Reset security questions email
Hello! I've recently tried to change my Apple ID password but I was unable to because I forgot my security question answers. I had clicked on the "Send reset security info email" button and have waited for quite a while now for the email. I use Gmail. Please help! I would like to know if others are experiencing the same issue. Thank you.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

how to reset security questons
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then see if this user tip helps you get the questions reset : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then try Apple ID Account Security
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 -
It says the email sent to reset the security questions, but the email doesn't show up when looked for in the email address to which it was sent. Is there another way that i can reset the security questions or just change the email to which it is sent?
If it's not in the spam filter and you can't correctly answer two of the questions, you need to contact Apple.

HT201363 "Incorrect" instruction re: resetting Security Questions?
Just called Apple Technical Support phone line and it seems that the instruction for subheading "If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID password" under "What should I do if I don't remember the answers to my Apple ID security questions?" on page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5665 is incorrect. The instruction "sign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to reset your security question." seems to imply that the user should be able to reset his/her security questions if he/she remembers the correct answer to one of his/her security questions and has his/her password, but there is no link on the given page to reset your security questions, and the Apple representative with whom I just spoke said that a phone call is necessary in such a scenario.
Hello Adepage
The only way that it is done is through the web browser and you would also need to have a rescue email address setup to send the reset security questions email. If you do not have access to that then you would need to contact the iTunes Store.
Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5312
You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

I want to change my security questions, but the option" forgot your answers? send reset security info email to" doesen't show, and after I answer 3 wrong questions, it's bloked for 8 hours, how can I change the answer to this questions If the link doesen show on the aplle wb page?
The 'send reset info' only shows if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If it's not showing then that implies that you haven't got one on your account, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your security questions - in which case see if the instructions on this user tip helps you get the questions reset : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

I am trying to purchase songs. I am ask 2 security questions. I can't remember answers. I hit the send reset, security questions. I am not getting any response back. I went in and added another email address and verified it hoping that this would work and i would get it sent to that address. Still nothing.
I have a $15 itunes card tied to this. Any help is appreciated.Hi CDB,
A second email address is not going to help you. You would have had to set up a Rescue email address prior to forgetting the security questions. At this point, you will need to contact iTunes Support to get them reset:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699?viewlocale=en_US
or by email:
https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
You may want to look into two-step verification to replace the use of Security Questions, once you get this resolved:
