  • Integration of Simulation versions of APO & R/3

    Hi,
I want to integrate simulation versions of APO & R/3 so that data can flow between both systems.  Is it possible?  How to do it?
If the answer is possible, how to create simulation version in R/3 and to integrate with the simulation version of APO?
    Please reply,
    Regards,
    R. Senthil Mareeswaran.

    Hi Senthil,
APO & R/3 Integration can only be done with active version that is version 000. Integration using simulation version is not possible.

  • How to reset indicators in a control design and simulation loop before each run?

    Hi,
I am new to Labview. I have tried using property node to reset indicators before each run. But since it is in a simulation loop, it gets resetted many times. I am primarily interested in resetting only before each run.
Any hint will be of great help.
    Thank you!
    Regards,
    Divya

    Hi Divya,
This KnowledgeBase article describes 2 methods for resetting your Front Panel programmatically:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/08E7DDAE66A7D02C86256DDA00630E75
However if you have tried these methods, and are still not getting the behaviour you want, it would be easier to help if you could post your code (or even a screen shot of the section of code where you're trying to reset your values)

  • Issue with Reset Password from Active Directory Integration Pack

I seem to be having some issues with a subscription in the Reset Password activity from the Active Directory Integration Pack. The "User Password" field refuses to take a value from a subscription provided earlier in a Generate Random
Text activity. As you will see in the screenshot below, when the Reset Password activity runs, the User Password value is blank.
Any idea why this might be happening? It looks like a possible bug with the Active Directory Integration Pack.

    Hi John,
I think this is not a bug, this should be by design because the password is a secure string. If you look for the Published data for Reset User Password activity at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh553463.aspx it is not listed there as well.
If you need the the string (e.g. to send it via email) use the
data from the "Generate Random Text" Activity.

  • Password reset page problem after sso integration

    Dear all,
We've integrated ERP 12.0.4 with SSO. Integration is fine
the url http://hostname:8010/ is redirecting to
the portal login page ( as per the design)
if any user password is reset, before SSO integration the above redirects to a new password reset page, where the user can reset his password. Now after integration, the SSO page redirects directly to the home page of the user.We need to have the password reset page also.IS there any option to do this ?
    Thanks

  • VM's resetting randomly

I have a 3 node Server 2012 R2 cluster and I'm seeing VM's randomly resetting and an error 1069 is logged in the cluster errors. Some of the VM's that have reset have older (Server 2012) integration tools but a number that have reset are up to date.
The VM's have been very stable on our Server 2012 cluster and have only started doing this since they were migrated across last week.

  • [RT] Meaning of Timed Loop "reset at structure start"?

Using LabView RT the Timed Loop and also the Simulation Loop have a hardware clock feature called 1 MHz. Each iteration is done in sync with the hardware clock ticks.
But what's the difference between 1 MHz and 1 MHz <reset at structure start>? My guess:
The first option starts the loop with the next hardware clock tick (waiting)
The second option starts the loop immediately (so the loop is running with a "tick offset")
The hardware clock "reset" does not affect other Timed or Simulation Loops running at the same time
    Is this correct?

    Hi,
in the following link you can find further information about this topic.
    http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvdialog/loop_configuration_db/
I have a VI attached which shows you the difference between these two options in a practical example. Just try out the different options for the timed loop.
Without <reset at structure start> the timed loop wants to catch up a time delay after its first execution, with this option enabled it still works fine for the upcoming
    iterations.
    Kind Regards
    Thomas

  • SMC Update 1.1 Macbook Pro Retina 15" with Bootcamp Win 7 FPS in Games

I have the 15" Retina Macbook Pro, and I have definitely had issues with framerate in games played on bootcamp windows 7. The game I am testing fps is Rift. I noticed when plugged in, the fps drops significantly compared to when it is not plugged in (on battery.) Running on ultra video settings at 1920 x 1080, when plugged in I am getting between 7 to 15 fps after about 3 minutes of sustained use. When unplugged however I get a sustained 34+ fps.
I installed the two new updates ( OSx 10.8.3 and MBPr SMC Update 1.1 ) in the hopes they would resolve my issue. However I am seeing the same fps problems as before.
Additionally while running the game the fan spins like crazy at all times and the power cord gets quite warm. Upon quitting the game, the fan continues to spin wildly with no end.
Can anyone else reproduce these observations? I had an open ticket with Apple to fix this prior to the update on my machine. I was so excited when I saw the release notes to these two updates as it appeared they would directly address my problems. Unfortunately there has been no significant change. Needless to say, my work order shall remain open...

    Hi All,
I tried this and it improved my FPS in games yesterday, still not getting FPS I would desire, but its become playable.
    Repasted here from another thread:
My retina MacBook Pro has had terrible graphics performance problems for a couple of weeks. I searched all over various forums and tried everything: resetting SCM, manually selecting discrete/integrated graphics card, deleting graphics kexts, etc. Nothing helped until I found this: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19880198#19880198
Now my rMBP has silky smooth graphics again!
The directions in that post are a little hard to understand so I cleaned them up here:
Step 1: Delete system windowserver preferences
In the Finder, from the menu bar, select "Go -> Go to Folder..."
    Enter: /Library/Preferences/
    Delete the file called com.apple.windowserver.plist
Step 2: Delete user windowserver preferences
In the Finder, from the menu bar, select "Go -> Go to Folder..."
    Enter: ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/
Delete all files that start with com.apple.windowserver   (On my rMBP, there was one file called com.apple.windowserver.12AFB147-95D6-5C70-8F62-C1E4F2BE81BE)
Step 3: Reset the PRAM    (These instructions are from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379)
    Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.
Hopefully this helps others with bad graphics performance on retina MacBook Pros.

  • Answer to issue w/ ipod shutting off with older docking station

Since I have gotten a lot of help over the years using forums, it is now my turn to help others with the problem of the ipod 5g showing low battery error and then shutting off. The apple store could not help me, so I took a chance and purchased the scosche home dock adaptor. This fixed my problem for the 5g and I can now listen to my ipod in my hot tub again.

Additional information: My car battery died, which reset the radio and the integration kit. The integration kit worked perfectly for about three days, then once again the two stopped talking with each other. So it seems that the kit may work at the beginning, but then it peters out.

  • How to simulate external hardware in LabView FPGA ?

    Hello,
    I have a NI 7952R connected to a 6583 IO module.
This IO module is connected to a digital sensor that continuously sends patterned data.
I am developping the code for the FPGA and I would like to know how to perform a cycle accurate simulation of the whole system.
There is an example for a cycle accurate simulation of the labView -> FPGA interface, but it doesn't include the behavior of an external hardware connected to the FPGA IO module.
Now I have a VHDL simulation model (not synthetisable) that describes my sensor. How to include that into the iSim cycle accurate simulation?
Do I have to alter the 6583 IO module CLIP files by including my sensor description into it?

Thank you for your answer, I think now we have a common understanding of your intent.
Your I/O simulation model is integrated via a clip or ip integration node:
"In addition to VHDL code for the FPGA VI, you must provide simulation models for any IP you include through the CLIP and IP Integration Nodes. You specify the models for CLIP simulation and the IP Integration Node simulation through their configuration wizards."

  • Macbook pro retina display working slow

Yesterday, I woke up the macbook pro from sleep mode and i had several apps opened.
Then when i did the mission control it was working very slowly. All the gestures of the track pad were working slowly.

  • Acer aspire ES1-111 issues

Hi all,I decided to register in this community in order to get some advice and opinion about issues I'm experiencing with this laptop. I'm an owner of an Acer Aspire ES1-111 which I bought a week ago. Since its first configuration I noticed problems using it with windows 8.1 (its native OS). For example touchpad or keyboard not working properly and, most of all, shutdown problems. In this particular case I was never able to shutdown properly the device, because it either freezed or remained with the power indicator that continued being "on" although it seemed that the system was shutdown. However, in order to really shutdown I had to press power button. Firstly I decided to reset the system with the integrated software eRecovery but problems remained. Secondly I decided to do a clean install of the operating system and I tried both Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. In both cases, installation process finished without problems but when trying installing all drivers I experienced freezes and again shutdown problems. I followed an order to install drivers (Chipset first, than VGA etc), but in most of cases I had the aformentioned issues. I also tried disabling "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" to no avail.  But now comes the strange part... I finally decided to give a try to Windows 7 and, to my surprise, everything is working fine! I was able to install drivers properly and to shutdown or restart my notebook without problems. Now I'm using it with Windows 7, but, as it is in warranty, I would like to ask you what do you think about this issues.  I find quite strange that a notebook isn't working properly with its native OS but it's fine with an old OS!! Do you think I should send it to Acer assistance or ask to change it (although, I don't know if I'm still able to pursue this second option). Thanks for your attention! Mic

Bios was set to UEFI when I bought the notebook. System was very slow on its first configuration, probably due to all the third part softwares installed. Also the hdd was not partitioned, something I didn't like. So, after a reset with Acer eRecovery software that didn't solved the slowness of the system, I decided for a clean install with a Windows 8.1 bootable usb stick I had. And, in order to select the boot order desired, I had to change bios mode from UEFI to LEGACY. But, I think that this step was not the best option for a notebook that has a native UEFI bios, as my struggles showed. So, after some research, I decided to reset bios to UEFI, create a usb bootable stick that was compatible with UEFI (through RUFUS software) and run again installation process of Windows 8.1. And this time, all steps were done automatically and without problems. System is far more usable now. Yes, I lost the eRecovery partition, but I can alwasys use the one that the new installation has created.

  • IBIS model for Kintex config pins

    Hi,
we still have problems with IBIS generation regarding the voltage level of bank0 and configuration pins of bank14 and bank15 for Kintex (xc7k325tffg900-2).
On our board these banks are used with 1V8 I/O voltage, but the default voltage in the IBIS is 2V5.
How can I constrain the configuration pins in UCF using Planahead 14.5 ??
The pins are not used in our VHDL design!
    What I have already: CONFIG CONFIG_MODE = BPI16;
    Thanks and best regards!

From implementation project you only can generate IBIS model as per your device part and design. You need to use that IBIS model to do Signal Integrity (SI) simulations in separate SI tools (Ex: http://www.mentor.com/pcb/hyperlynx )
During IBIS SI simulations you need to choose corresponding IO standard from IBIS model. For example if you choose LVCMOS18 then it will perform simulations as per - LVCMOS1.8V device model.
There is power supply selection option is there in SI tools (Ex: Mentor Graphics), you can use that for passive components and other terminations.
Please visit the below links for more information about SI information
    http://www.xilinx.com/products/technology/signal-integrity.html
    http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/white_papers/wp323.pdf
You can find many tutorials about IBIS simulations by google search or corresponding SI tools vendor’s web sites
