Reset DP90
Hi
I am on ECC6 and we have a question about reseting DP90 resource realted billing. Obviously DP90 generates a debit in SD to be billed. I have had a look on SAP and it states that you can reset DP90, however I cannot find an icon or transaction to do this. Do they just mean that the debit needs to be rejected with a relevant reason or is there a SAP process to do this. Also because a billing document is already generated from this DP90 debit, I take it we need to cancel the billing document first in VF11 to reset the DP90. Please advise.

The DP90 has been run and a debit (sales doc) and invoice created. This was created by mistake so I want to basically reverse the invoice and reject the debit to put it back to being an open item in DP90. To carry out this process, I thought we would need to reverse the invoice in VF11 and then reject the debit . Is this the correct process, because on SAP it mentions you can reset DP90 back to the point where you can recreate the billing request. Please advise.

Hello all,
When I cancel a debit memo created via DP90, everything should be reversed. The reversed dollars do appear in the internal order. However, when I try to re-run DP90 to re-do everything, it does not pick up the reversed charges. I think it is because the system thinks it's already been billed even though I reversed it. Is there any way to reset this in DP90 so I can pick up charges that were already billed (but later cancelled)???? I cancelled the debit memo and the subsequent billing document.

Not sure whether u cancelled the billing request or billing doc.....but here is what SAP say...
Canceling a Billing Request
You may want to cancel the billing document if you do not want to process the items in a billing request or if you want to make them available for a new billing request.
For technical reasons, you can not use the cancel function. You can, however, provide it with a suitable reason for rejection. This means that it will not be taken into account in the current billing document but it will be available for billing in subsequent billing documents.
Canceling billing document
If a billing document is canceled, then the billing request is can be edited again. You can edit the billing request for a subsequent billing run or the items can be set as having cancellation as the reason for rejection
Not sure of ur scenario but i guess u may have to set rejection reason to open that docuemt or reset

RRB - Why System picks incorrect material while DP90 run?

We are creating project from Contract, each line item of contract create a WBS in project. Than we post labor hours from CATS to WBS. Than we run DP90 to create memo and so on to bill the customer.
Issue is, no matter what service material I enter in Contract line item from Material Master I always get the same material XX in DP90 and thus the same price associated with the wrong material. If I am correct its because of Material Determination Criteria in ODP1. The pre-configured system defaults Activity Type and cost element as the criteria to fill. In my case same Activity Type and same Cost element in used for most of the service materials. For example;
Activity Type = A (from CATS)
Cost Element = A (labor hours posting in project/ WBS)
I am looking for a selection criteria which I can tell the system based on which it can select the correct material number in DP90 (if I am not mistaken). Can you suggest criteria commonly used for materials related to labor hours in service industry? Or any clue to attack this problem? Thank you much!Hi Tina,
Here all the Ni* messages are related to the Network Interface, and the return code 10054 tells you that the network connection
was broken.
It was probably simply a glimpse in your network, which caused the SAP instance to disconnect from the message server.
I will recommend you to reboot the server(restart), it will definitely work.

Use NIPING tool to diagnose your network, as per note 500235. Please check the health of your network to ensure constant connectivity.
Ensure there is no hostname resolutions problem, as per below notes:

Regarding the information from the Event viewer, here I always recommend a kernel upgrade to latest available from
the SAP Service Marketplace http://service.sap.com/swdc
I also recommend applying the latest 'disp+work' and 'dbsl' patch.
Please try to restart the server, if it won't works and then follow the mentioned notes.
Hope restart will immediately resolves the error. Please let me know if still issue persists.

Error while resetting a cleared document

You need to reset all clearing for the corresponding FICA document for the print document.
Reset the clearing for the document no. mentioned in the output for EA13 execution.
You need to reset all the clearing for the document, before reversing the same.
To get all the clearing document, go to DFKKOP table, enter the FICA document no. (for the print document on FPL9). Get all AUGBL documents,
Alternatively, you can go on to FPL9 screen, double click on the consumption document, in the basic data you will see the clearing date (if it is cleared), expand the view their (click on + sign), you will se the clearing document no,
Pass the above clearing document no, to FP07, and once all the clearing is reset for the invoice, you can reverse the corresponding invoice through EA13.

Global data getting reset when running under IIS?
We have a scenario using IIS with an ASP.NET web service written in VB.NET. When a call to the web service is made, the web service calls a native dll (written in C, compiled using VS2010) using platform invoke, which in turn calls into our product API:
VB.NET web service -> native library (p/invoke) -> native API ....
Web service requests are successfully completed and the system runs without problem for hours. A trace of the native API shows it is being called by multiple processes and multiple threads within those processes.
The main native API dll contains a static global variable used to detect whether it is the first time it has been called and run initialization logic if it is. This dll is itself linked to a second dll that contains a global variable used to detect if it is
the first time it has been called.
After some hours the trace shows that the native API is invoked by an existing process but that the initialization logic is being exercised again, even though the global variable was set to indicate not first time and is never reset. One theory was that
the first process has ended and a new process has started almost instantaneously using the same process ID. However this is not the case as existing thread IDs from the same process are seen to write to the trace again after the first time logic has executed
for the second time, indicating the process has not restarted. The problem occurs regularly.
It is as though the process's global data has been initialized again and malloc'ed memory freed while the processing is still running. Is there any way this is possible when running under IIS?
There is an internal thread which waits on a blocking read of a named pipe (via ReadFile), and when the problem occurs, the ReadFile call ends with ERROR_NO_ACCESS, which appears to indicate the malloc'ed buffer is no longer valid, again implying something

I've just found that three movies I've bought from iTunes on on my iPad are not showing up on Apple TV or anywhere other than that iPad. What's up with that and will I lose these films if I reset this iPad?
Thanks. The reason this has become an issue is that I recently bought a new Macbook Air that the iPad is not synced to. The one is was synced to was stolen. If I want to sync this iPad to the new Air, won't it be wiped before I'm able to copy these films or am I wrong about that?

Reset Cleared Documents and Vendor Open Items Report FBL1N
Hi all,
I have following scenario:
- In last month, we had 2 documents (invoice and payment) cleared against each other. We created open items report as well as open items correspondence sent to Vendor. Obviously, the docs were not included in report.
- In this month, we have reset and reverse clearing document of the documents. We create report again with the open key date as in last month. It should not include the 2 docs but it did with whichever key date we chose.
Is there any setting that open item report doesn't include cleared item at the key date when we run report for previous month?

If i understand you correctly then you posted and paid invoice in Jan 2012 and generated the open line item report for Jan which correctly did not include this cleared invoice.
Now in Feb 2012 you reset and reversed this payment document.
The issue is when you execute the report FBL1N again then you get the open line item for this invoice correct. Please confirm what is the open item key date that you are using here for generating this report
If you keep it 31.01.2012 then definetly this invoice should not appear in the report but if you keep that 29.12.2012 then this line item would for sure appear.
The importance of key date is to limit the report to certain date. The system selects all items posted up to and including the specified key date and open for this period.
so I think your issue is with the key date.

Iphone4...got soaked, works after reset, now wont reactivate and shows error 0XE8000004
Hi all,
I have a 32gig iPhone4 that I purchased second hand. Recently I knocked it into the toilet...I turned it off straight away, left it to dry.
After 5 days drying I gave it a full charge, turned it on and the display was all sketchy. I've kept trying with it, realised that the display would function fine at times so have I put it in recovery mode, factory reset it and managed to get it out of recovery mode.
I'm back at a fresh start, however when trying to activate the handset via iTunes I keep getting the same error....'0xE8000004'
Can anyone shed any light on this error and how I can get this phone back up and running?

I reset my cellular data usage every month at the beginning of my billing period so that I can keep track of how much data I am using thru out the month. I do not have the unlimited data plan and have gone over a few times. It's usually the last couple days of my billing cycle and I am charged $10 for an extra gig which I barely use 10% of before my usage is restarted for new billing cycle. FYI, they do not carry the remainder of the unused gig that you purchase for $10 which I disagree with. But have accepted. Lol Moving on.
I have two questions. One possibly being answered by the other. 1. Is cellular data used when I sync to iTunes on my home computer to load songs onto my iPhone from my iTunes library(songs that already exist)? 2. What causes the cellular data usage readings in iPhone settings/general/usage/cellular usage to decrease if my last reset has not changed? It is close to end of my billing cycle and I have been keeping close eye. Earlier today it read around 180mb sent/1.2gb received. Now it reads 90mb sent/980 mb recieved. My last reset date reads the same as before. I don't know if my sync and music management had anything to do with the decrease but i didn't notice the decrease until after I had connected to iTunes and loaded music. 1) No.
2) It does provide an estimated usage, but it's not accurate. For accurate determination, you should check the remaining/used MBs from the carrier (most of the carriers provide this service for free). -
I recently bought a Time Capsule and sucessfully set it up in accordance with the instruction book. The home network and guest network seem to work fine but my MacBook cannot find the Time Capsule wirelessley.
Initially I set up the time capsule connected to the MacBook with an ethernet cable. The Time Machine got 30GB way through a 60GB initial back up and then stopped for no obvious reason. Since then the capsule has not been visible to the MacBook. I have tried to reconfigure through Airport Utility but even after reperated rescans the capsule remains invisible.
Any help would be extremely welcome.1. i would restore the express to factory defaut by holding the reset button on the unit with a paperclip while you are powering it on
2. if it restored, you should be able to see it in your wifi icon at top of screen as "airport express"
or you can see it in airport utility
3. then if you want to connect it wirelessly to your time capsule, you would choose "extend network" and put in relevant security and password....this would make the express a wireless access point, fed by your time capsule(main router)
if you chose to do it wired which is a better way if you have access to ethernet port at wall, you would choose "create a wireless network" and then under the "network" tab you would choose "Bridge Mode".....this would make the express a wired access point, fed by your time capsule(main router) -
At first the user created an accrual using FBS1 for reversal on 5/1/2015.
This created a clearing document.
Then it was mistakenly reversed by the user for 5/1/2015 by using F.81
This also created a clearing document.
Based on advice in the following thread: Delete reverse accrual/defferal documents | SCN ,
the user used FBRA to reset and reverse the document. We are unsure if the reset and reverse command was used or just the reset choice.
Now the accrual value is in the respective accounts with an open status (i.e. red button). Does this mean that the entry has already been discarded and it won't affect the accounts? Or does one then use FB50 to reverse the effects of the accrual in the current and next month?Hi
I guess that the user has not reverse the transaction as its still shows as open item in 30 /4 .. so I belive that you need to use fb50 or simply use FBR2 and enter the original entry no and the choose (generate reversal posting option )..
