Reset the spiral original prefs in the tools panel

Hello,
When you create shapes and start to play with the original settings, like in the star, spiral or polygon tools, either by using your arrow keys when drawing or clicking on the tool to change it's preference there, is there anyway to get the tools to reset to the original settings without trashing prefs for the entire; program.

If I want to reset all the tools without trashing preferences I just quit out of Illustrator and relaunch the program.

Reset the tools in AI CS6?

Is there a button or easy way to reset the tools in AI CS6 without exiting the program? Specifically the Star tool.

Why do I need to press the CTRL-button to view my extra options in the tool panel?

strange!
all of the sudden, I don't get my extra tools in the tool bar (left) when I hit the black traingle in the right bottom corner.
It appears to be the same problem in ALL my CS4 programs.
I thought there was a conflict with my system OS X 10.6.2.
but after searching for days, I see that the extra options in the fly out menu become visible when I hold the CTRL-button and click on the black traingle.
any idea what has happened here?

but I didn't need to do that in the recent past!
when I simply clicked on the triangle, all the other options become visible. now, when I only click, nothing becomes visible!
now I need to click using the CTRL-button at the same time.
what has changed here?
I phoned my collegue. he doesn't need to use the ctrl-button either...

Adobe CC just installed Acrobat DC. Where are my plug-ins from Acrobat 11? I use PitStop Professional but it is not in the tools panel. Do I need to reinstall?

I can't find the tools panel in dreamweaver cs6. I am on a PC. I have tried to view all windows and toolbars. Where is it?

I need the eyedropper tool in Dreamweaver CS6. In all other Adobe programs it is in a Tools Panel on the left of the screen. Where is it?

DW doesn't have one.
Keep in mind, DW's interface is still very Macromedia-esque since it was acquired by Adobe.

How can you tear off tools from the Tool panel?

Is it by dragging the cursor over the arrow at the end of the hidden tools panel and releasing the mouse button?

Are you taking some sort of test?
I mean the question you ask look like so. You might try and look it up in the manual.

How to reset the TOOLS in Photoshop Elements 12

    Hi everybody :
                        Every time I use the clone tool, I get the 'crosshairs" instead of the "circle".   I check in PREFERENCES to make sure I have the "circle" selected.    And I also click on RESET TOOL.   But, it seems that I have to shut down my computer, reboot, and then the CLONE Tool wiil use the "circle" to select what to copy / clone.      What could possibly be the solution to this dilemma ?

How can I delete the gap tool from the tools panel?

I find it useless and I want the type tool where it has always been.

You can disable or remove it from the Extension Manager, but you can't remove the Page Tool that I know of and when you remove a tool from the toolbar things don't shift upwards, so you just have a gap where the Gap Tool used to be. Not all that helpful. If you do your toolbar as single column rather than the dual column that I prefer it's a non-issue.

Why have I lost my options in the tool panel

All my tools only give me one option. For example the dodge and burn only allow burn. This has happened since I updated photoshop.

A little more info about your system may be helpful.
I haven't seen a lot of folks reporting this issue here on the forum.
You could try resetting your Photoshop preferences to defaults. Press and hold Command - Shift - Option simultaneously (or Control - Shift - Alt if on a PC) immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.
The "nuclear option" would of course be to fully uninstall and reinstall...

Under "CLIP" all featured options are grade out. Please Help!!! Also the blade and blade all are not shown in the tool bar...

Why are the tear off tool panels so much larger in CS6?

Am I missing something? I typically tear off the tool panels for quick access. It appears the CS6 interface and made them much larger and they no longer neatly tuck into the top of my screen.
What is the funtion of the small dashed line at the top of each panel? It just seems to make the panel needlessly larger.
Ok, I see they are "handles" for docking the panels. I'd rather have the smaller panels!

you can't add buttons to the tool panel using javascript, your only option is to create a plugin, you'll need C++ for that.
yes, you'll need the SDK...if you need help with that, there's a dedicated forum for it
