Reset the Release Strategy of PO when Terms of Payment key is modified

Hi All,
Please let me know how to reset the Release Strategy of PO, whenever the Terms of Payment Key value id modified.
Thanks in advance.

Naveen

Hi,
This is not possible in SAP standard.
You have to use User Exit;
M06E0004 - Changes to communication structure for release purch. doc.
And Function Module;
EXIT_SAPLEBND_002 - Changes to Communication Structure for Release of Purchasing

  • Source Determination resets the release strategy of the PR

    Hi
I am trying to automate the Purchasing Cyle by running ME57 as a batch job along with ME59n for stock items on contract, however when I create the PR and approve it, when ME57 picks this approved PR it assigns the source automatically but removes the approval! I am having the ABAP consultants debug this, however is there something elementary that I have left out?

Check if u have release strategy based on vendor - FLIEF. This could be a reason. When u change the vendor or assign a vendor, the release strategy is getting reset .

  • Reset contract release strategy ME32K

    Hi Gurus,
I need to reset the release strategy of the contract everytime some value on the item screen EKPO got changed.
I've already implemented the EXIT -> EXIT_SAPLEBND_002, but it only changes the header EKKO with the structure CEKKO.
    Please help me ASAP.
    Thanks.

For PR's, there is no header level data. Because vendor number is optional since it is internal document .
If you are releasing all line items at a time, need header level release.
If you release line item by line item, need item level release.
But in the case PO/Contract/SA, these are final reference documents and sending to the vendor as external documents.
That's vendor number is at header level field and line item in the PO are related to the single vendor.
You can release all the  items in the PO or u can reject entire PO, not a single line item.
That's why, only header level release is possible for the PO/Contract/SA.

  • Deleting of message type after reseting of release strategy

    Dear Team,
My requirement is when the PO is finally release and outputted to vendor, its relaese indicator is set to 'R'(i,e, Relaesed, no changes) . Now if for any reason i have to do some modification , I have to repeat the output via ME9F so as it seems that PO is again ready to output. Now using transaction 'ME28'', I will goto derelaese the the PO
Now I have the requirement, is there any way that just after dereleasing from ME28, the message type that I have added which allows me to reset the release, got deleted.
That when now i goto ME22N, for making the modification, their must not be any preconfigured message type and genereated when do any changes.
This is required to print the amendment in PO,
So please suggest if their is any modification or enhacement available to achieve the above
    Regrads
    SAPABAP

    Hi,
1st try with standard functionality and if not possible then go for enhacement. You needed in ME22N,if you do or make the modification in PO ,no preconfigured message type should be triggred automatically or no output genereated.
Lets example you have PO message type ZNEU and its clear that you need preconfigured message type should be triggred automatically for PO output for PO creation ONLY. Use the below path:
SPRO->MM->Purchasing>Message->Output control->Message tyoes-> Define message type for Purchase Order--->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
As you needed, then DO NOT make entry or if entry is there, just DELETE for PO change not to trigges any message type
    {Indicator for print----
    condition type
    2----
    ZNEU}
NOTE: Then think about how you will have PO print after any changes in PO.But you can think of not having automatically  PO message type on PO creation or PO changes and can ONLY enter PO message type manually for PO print. So do not select u201CAccess to conditionu201D check box in NACE t.code for your PO message type ZNEU.

  • Reset PR release Strategy - ME55

    Hi,
Can someone advise if ME55 can be used to reset the PR release strategy collectively? If not, is there a transaction code that can do so. Till now, i can only ME54 to single reset the PR release strategy. Thanks.

ME55 is to collectively release the PR not for resetting . so you have individually go in each pr and reset the release . there is no such tcode for collective reset.

  • ML81N Enhancement to trigger the 'Release Strategy'..very urgent !!

    Hi Guys,
ML81N work in a manner such that if the net amount for any PO/Service entry is less than $2500 then its 'Release Strategy' tab is not active, because the minimum value should be 5000$ to trigger the 'Release  Strategy'.
I have a requirement where i have to make that tab active and select the Lowest Release Strategy (the one for 5000$) even when the amount is less than $2500.
I have already tried with the ser exit EXIT_SAPLEBND_003, its a blank user exit and the structure available is CESSR.
Can any one tell me how to activate the 'Release Strategy' tab and the lowest Release stratedy should be selected ????
What i have investigated is that once i will set the Release Strategy to the lowest Release stratedy then that tab will automatically become active.
Please tell me how to select the lowest Release strategy using the CESSR structure ?
    Points will be awarded...
    Thanks

  • Release strategy should refresh when deleted PR  is undeleted .

    Hi all,
My client requires as below for PR's,
The PR release strategy should get to intial at any stage if the PR is released for some releae codes earlier, deleted & after the PR is undeleted.
    Regards
    Ashish

This cannot be achieved through standard release strategy configuration.
Basically the requirement is any change on PO price should result in blocking of the PO. You can create a custom field in the PO header that will function as a Price Change Indicator. Add this indicator to the release class and trigger the release strategy when the Price Change indicator is set to "Yes". Populating this custom field with value "Yes / No" should be carried out using a user-exit by invoking it in the PO change transaction.

  • Item category control the release strategy?

    Hi,
Currently the purchase of a material needs to be released.
My issue is that as soon as I change the item category in the sales order,
the material does not need to be released.
How does item category control the release strategy?
    Sincerely,
    Ketan

    Hi Ketan,
You can set item category in the characteristic of a release strategy.
In your case, I guess the item category characteristic is already created. So you can just add the desire value into the characteristic.
Go to SPRO > IMG > Material Management > Purchasing > Purchase Requisition > Release Procedure > Procedure With Classification > Set Up Procedure With Classification > Release Strategies
Select the related release strategy, double click to view the detail. You will see there are 4 buttons in the bottom of the screen. Choose 'Classification' and enter you value of item category.
    Thanks & regards,

  • How to set the Release Strategy without classification for PR

    Hi,
I am able to set Release Strategy for PO with classification, however, now I want to set the Release Strategy for PR with classification. Can someone tell how to proceed to set the Release Strategy to PR with Account Assignment.
I crated the Release Codes, however not able to find what options to choose in the following steps :-
    Release indicator
    Assign Release Indicators
    Release Points: Prerequisites
    Determination of Release Strategy
    Regards,
    Yogesh

    1. Release codes
Create the release codes.     For  Purch. Officer, Manager and Sr. Manager
    Like PO, MG, SM
    2. Release indicators
Define release indicators and branch to the detail screen. Here you
define whether fixed purchase requisitions may be changed by Materials
Planning, for example, and whether an RFQ or a purchase order may be
       created from the requisition.
You can also determine the field selection here.
In the area "Changes after the start of the release procedure", you
specify whether a requisition may be changed after the release
procedure has begun. You specify whether the strategy has to be
redetermined after changes, or whether the release procedure has to
start all over again from the beginning.
This parameter bears a relation to the parameter "Value change". For
example, previous releases are not cancelled if the value of the
requisition item after the change does not exceed plus 10% of its
       original value.
    Attention:
Be sure to create a release indicator (e.g. B for "blocked") that
serves as the starting point for subsequent indicators. Do not set the
indicators for release for the issue of RFQs and PO on the detail
       screen for this indicator.
Also create a release indicator characterizing the released status.
Set the indicators for release for the issue of RFQs and PO on the
       detail screen.
You can use sytem defined indicator in this case you don’t have to do anything
    3. Assignment of release indicators
Assign a release indicator in dependence on the status of the release.
    Example:
You create a release strategy S1 consisting of two release codes 01
and 02. Release with 01 is a prerequisite for release with 02. If
release has been effected with 01, the requisition has been given the
"all clear" for the issue of RFQs.
You have created the release indicators B (blocked), 1 (cleared for
issue of RFQs) and 2 (cleared for RFQs and PO).
Now enter the following as assignment:
    Strategy   C1  C2  C3 ...
       S1                          B (blocked)
       S1         X                1 (RFQ)
       S1         X   X            2 (RFQ/PO)
    4. Release prerequisites
Define which release codes are involved in a release strategy. Specify
whether a code is set for a release status following release, and
whether one release status is a prerequisite for another (+).
       Example:
      Strategy   Code  C1  C2  C3 ...
    S1         01    X
    S1         02    +   X
    5. Determination of the release strategy
Determine the conditions under which each release strategy is
assigned. The criteria are account assignment category, material
group, plant, and value of the requisition item.
Here you can define the you criteria but one thing you keep in mind that you hae to define all criteria.
E.G if you will not define the Material group here but it will default in req in that case this will not work that’s the reason you have to work with Classification.
<b>In the classification whatever criteria you need that only you have to include like in your case you care about A/C category and value only.     </b>

  • I can't select a Payment Method and a key for Terms of Payment Key...

    Hi All,
I've created a G/L account with open item management but it isn't a reconciliation account.
When I post a document on this G/L account, I'd like to select a Payment Method and a key for Terms of Payment Key.
I can't find the fields to select them....
    Why does it happen?
    Thanks

    Hi Umberto Gandalf,
I got you. Payment Terms are objects used to excecute incoming and aoutgoing payments, and Payment Method are used to define net due date and conced discounts.
Srikanth said above a way to post an invoice by FB01. If you are trying to post an invoice you should not use an Open Item acount. You must use Customes and Vendors Master data to do it. Your GL Account must be assigned in those masters data to take place on GL balance. Payment Terms and Payments Mathods will be entered during Invoice posting process.

  • Terms of Payment Key in line item with Special G/L Indicator

    Hi All,
Displaying the line item of a financial document with Special G/L Indicator,
I can't see the Terms of Payment Key (BSEG-ZTERM).
Could anyone tell me how to make it shown?
    Thanks
    G.

    Hi:
BSEG-ZTERM is not contained by SAP standard dynpro:SAPMF05A 304 and hence it is not possible to display payment term in down payments with special GLs indicator, The reason being that the terms of payment not only control the due date but
also the cash discount terms. Hence it is not feasible to display terms of payment in Down payments. DP forms part of balance sheet and hence it is not system design to display payment terms with special GL indicator, Hope it will help you.

  • Terms of payment key in INVOIC01 Idoc

    Hi,
We are processing inbound INVOIC01 IDOC types to load suppliers invoices in SAP.
In the segment E1EDK01, the field ZTERM ( Terms of payment key ) is filled with a valid value. The problem is the invoice is created with blanks in that field, so the value of the IDOC is not transported to the invoice.
Does anyone have had a similar problem, and knows how can we solve this ?
Or does anyone has any idea of what may being heppening ? Like the need to use another segment of the IDOC or anothe issue(s) i may have attention to.
    Thanks,

I solved the problem with EXIT_SAPLMRMH_014.
The process does not pass in other sugested user-exits.

  • Resetting RFQ Release Strategy

    Dear colleagues,
We are using RFQ release to select appropriate bid among set of biddings. Suppose an RFQ is approved, letu2019s say RFQ number 10, within a set of RFQsu2019. After negotiations with vendorsu2019 new bids are made, letu2019s say RFQ number 20 and 30, which has fewer prices than the approved one. In this case RFQ release should be reset, but it does not.
I know that SAP considers PO, RFQ, and Contract as purchasing documents and logic of release strategy are same.
Is there any way to achieve this requirement?
    Regards
    Metin

    Hi,
You are trying to use release for which it is not supposed to be.
Release is for only for the approval of an RFQ before it is issued to Vendor.
In your case if you are having multiple quotes for an item based on the negotiations carried out with vendor, the same should be updated to the existing RFQ created.
For example you created RFQ-R1 for vendor V1 and RFQ-R2 for Vendor V2.
When you first receive the quotations you maintain using ME47 for RFQ R1 and R2.
Now when you negotiate with V1 and get a better price the same should be updated in R1.
So this way R1 at any point of time will have the latest negotiated price.
The item changes recorded when doing the changes can be viewed if you require. You may have to create a custom report to view these.
Similarly the Me49 might need to be customized to suit to your comparison needs.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Regards
