Reserved Stock information in MB52

Hello All,
Is it possible to have "Reserved Stock" information in MB52.
In MB52 Layouts / Line 1 - There is no "Reserved Stock" field available.
Can we bring this information to the layout? (like in MMBE).
Thanks in advance,
Siva

Hi,
Why SAP must have not provided this information in MB52?
This question is difficult to answer for us...sometimes SAP AG creates its software in a way that is not logical to all of us.
However, if you check "Plant stock" view in material master, you can see that "Reserved" is not mentioned. You can't find "On-order" stock also.
The explanation might be that these are not real stock types as someone already mentioned. If you start MMBE and umark checkbox "Also Select Stock Commitments" you won't get these data.
So, these are not real stock types, these pieces of information derive from transactional data (e.g. reservations, open PO).
So, it seems MMBE provides more than a normal stock report, it gives a little bit outlook to planning situation (e.g. scheduled for delivery, Consignment ordered are also not stock types but origin from transactional data).

Csaba

  • Difference in Reserved stock

    Dear all,
I am trying to get a standard report which shows stock reservation per material code. I am looking at two transactions - MMBE and MB25. Both these transactions are showing different quantities of reserved stock.
Does anyone know why there is a difference of value in both the reports? Is there any other report which shows the same information.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best Regards
    Keyur

    Dear Shah,
Just click on the value which you see in MMBE under reservation and in the top menu click on Environment--->Reservations or
click on the value and press Shift+F6.
Here you can find the clear picture of the reservations.
Check with this and revert back.

  • Re : Reserved stock of raw material in MMBE

    HI
While doing make-to-stock production the raw material purchasing from vendor is updated in both unrestricted use and reserved use. after finishing production the unrestricted stock is removed but the reserved stock is not removed.
    How to solve this.
    Thanls
    Mani

    Dear,
Reserved stock which is showing in Stock overview or any other stock reports is not the physical stocks. These stocks are created with respect to reservation.
You can't transfer the stock from reserved stock to Unrestricted stock. These reserved stock is just the information availble in Stock overview for the User that this much stock is pending for transfer with respect to reservation. So when you post the stock with respect to reservation then this reserved stock will automatically decreased with that posted stock for the material. You can't transfer that to unrestricted.MB1C will help you in this case with 261 movement.
if set TECO status for your first production order, system will release the reserved stock, it comes to unrestricted stock.
If it is not take place then to run the correction program Go to SE38 give RM06C020 and execute.

  • Exclude Reservation stock type from MRP Run

    Dear All,
I need to exclude Reserved Stock Type from MRP Planning.
Please guide me with the steps to perform the above.
Just for your information, the reservation is coming from Plant Maintenance module, not Production Planning.
I tried changing the Availability check 02 - PM checking rule to exclude reservation, but it doesnt seem to work. Maybe i did it wrong.
    Please help.

    Nazrin,
Availability check configuration (OVZ9) has no impact on MRP.  MRP relies on its internal rules when it is performing its net requirements calculation.  You have very little control over which elements are included/excluded.
You can exclude selected storage locations from MRP planning.  Stock and reservations against these storage locations will therefore also be excluded.
You can exclude a material from planning, change the material master MRP type to ND.
Your best bet, though, would be to set your PM planning process up such that these materials never create the reservation in the first place.

  • SCE for Sales order reserved Stock

    Hi Friends,
During the SCE in CK40N, it is working fine for all materials except Sales order reserved stock. It is not updating the prices of Sales order stock prices in accounting view and not making valuation on the basis of new prices in MB52 stock report.
Can you please provide me the solution so that we can get the valuation of Sales order reserved stock(MTO) updated by SCE run.

  • How can I reserve stock for a specific sales order?

We would like to reserve stock for a specific sales order X which must be delivered next month. I have created a reservation (trx. MB21) for sales order X (movement type 231). MD04 list shows the reservation and decreases ATP stock. Stock is blocked for allocation to other sales orders. So far, it works as required. But: I cannot deliver sales order X either! It is possible to post GI for the reservation but there is no link to sales order X. It is still not possible to deliver sales order X. I thought entering the sales order number in the reservation would link the reservation to the sales order but appearently it is not.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use reservations for reserving stock for sales orders? If yes, how does it work?
If not, is there a way to reserve stock for future issue of a specific sales order or for a specific customer?
    Regards,
    Mariët
PS We confirm all sales orders. Stock allocation / ATP-check only takes place at delivery creation.

    Hi Csaba,
Thanks for your reply. We are not going to work in MTO environment because we do not make/purchase to order... I will explain our process/requirement in detail:
Normaly a customer orders our products and we deliver from stock. Sometimes a customer calls and informs us that he needs an extraordinary large amount of the product next month. Customer tells us that it is very important that the full quantity is available that date. For us it is no problem to purchase that amount of products in time but we must avoid other customers to take away the stock. Since we confirm all sales orders and do not allocate stock to sales orders, I am looking for a solution to 'reserve' that amount of stock for that specific customer to be available at that specific date (next month).
I tried to use reservations but then I need a sales order number, so that's why I created a sales order with delivery date next month. I created a reservation (movement type 231, sales order number X + sales order item number). Unfortunately the stock can still be assigned to other customers/sales orders... (I was expecting that only sales order X could use this reserved stock...).
Do you know if reservations can be used for this purpose? I do not need a sales order (I only created it because I need to enter a sales order + item in the reservation), if there is a way to reserve quantity for a specific customer this would be a good solution for us as well.
Thanks in advance for your advise.

    Mariet

  • Sales Order/Delivery for particular customer From his Reserve stock?

    Dear Couleague,
There is one scenario that faulty material from customer Co. get back by
Return Order (RE), Then return Delivery --& post goods receipt, Of the sold material,
Now co. (PP/QM) do rework Process (assemble, dismantle ...... whatever on the basis of return order) & make perfect material ok
Now this stock PP/QM people put under RESERVE STOCK because it belongs to that particular customer
Now I want to deliver that stock to that Particular customer,
    1) HOW CAN I DO?
    2) HOW CAN I PICK UP THAT ReserveMaterial while doing Sales Order/ delivery?
Even though I maintain copy control from RE to OR & AvailabilityCheck?
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
As and when you get a return order for repair, then you do the PGR and place that stock into a different storage location and you get that repaired and when you are doing PGI then fetch the stock from the same storage where you have placed the stock when you did the PGR.
If you are having serial number concept that will help you to give the same piece which you have collected from the customer to return the same piece.
We have implemented the system in the same way in our previous implementation.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.

  • Which table to find reserved stock (mmbe)?

In the transaction mmbe I can see reserved stock is stored in
    RMMMBESTN_DATEN
    BDMNG
but thats only a structure, where to find the real data?
    that I can say
select bdmeng from xy where matnr = xy.
    chris

    Hi,
You probably mean RKPF - that is the reservation header data and RESB where the lines\ items are.
A select with matnr will be from RESB.

  • Reserved stock quantity from MB25 t-code in R/3

    Hello Guyz
    1. I have to extract reserved stock quantity (difference quantity) from t-code MB25 into my Inventory Cube (0IC-C03) in BW.
    2. The user has advised me that the movement type is always '301' and the storage loc. is always '9998'. The problem is, in the cube, when I look at that specific movement type and storage location, I still have multiple records divided into 'material doc. numbers'.
    3. On the R.3 side, I have the 'Reservation number and its Item' as the key fields.
    4. How can I get my partilcuar KF from this t-code in R/3 into my cube in BW?
    5. My specific question is: The KF exists at the stor. loc. level.. how can I bring it down further at the material doc number level in the cube?
    Regards,
    Atul.

Very helpful answer Shalini. Thanks. So, I can enhance this extractor 2LIS_03_UM with these 2 fields. Then based on this, I can extract my 'Reserved Quantity' (KF) into 0IC_C03.
But I notice in R/3 that the 'reservation number and item' are the same for multiple document numbers. ie
    Doc No.----> Reservation No--
    > Item
    100                      ABC                                1
    101                      ABC                                1
    102                      ABC                                1
    103                      ABC                                1
    104                      ABC                                1
    But in MB25, I have
    Reservation No -
    > Item----
    >Diff. Quantity
           ABC                        1                       5000
How can I extract my KF, if there is a one-many relationship between reservation no and item & material doc number?
    Any suggestions.. anyone??

  • Which table holds the reserved stock

    Hi All,
In report - MMBE there are two columns unrestricted stock and reserved stock. Can you kindly share how this reserved stock is calculated which table/field holds the reserved stock. If I run the MMBE report now if it is determining the reserved stock assuming it comes from RESB which holds reservations what field in RESB gives me the reserved stock and how many days or what logic does MMBE use to calculate the reserved stock.

  • How to move CoProduct lying in rcpt reservation stock type to unrestricted

    Dear Frndz,
I am having coproduct defined and after doing the goods receipt of the main product , the co-product is found in the rcpt reservation stock type. Why it is so and how to move the stock to unresticted ?....Pls help me with the soln.
    Regards,
    Srini

    Dear,
If you have maintained a material in BOM with negative quantity. Then at the time of creation of Production Order when system creates automatic Reservation, then this material quantity will get displayed under "Rcpt reservation" column in MMBE. Because that much quantity will be received as By-Product via 531 movement.
    Please  ckeck this link,

  • Reserved stock table

    Hi,
Can you please tell the table and field to display reserved stock against contracts?
Basically, we would enter a contract (VA41) and reserve this stock. (so that call off orders can consume this stock)
What is the table where we can see the reserved stock against that contract?
    Is it MARD - LABST?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kasi,
MARD-LABST is total unrestricted stock, for reserved stock also you can use this .In MMBE you can see the reserved stock by clicking on ths quantity, here it will give you the total idea on stock .for returns u can see the values in RETME (This is merchandise that a customer returns because she is not happy with it.) or VMRET (Quantity returned by the customer in the previous period.)
check these fields as per your requirement.
    Thanks

  • Re : Reservation stock in warehouse management

    Hi
I am transfering warehouse stock to production; I am using LT01 and LT12 for pick and confirm the material transfer from warehouse to production. after doing confirmation using co15 the bin stock ir removed(LS24). But the reserved stock in MMBE is not removed.
                        How to remove reserved stock
while not using LT01 and LT12 the werehouse stock is not removed. Bot stock in MMBE is removed.
    How to solve this.
    Thanks
    Anto

    Hi,
Reservations which you see in MMBE are created against either a Production Order / Cost Center reservations.
In you case you are transferring the Material from the Warehouse to Production Storage location, Logically if your production order reservation is existing agisnt the Production Storgae location system should remove the reservation on confirmation of the order (with backflush option used ).
I suggest you to run the MRP for the material in MD03 and check as the Goods Issue is completed for the order reservation should be removed.
    Hope this will help you.
