Reset Password Daily for icloud on pc

I have no problems on my iphone.  Almost daily with my pc I am told I need to reset my password when signing into my icloud mail.  I have no problems when I go to manage my apple id.  But when I try to sign into icloud I get: "Your apple id has been disabled for security reasons." Really?  How many times do I need to reset it?  I cannot keep numerous resets straight in my head-It is ridiculous.
I would like to call support.  But since my pc does not have an apple id I cannot.  I have purchased storage.  I should be able to get support and not spend so much time wasted on this issue.  A very frustrated paying icloud user.

I can understand your frustration with your Apple ID issue. You can contact Apple Support with the information located in the attached link. I would advise you to let the advisor know that you are calling about your iCloud Apple ID password, not a hardware device.

    If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

    I doubt you are doing anything wrong. First day glitches 
    Reset the device.
    Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Why doesn't the iTunes Apple ID and password work for iCloud on the iPhone 3GS?

    I even logged into this Apple Support Community using my Apple ID and password with no problem. It also works in iTunes. But it still doesn't work for iCloud on my iPhone 3GS. It keeps saying "Unsupported Apple ID - iCloud requires an Apple ID that is an email address (including @me.com addresses)" I even put my email address associated with my Apple account and I still get the same message. I also checked to make sure the OS software was up to date.
    What's going on and why is this so difficult to accomplish??!!

    Same problem. I enter my password correctly, and I can't get in. but I can get into Apple Support and other login pages with the same (correct) password. Arg!

    Attn: My new Mac friends,
    I just bought me a mac pro with the operating system
    X Already Installed and because its a used macintosh the old administrators logon name appears and of coarse its asking for the password.
    I need to know how to reset the password and put my password in it without the use of the disc to the OS x.
    Or maybe clear the password at startup by entering ?
    (what Key on the Keyboard do I press to enter the computers system bios or adminastrator?

    On a Mac you have to have the system disk in order to reset the administrator password. You should ask whoever you bought the system from to give you the disks. Without these you will be unable to fix many of the problems that occasionally arise. At the VERY least, you should be able to get the password from the person you bought it from.
    Just for future reference Macs don't have anything equivalent to the BIOS. That is a PC thing.

    Finally, it isn't a good idea to post your e-mail address in public forums like this. Spammers can, and do, read through and add your address to their lists. Additionally the expectation is that all answers will be made to the list, so that others can get the help as well. If you want people t be able to reach you directly, you can go to "My Settings" on the right and add your address there. It is much harder for spammers to get your address that way.   • Cannot reset my Email for iCloud acct on iPhone

    I get a message to reset or edit my settings in iCloud but when I go to account the email is gray.  I do have a new email for AppleID and Ipad is ok also.   Only iPhone is problem.
    Under restrictions I have allow changes checked.

    The password is the same, the mail address has to be an iCloud address (Mac, Me or iCloud) which may or may not be the same as the address you use to log into iCloud.

    I downloaded purchasd Mountain LIon on Monday August 27. 
    I went to Apple Store Tuesday August 28 because things were not lining up, i.e, calendar not synching with iPhone calendar.

    "Deleting" the icloud account on your mac does not delete the data in icloud.  It just disconnects the mac from icloud.  Then as David suggests, just add the account back and everything will come back.
    But you haven't said anything about what you've done to get your mac and devices to sync.  I assume you turned on icloud, you turned on calendar and contacts, and anythings else you want synced.
    Try this as a test, on iphone, enter an event in a calendar that is listed under the "iCloud" section (not "On my iphone).  Then log into icloud.com using a browser on your mac.  Check out the calendar there - is the newly added event showing up?  If not, then you do not have your iphone properly configured.  Did you set up an icloud account?

    We are trying to tighten our security, but thanks to the environment we are in this is a bigger task than it should be. As part of this I have been asked to get a list of users who have the ability to reset other users passwords. there are the obvious suspects,
    domain admins, service desk etc., but we also appear to have random people who can do this because of a requirement during test or development stages way back. Is there a way to get this, I looked at using powershell but there doesn't seem to be much out there
    to give me a pointer, things like ADManager+ do not work, when I try to search on permissions it sits there doing nothing then crashes.
    Is there a way to build a function using powershell that can do this or is there some third party cmdlet or app that will provide me this info?
    Any help gratefully accepted.

    Based on my knowledge, except for those default groups users, such as domain admins and enterprise admins and so on, have reset password ability for other users, we can use delegation control to give other common users permissions to reset password for others,
    to view or delete Active Directory Delegated Permissions, please go through the below article:

    I suggest you check password policy on the AD LDS server.
    If the server is under workgroup mode, then local password policy is applied; if it is domain-joined, domain password policy over-rides local password policy, you may also need to check if there is any PSO configured.

  • Two Apple IDs, one for Icloud - But can't reset the password

    I have 2 Apple IDs.  (No ide how - but I do). 
    Account A I can access - but I can't set it up for iCloud
    Account B - When I try to reset the password - it leads be back to account A
    When I look at My iPhone - In the iCloud setting  - it references the Account B address. 
    When I try to login to iCloud Desktop - If I try to get a new Password for account B, an email is sent to my account A email address, and all that I keep on doing is changing Account A's password.  I tried to answer the security questions - which I did - but was told that my dog's name is not what my dog's name is! 
    ALL that I want to do is enable iCloud so that I can sync my contacts with outlook and iPhone.  iTunes 11 does not permit you to do this without iCloud. 
    How can I resolve this?  Any ideas?

    If your iPad is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it, if the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    If you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your account/security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.
