Reset Safari - Does Reset Safari securely dump all internet data from the computer?
It doesn't sound like "Reset Safari" securely dumps the cache, history and other internet files and then overwrites the disc with useless info so special data retrieval programs can't resurrect the deleted data? Is this the case?
So how do you securely empty Safari files so the special data retrieval programs can't resurrect the data and the dumped data is overwritten?
Luckily, you can't delete Safari.
Try searching for it in Spotlight, if it shows up you can look throgh the home screens or folders and try to find it. If it doesn't show up, make sure Safari isn't disabled in Restrictions uner Settings > Restrictions.

Do not use iOS 7. Attempting to install iOS 7 will cause your phone to require a factory reset, thus wiping all your data from the device. Save your data, do not attempt to install the new iOS 7.

Hi,
I would suggest you to uninstall Adobe Reader using the cleaner tool and then re-install the latest version.
Adobe Cleaner Tool:- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs.
Latest version of Adobe Reader:- http://get.adobe.com/reader/
If you still experience the same issue, please share the following information:-
- Screenshot of Adobe Reader showing printer options
- Screenshot of Microsoft Word showing printer options
- Screenshot of control panel- Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers

HT4623 Why does connecting to S/W download fails whether from the computer or iPad?
Why does connecting to S/W download fails whether from the computer or iPad?
Where are you trying to download? My App Store app is working just fine.
First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
My provider is terminating email service so I had to change my apple ID. I did that in iTunes but now my icloud on my PC wants me to sign in under my old id, I don't see a way to update to the new ID without deleting all cloud data on the PC. Is there another way so I don't have to resync everything from the cloud?
Check the list in the link below, how to change all services, after you changed your Apple ID:
What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204071
In particular, for iCloud:
Update your Apple ID or password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and Apple TV.
iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID or password. The data in iCloud will automatically appear on your device after you sign in.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm. You might need to enter your password. Your data will remain in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter your updated Apple ID or password. -
Clearing all historical data from the graphs
Hi all,
Now that I have upgraded to 4.1.1c I want to clear all historical data and start from scratch with the graphs/stats/reporting. Is there a way to do such a thing? Could not find anything in the docs other than "clear statistics all" which seems unrelated.
Thanks
Adrianhttp://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/waas/v411/configuration/guide/monitor.html#wp1043484
Enclosed is the report montioring and configuring guide.
The clear statistics command clears all statistical counters from the parameters given. Use this command to monitor fresh statistical data for some or all features without losing cached objects or configurations. -
Had to buy a new computer, how do I transfer all data from my iphone4 to new computer?
- Transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- To transfer other music you need a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up.
- Restore the iPod from that backup -
Question about moving all iTunes data from one computer to another.
I have a Windows XP. Now I have a windows 7. All of the songs from the XP are available on the new computer via a Z drive. But when I plug my iPod into the new computer it says that it is registered with a different library and asks me if I want to delete all the songs and apps and replace them from the ones on the new library. I don't want that to happen. And all of the apps on the old computer aren't available on the new one. How do I get the apps from one computer to another, and how do I sync my iPod on the new computer without erasing all high scores, app data, songs, and other information? And how do I get a song fro the new computer back to the old one?
DevinThis is the way I would normally recommend that you migrate your library from one computer to another.
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
If you have content on the new computer that you want to add to the library on the old one then copy that across via network/memory stick etc. before attempting to migrate the library again.

I bought an IPad Air a week ago and asked the guy at the apple store to have all my information and documents transferred from the old iPad to the Air. However my iBooks and photos are empty. Please help. Is there something I can do or I just have to go back to the store?
Using the same Apple id and Password you should be able to download purchased apps without being charged again.
I download to an iPad/iPad2/iPhone3 & iPhone4 with no problem. -
TS3682 I have just reset my phone but I have lost all my data from my phone how do I retrieve my dat
How do I recover my data as I have lost it from my phone but it would not retrace it from iTunes either so how am I supposed to get my data back please someone tell me I am really anoid by this happening so how would I get my data back if there is a way then that will help me
You should be storing everything on your computer and/or cloud service. Nothing should only be on the iphone. The iphone simply allows your computers content to be portable.
Where is your "data" stored? -
How do i delete all my data from the ipad 4 from my PC?
I know what my password should be but when I made it I guess I put it in wrong. so basically, I don't know my password. I tried putting it in but now everything is disabled and it says "connect to itunes" . now I just want to restore it but everytime I try restoring it, it says "The iPad software update server could not be contacted." "Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later." This happened last night and ive tried about 30 times. the method I have been using is disconnecting the USB, turning the iPad off, then turning it back on while the USB is plugged back in. After that it says "connect to itunes" on the iPad. So what should I do now? I just got it for Christmas and I don't mind all the data being erased cause its not hard to put back on. so PLEASE just tell me how to do it. I also never synced it to my computer. so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me! And if you could tell me, how much would it cost to bring it into apple and they unlock it for me? id rather not do this, but if I have no choice, I will.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!!!! :S
#PLEASEHELPFor more secure reason, I'd suggest to double check whether the data is removed cleanly with Erase All Content and Settings. The data is still recoverable as my pass experience. And no all devices are capable of using this method. Privacy is much more important. I highly recommend this method instead to permanently delete everything on your iPad by overwriting random digits to existing data. And there is no chance to get those data back.

Connect the iOS device to your computer and try to make a backup
iOS: How to back up
Then restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
