Reset my phone and now I have lost all my contacts.How can i retrieve them?
I was having trouble syvcing my phone with the computer and 1 of the prompts was reset the phone and be able to retrieve my data later.
Unfortunatley i'm having some trouble doing that.
Could somebody help me with problem.

I lost all my contacts - how can I retrieve them?
I cancelled my free trial to mobile me last night only to wake this morning and see that all my contacts and calendar were deleted from my iphone! I was not given any warning about this. I checked my itunes account on my computer and saw that they were no contacts there as well! How could they not be backed up on my computer when I just synced my iphone yesterday! This is shocking that they would be wiped out just because I did not want to pay a subscription! I frantically got on to the mobile me account and paid $99 that I did not have to reacctivate the account thinking they would give me back my contacts, but they are gone from there as well. This is killing me! There has got to be a way to retrieve them. I am angry about it all, but I just want my numbers and addresses back.
Contacts are also part of your iphone backup. So in case you have an old backup from your phone, try to restore from and see if your contacts will appear again. Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your computer as well, syncing to an empty address book will delete the contacts again.

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it. -
When I imported my photos from iPhoto to Aperture, I appear to have lost all my keywords. Can I retrieve them and, if so, how?
How did you import them?
Keywords are preserved if you use either the Import iPhoto Library or Show iPhoto Browser methods.

My Iphone was playing up so I turned it off and when I turned it back on again it lost all my contacts-any idea how to retireve them?
If it's already giving you that message, the information on the phone is gone. I hope you backed up to iCloud.

i was just playing my smurfs game, and the screen went blank, turned on after about 10 seconds, and had reset the game. i tryed re syncing it to get all my old game data back, and it didnt work. i have spent alot of money and time on this game, and i dunno what the **** to do ! its really upset me, iv never had this happen before! PLEASE HELP!!
i reset the iPhone and then re synced it to my computer, i guess i was lucky in the fact that i back all my game data up to the game centre..
@sachin411 did you try resyncing the iPhone/iPod before you backed it up? make sure you back up your iProduct every few days, as i have learnt you can loose A LOT of stuff if you dont!! -
I moved to Mac from a Windows machine where I had downloaded all of my CDs into iTunes. When I got my Mac it only put my purchased items into my library. So I merged my windows library and it created a whole new user account with that on it. I now have two libraries and can only sync music with one account or I lose all of my imported CDs. Help! How do I merge them.
The easiest way is to get both computers on your home network and copy the files over the network. It's easier than you think

That thread mentions Target Disk Mode, which won't help moving from a PC to a Mac. But you can use file sharing to copy the files.

I have lost all my contacts how can they be restored

My contacts got transfered to all my devices except my ipad. As they were not wanted on one iphone they were delteted from that device but fortunately icloud wasn't on on my ipad. So all of my contacts are still there but I cannot get them back onto my mac or my other iphone. I tried a sync and it showed all contacts being restored but when I checked the iphone about 100 out of 1000 were there. I also cannot find them on my mac.

It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it. -
