how do i reset security question answers? i have logged in clicked on password & secuirty but have no link to reset

If you don't already have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you won't be able to use that route to get your answers reset - and you will only be able to add one to your account by answering two of your questions, so you will need to get them reset first, in which case see if the instructions on this user tip helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

1. Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
2. Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
3. Select “Password and Security” on the left side of the page.
4. If you have only one security question, you can change the question and answer now.
5. If you have more than one security question:
          - Select “Send reset security info email to [your rescue email address].” If you don't see this link or don't have access to your rescue address, contact Apple Support as described in the next section.
          - Your rescue address will receive a reset email from Apple. Follow its instructions to reset your security questions and set up new questions and answers.Didn't receive the email?

How to reset security question answers when you don't know the answers?

I made the account about 3 years ago and i don't remember the aswers to the security questions. I've seen numerous questions similar to mine and they say just go to appleid.apple.com and manage account, password and security and then there is a button to reset the security questions. I do not have this. I can't buy anything after putting 15 bucks onto the account because i need to answer the security questions. I can't reset the security questions because i need to know the answers in order to do anything. I tried calling and apple says to use expresslane, and i've tried, 3 times, and nothing has come to it. I emailed itunes and I have recieved nothing from them. Is there any way to reset the security questions so i can actually buy music with MY money?

If you aren't seeing the send reset link then you don't have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.

I had my iPad 2 replaced recently and now face the problem that when I go to purchase an app I am required to answer my security questions (which were set up a good 6/7 years back.
Is there anyway I can reset them without having to provide the current ones?.
