Reset security questions without rescue e-mail.

1) I bought electronic redeem code for 100$
2) I registered appleID with correct personal data.
3) I activated my redeem code.
4) I got 100$ on my account
5) I tried made one purchase to see if it works fine. It worked just fine.
About one month past. I tried to make another purchase and it asks me security questions. I dont remember my dread job or my highschool friends name.
I didnt provide rescue email.
The only I have is appleID and password. I tried to remember the answers, but it seem that I mistuped some letters. Now the account is blocked for 8 hours.
So how do I get my appleID back? Why cant I Just use it? What for these stupid questions? Why theres no option to disable them? Why cant I just use the stuff I paid for?

They are there for security e.g. if someone gets your iTunes account password then they won't be able to buy items on their computer/device without being able to answer your questions. You can't disable account security.
If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . Or, if it's available in your country, you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570

  • How to reset security questions without knowing the answers?

Ok so it isn't that complicated and i have done this before, but I cant figure out how to reset my security questions without knowing the answers.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

the problem is that i have forgotten my answers for my security question and i can't have a gift card 'cause i forgot it !
I'm sorry but please can anybody help me as fast as they can ?
-and for the rescue e-mail how can i add the  rescue e-mail to my apple ID account?
    thank you so much <3

Do you have a question about them ?
If you've forgotten your answers and you have a rescue email address on your account then you can use that to reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6170
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

  • Apple ID - Security Questions and Rescue E-mail

I have  aproblem that no-one can help me with - how's that for a challenge
    1) I cannot recall the answers to the security questiosn on Apple ID (do not even recall answerign the questiosn posed there).
    2) The rescue e-mail listed on my Apple ID acount is wrong.
To reset the security questions I need to initiate the rescue e-mail, which I obviously cannot do.
So how do I fix this.
I basically eithe rneed ot get the rescue e-mail changed or overirde the security questions asked.
Can anyone explain how to go about thsi isn simple steps?

    Hi Palmerc,
I have the same problem for my new Ipad. Forgot my security questions' answers  set up at the store and never receive the rescue email despite many attempts. My rescue email is my office email so maybe got block or deleted by the firewall (checked but not in my junk mail folder).  I am based in Asia but stupidly signed up for the Apple Care US package. I qualify for Apple Support but they need a US number.  Amazingly can't even find an email address to send to Apple Care  Frustrating..  appreciate if you can share should you find a solution. • Reset Security Questions without email

To purchase anything on my new iPhone, I have to verify my account by answering security questions which I made 5+ years ago without writing them down (big mistake). Anyway, after trying to reset the security questions, I found out that the recovery email for the questions strangely didn't belong to neither my parents or me. Is there anyway I can reset the questions with out the email or use another email registered with my Apple ID, change the recovery email, and/or verify my account with my new phone without the security questions?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
