Reset iphone and getting no content on music

Hello,
I had to restore my iphone after a software update and now my music itunes folder states "no content". I'm heading on vacation tomorrow and really want to be able to access my itunes.
please help.

I just did a restore to factory settings from the phone last night and it worked. Don't know for how long, but it straightened things out.
History..Apps started crashing, then lost music, then phone bricked. I did the restore which took forever. I did not downgrade to a lesser version of itunes. I then deleted all apps from itunes and my files. Phone worked great again and then I started adding some of the apps (I had alot but only brought back about 6). Then after about a week or so I added more apps and everything worked great. All apps were reinstated from itunes not the phone. The update I did on the apps was from itunes. And that was when the problem started again. I did note that after the update, the apps were spread across 3 pages. I didn't have enough to cover two and I think that may be the problem. I started noticing some songs had no volume while playing, some apps would crash. I figured it's just a question of time before the whole phone goes south again. Last night I deleted the apps that weren't working and upgraded to itunes 8. Some of the remaining apps were crashing now and still spread over 3 pages. So before going nuts with another restore I did a reset to factory settings from the phone. It bndled the apps back onto two pages and they were all working just fine. So far anyway. We shouldn't have to go through all this nonsense but maybe resetting to factory settings is a quick solution. I didn't lose any contacts, just had to reset the weather app for my town and reinstate the wifi password and a couple of other password protected apps. So before doing a restore, try resetting the factory settings.

You should be storing everything on your computer and you should always backup your computer. Have you failed to do these things?
If so, not good, then you can redownload some iTunes purchases in some countries. Open iTunes store, click Purchased under Quick links

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

The storage you purchased is in the cloud, and doesn't do anything with your pad. Your problem is simply that you have too much content on your pad. Go to settings, general, usage, and it will show you how much space you have avaliable on your pad. If you let the screen sit for a while, all the apps will be displayed, and you can see how much stuff you have associated with each.
You have to no option but to delete some of the content on your pad. Videos, comics, pitcures and some music files use a lot of space. The cloud allows you to leave stuff there, so you can get it when you need it.

I have a similar problem. I recieved an IPAD for my birthday, and my daughter updated my itunes library so i can use it with the ipad...and somehow all my songs (unpurchased from itunes, and downloaded from a large collection of CDs) ...and play lists were deleted. I still have them on my old ipod, and wonder how to get them back onto my computer so I can redistribute some of them to the ipad. FIRST, copy the iTunes folder from your old computer to the new one BEFORE YOU RUN ITUNES for the first time. Depending on your computer it will be in the Music or My Music folder. Copy the entire folder, including the iTunes Library file and the iTunes Media (or iTunes Music) folders.
Install iTunes and Authorize it to the same account as the old computer on the Store menu.
Connect the iPhone. Set up syncing with desktop apps on the Info tab.

You would need to check if you made a back up of the iPhone on iTunes/iCloud before you restored from the ipod touch back up. If there isnt then im sorry that data is gone.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

Thank you for clarify I'm supposed to read the ENTIRE article. I thought I was just supposed to read the title and magically everything will fix itself. I appreciate you taking the time to help me however I do not appreciate the caps and the way you have addressed the situation. And for the record my conclusions are not illogical, the iOS7 thing is on the website in small font (which I got by reading the ENTIRE thing) and you should really find a new hobby because your socialization skills need some help! My iPod reset itself and converted all of my music into files on the iPod's hard drive. How do I access them and get them back?

I made the mistake of disconnecting my iPod from my computer without ejecting it and now all of my music, podcasts and other files are listed as "other" in the iPod summary section. I can't access the files outside of iTunes (when the iPod is just being used as an external hard drive), so I need to know if there's any kind of third party program or other technique I can use to get this stuff back.
