SHLIB_PATH
cd <patch directory>
opatch apply -jdk /opt/java1.4
The directories may be different depending on implementation, o/s. etc.

Chandan

• OEM - Oracle Job Status Not Updated

Hi all, on the OEM I have some job scheduled for export and for backup (rman).
Normally everything is ok, but now, after installing SP1 of Windows Server 2003, I can see the job starting but never finish. In reality the job is finished and I can see it on the output file.
Seems to be that on the OEM the status of the job is not updated.
This is a Fail Safe installation of Oracle 9.02 patch set 04.
Please advise.
Cheers.
Franco

Hold on, I am sure there is some confusion going on here. The registry settings are using used if there is a problem with refreshing planning, I thought the problem relates to business rule status not being updated?
If you want to understand about processing rules in the background then you can take a look at :- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/hp_admin/ch02s07s06.html
This may not resolve your isssue, maybe there is a communication issue somewhere.

• ADF master-detail master selection not updating detail tables properly

Hi All,
I am using JDev version : 11.1.2.0.0
I created new Fusion Web Application Module. In that module I created a master-detail data model and added them to a page fragment with a query panel. When I run it as a separate module, It works perfectly and Master selection correctly updates detail tables.
But when I integrate that module to another Fusion Application(Add application jar file to the Master Application libraries), Master-details master selection not updating detail tables properly. This problem occurred sequentially.
The problem is that.
After the page load, first selection of the Master Table works correctly and detail tables update correctly.
But second selection doesn't work, means detail table doesn't get update according to the Master table.
And again in the third selection works correctly.
This happens in a sequential manner. I monitor the behavior using Firebug. Observations are as follows,
When running correctly, Response of the Post Definition is
<partial-response><changes><update id="pt1:t1">

<div style="position:relative; I could not figure out what went wrong when integrating to another module.
Can you please help me to rectify this problem.

Hi,
sound to be an implementation specific issue that is hard to comment on without knowing how to reproduce it. If you have a rerooducible test case based on the Oracle HR schema using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, zip it up, rename the "zip "extension to "unzip" and sent it to the mail address you find in my OTN profile. If you don't have that test case, explain how this can be reproduced

• Background job not updating data for some steps of program

We have created a custom program and submitting the standard program RPRCCC_READ_KR1025
which is used for conversion of AMEX credit card files.
Since this program can update data for 1 company id at a time,we have created a background job
for that program with 10 steps and 10 variants of data related to 10 different company codes.
when this job is executed it is not updating data for all the 10 files , sometimes it updates 5,7,etc...
If we execute the other files which didnt update in job manually they are getting updated.
All the files executed with that program can be seen in PRTA transaction.
Regards,
Gautham.
Edit: Solved.
Since the standard program updates the database every time with commit work
there should be some time until the next database update,so we can use wait command
after the submit statement which will do the trick.

Hi,
I mean B(Sub Assembly)
Item Rollup Flag
A No
--B                       Yes
---B1 No
---B2 No
---B3 No
--C                      Yes
In this case when we run cost rollup by giving item A, Oracle will consider below structure.
A
--C

the comments about the NULLBLE column are as follows:
"Specifies whether a column allows NULLs. Value is N if there is a NOT NULL constraint on the column or if the column is part of a PRIMARY KEY. The constraint should be in an ENABLE VALIDATE state."

Hi,
Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
It says:
"NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."

• Mobile Sync not update the client or remote store after first sync

Subject: OracleLite 9i does not update the client or remote store during synchronization with a Windows CE device
After the first synchronization, neither the client or remote stores are updated on future synchronization when the publication is created with the fast refresh option. If the publication is created with the complete refresh option, the server will update the client, but the client cannot update the server after the first synchronization. That is once the database (.odb) file is downloaded from the server on the first connect, no updates to either the client, or server are performed for a publication created with the fast refresh option, and only the client store is updated when the publication is created with the complete refresh option. These result are obtained whether I use MSync via Microsoft Active Sync, or I use the Embedded VC++ program I wrote to initiate the synchronization from the Windows CE device.
I am 99% sure the JAVA code that I am programmatically creating the publications with, and the Embedded VC++ code for initiating the synchronization from the Windows CE device are correct. Both programs adhere exactly to the example code provided either in the documentation, or in the sample code shipped with OracleLite 9i Release 5.0.1. My conclusion is that there is a problem with Oracles replication programs either on the Windows CE, or Server side, or both. This conclusion on my part is strongly supported by the fact that MSync operating with Microsoft Active Sync behaves exactly the same as my code that initiates the replication from the Windows CE device. Also, by looking through the discussion forum, I gather that others are experiencing similar, if not identical, replication problems.
To support my contention that it is a Oracle problem, I have prepared a simplified version of the Embedded VC++ code to initiate the synchronization for the CE device, and the JAVA code for creating the publication. This code duplicates the problem and is easy to follow. You may download the zip file containing code via the link https://Yggdrasill.cfr.msstate.edu:4443/SyncProblem.htm or the link http://Yggdrasill.cfr.msstate.edu:7778/SyncProblem.htm. This zip contains the Embedded VC++ project files, that will compile and run correctly on a PocketPC with an Arm processor, or the PocketPC x86 emulator when you have the required include files, and libraries in the path. It also includes the JAVA code I used to create the publication. If you extend the VC++ code to run on additional platforms be sure to add the compile flag (directive) /D SQL_NOUNICODEMAP , and the library files olod2040.lib, and ocapi.lib in the library box from Project settings. On my system the paths to the Arm, and x86 libraries are C:\ORALITE501\MOBILE\SDK\WINCE\POCKET_PC\Arm\LIB, and C:\ORALITE501\MOBILE\SDK\WINCE\POCKET_PC\X86EM\LIB, respectively
I am using a NT 4.0 SP6a server with Database 9i Release 2 Enterprise edition, and OracleLite 9i Mobile Server Release 5.0.1. The Windows CE test device is an iPac running Pocket PC, connected to a system running Windows 2000 Professional SP2, and Microsoft Active Sync 3.1.
Please review this problem documentation, and tell me what I am doing wrong, or point me to a location where I can get a patch to fix the problem.
