Reset the maps

Hi alll
Please help me to re install the maps in C-007 ,i brought one monthand i did factory setting,now i cant find the Maps Icon on the list,I tried to download through ovimaps its sas launch but icant launch the maps, ,the message says it couldnt find maps on your devive or correptd, i checked in mass memorry E but i cant find CITIES files .please help me to install the maps

If you either go to Menu > Applications > SW update or use Nokia/Ovi Suite do you get option to update maps application?
You should be able to get Nokia Maps v3.08 11wk41 b02 upon your C7-00

Why after Reconcile inbound on table or cube in any mapping is reset non-default parameters (ex. hints, database link) in configure dialog of the mapping?

The behavior is intended... And the reason for that is: we could not change it, but then sometimes you do want to change it, sometimes you don't. We could provide flexibility, but then you may have to answer or confirm the selection... which you don't want to do too often. In this case we change, and I am hoping it does not create too many issues for you. Let us know if it does, and we can evaluate the enhancement request.

Try downloading another app - any free app - that seems to reset something and the apps may start working again. Try that first. If that doesnt work, try these steps
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close all apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

OWB Error while deploying the mapping Io exception: The Network Adapter co

We are using OWB 10.2 in our production environment.Actually we are using OWB only for development.
After deploying each mapping we will create scheduler job for execution of these mappings.
Recently our staging DBs port has been changed to 1522 from 1521 and i have gone throgh the below steps.
1) Changed the port in tnsnames.ora file.
2) In Start Control Centre Servioce ,i have changed the port to 1522 for owbownr user and started the service successfully.
3) i have run the script UpdateLocation.sql from the OWBOWNR schema and updated the port number.
4) I tried to run the UpdateControlCenter.sql in owbownr schema and staging schema also,but i am getting an error like below.

I have checked in OWB\Locations\Database\Oracle\Location\DB Connectors and also in Control Center\Location\Connectors,seems like there is no connectors created.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Also i analyzed the UpdateControlCenter.sql in that
select value into v_connectiontype from cmpstringpropertyvalue_v where logicalname = 'CMPLocation_ConnectionType' and propertyowner = v_elementid;
the qry returns 'SQL*NET'.
Any workaround for these???

How to reset the location of a Time Machine taken to a different time zone?

I have recently moved my Time machine to a different country and time zone. I have reset the whole thing, entered the right time zone in the manual set up, but it still displays the old location when automatically searching for time zone. Also, when using an iPod Touch and Google earth or Maps, it shows the old location as the current one. How do I reset the location on my Time Machine to match the current one?

+I had done that and it does show the correct time on my machine. My question however was about the location setting and it displays my former address and not the current one.+
There are only two settings on the Time Capsule related to location and time.
Open AirPort Utility, click Manual Setup
Click the Time Capsule tab below the row of icons and you will see time settings and time zone settings
Then click the Wireless tab and then click Wireless Network Options to see the settings for Country location.

It means that it is not connected to the Internet, so it may be turned off. Another option would be that somebody has resetted it to default settings and has changed the Apple ID, being impossible to track your son's iPhone. Anyway, report it to the police because it is the only thing you can do at the moment

HT5429 I noticed my moms iPad 2 had a option to print off the maps app, my iPad 2 does not. Has anyone else noticed this?

I was helping my mom with her iPad 2 and noticed her map app can print the map out by touching the bottom right corner. So I came home excited that I could do the same on my iPad 2, unfortunately mine does not have the print option. How would I change this?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Resetting the Sequence operator in OWB

I have a Sequence operator for one column in the mapping. It correctly increments by 1 for each row (nextval) . I have done some testing and now I want to reset the next increments. Like I want to start from 1 instead of some 588 like that which is result of my testing.
How to reset the sequence operator so that it starts from 1 again.

First you should create a store procedure that resets the last_number of a specified sequence w/ parameters sequence_name and start value. Then just call the stored proc from OWB to reset your sequence.

TS1702 I just updated my ipad2 to ios6.0.1 and now the stand view in maps shows no information. The maps are there, but are just the outlines with no text or roads. Help.

Why is my iPhone telling me to go right and on the map it show to make a left uturn? I think this needs to get addressed quickly before anymore serious problem arise and it's on ios6

Well I use my iPhone to direct to where I need to go especially now with ios6 maps since then I can drop Tom Tom app and not pay the yearly fee, but it's kinda hard when my iPhone tell me to make a right turn and on the map it clearly show me to make a left u turn and never a right turn what's so ever. This issue I think need to be addressed ASAP before someone gets injured making a turn. This type of issues can put people at risk and should be taken serious. I have other issues non related to maps, but this mainly the only one I care about because it is a danger to people.

I have done that and it is definitely on. My husband has the exact same phone and I upgraded his IOS at the same time, but this problem is not happening to his phone (we are also on the same plan, so our service should be the same). Our settings appear to be identical and my phone is showing the 3G symbol at the top, so I can't understand why it won't access the network.
I've turned it on and off twice and have reset all settings with my iTunes account, but it still isn't working.
I'm not a complete idiot with this sort of stuff - I have tried all the obvious things.

Can't start the (Map) Karten Application

I have used the Map/Karten App for navigation purposes yesterday. Suddendly, I could not start the app anymore. At the monet I have no idea what's wrong with the app - so far I have no clue what causes the problem.

Have you tried this? It can solve a lot of issues.
Try a hard reset by pressing and holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad while holding down on the home button at the bottom, until the Apple logo appears and the iPad restarts. Launch the app again and see what happens.

Can not use the maps Otherwise iPad will switch off itself

As the question described in the topic, I now want to reinstall this app or delete it from the first page, but I can not a way to do that. Could anybody please tell me how to do it-delete the apps from the first page. When I long tap the apps icon in the first page there is no delete signs appear on the left upper corner but they do from the second page.

My problem is not about reset. I can not use maps app, everytime when I tap the maps, the machine will switch itself off, which means the white apple appears on the screen. Also, I can not search any location by google map. My hypothesis is to delete the maps app then install it again. However, I can not find a way to delete it, as you mentioned it was firmware I could not delete it at all. But I still wonder if anyone here can give constructive suggestions to fix the maps issue.

The data is still being received by the ipad but not appearing on any of the maps.
Everything was working fine before the upgrade.

If you are having issues with your iPad not showing location information, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
