Reset option in UCMON

Hi Friends,
Here is the issue Iam facing " My client executed the Reclassification of Retained earnings Task. He Reset the RE task and re-executed it once again.It is sucessfully executed each time.
After that when we executed the Validation Task we got error message that "Total Assets Not= total Liabilities + Total Equity".
We found out that YTD of Retained Earnings on the Balance sheet (which was 2x).It might be because of executing the "RE task" twice.
I checked the SAP Help file ,it says Reset option should be used with justification and for Currency Translation Task.
we over come the Problem by executing the Data collection Task onceagain
I would like to know what the Reset option in UCMON will do.
does it only Resets the Status or it also Resets Data.
when we Reset the Task it is taking 15 min. to Reset.

Dear Suraj,
First Rest task never reset the data.
In your question,  u have mentioned YTD RE is 2X because of executing the RE task twice.
Once when u executed the Re task first time in the system, automatically balance amount will be posted to RE account.
If you have done the same task again after restting the data, system never posts again the same document, because now the total is equals and no need to post the doc again.
Suppose if any changes happen in the data, then we will do Reset and execute the task again, in this case system will post the doc, but not the same doc erlier posted. t will be for the difference amount.
if system has posted the same document again, check your task and method again, to identify the error.
