Reset all settings iphone 5s
Hy i have an iphone 5s who i try to reset all settings from the phone.
I do this now it is like 55-60% done but i start it 3 days ago.WHY take so much?
I want to add i try to install ios 8.1.3 on iphone 6plus and it takes like 5 hours to dw the ios.
It isn't normal because i do this 2st time in 1 month i downgrade from ios 8.1.3 before apple close this .
When i install it first time the dw takes 1 hour or 40 min.
It is because of apple? Or why my iphone 5s still loading this step from 3 days -4 now.
Please help me!
i can't close the phone .. it is like this.
I try to put him in DFU but i can't close him first.

I got a new iPhone today. When i connected it to iTunes for the first time I made the mistake of selecting restore from iPod touch rather than setting it up as a new iPhone. The iPhone now thinks it's my itouch! I guess I cd just go back into iTunes and rename it?? Bit cross with myself as should have registered it as a new iPhone!

Reset all settings - iPhone 5s is now in a reset loop with blue screen
Hi there,
Brand new iPhone 5s, only owned it for 3 months - Updated the iOS to the latest version last night and all was fine.
I had to reset all settings this morning for a car bluetooth related issue which was supposed to fix it. Having done that, the phone is now in a reset loop which goes to a blue screen and then repeats the reset. I have attempted a hard rest with the home button and lock button but it just goes back to the loop.
Please help! I really need my phone!

my iphone 4s has been reporting invalid sim/sim card failure intermittently for a week. I thought it was a one/two-time thing, so had to manually eject SIM card and put back in. Today, after it happened twice in 12 hours, someone told me to reset - i thought they meant reset all settings, not network settings. while in the middle of resetting, there was an invalid SIM card again. so a few questions - which should i do first? try to manually back up from itunes (not connected to cloud - will be after tonight!), or eject SIM card? don't know if one will jeopardize the other. also, the last time i backed up was 6 days ago - have taken hundreds of pics since then - are those all lost? is there a way to essentially not reset? i thought the reset was okay because it said i'd lose no data or media. Help! thanks much!

After I updated my iphone 4 to ios 6.1.3 I can no longer connect to my bluetooth, plantronics model M25. I tried reset all settings after turning on and off also submitted diagnostic. Do I have to buy yet another bluetooth set?

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. Do you have any idea how can I fix it? Do you think it's a software issue?

Eversince I updated my iphone 4 to IOS 5.0.1, sometimes I get a 'No Service' or 'Searching' signal where my network signal should be upon which I have switch the phone off then on then 'Reset all Settings' to get the phone normal again.Is there a solution to this?
I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -

Fixed I created 2 new alarms and then disabled one and deleted the other. When the time came for one of the alarms to go off it did not.

I can't add video on instagram. It always fails. I read on the web that i shoul reset all settings. So I wanted to reset all settings. But it requires passcode. I forgot that passcode. What can I do? Is it possible to change that passcode?
To change the passcode if you have forgotten it the only option is to Restore your iPhone to Factory settings by connecting it to iTunes on your computer. And you can try the below steps to Reset your iPhone settings without need of any passcode.
Reset ( No Data will be lost )
First Make sure the Battery of your iPhone is Charged and then press and Hold the On/Off switch (On top of your iPhone) and the Home Button (Button at the bottom of your iPhone screen). Hold both the keys simultaneously for atleast 10 to 15 seconds and you should see an Apple Logo coming up on your screen, once you see the Apple logo you can then release both On/Off switch and Home button and wait for your iPhone's Home screen.
After your iPhone is Reset try to do what you were trying and see if it works or else you will have to Backup your iPhone and then Restore your iPhone to fix your issue as Restoring device fixes many of the issues

Resetting your settings on your iPhone will not erase you contacts, this just resets your phone settings and does not do anything with the data or content stored in your phone. Also if you have iCloud, your contacts automatically store onto iCloud, and will keep them up to date if you were to, say restore the phone to factory settings

Will "reset all settings" on iphone remove the provisioning profile?
I was able to correct the problem by disabling and re-enabling iMessage first on the iPhone and then on each of the other devices. Then when I selected Text Forwarding the appropriate code showed up on the selected device allowing the functionality to be activated.
