Resetting AppleID security questions

Good Day
I have not forgotten my password and can access my account with no problem however i am having a problem authorizing my pc as it asks me to enter my ID and Password and once i have done that it then asks me to answer two of the three security questions i answered when setting up however i cannot remember them at all so now i would like to know if i can reset them in anyway. I have e-mailed apple support and all i got was i must reset my password and as you can tell by now that is not the problem i am having.
Thanks

HI,
As you know the password and can access your Account in various places then Start Here
This is the Apple ID Support page
It is a portal to create a new Or Login with an Existing Name.
Choose Manage Account to Login.
Once you have logged in at the next page you then go to your account.
On the left is a Menu with Security and Passwords.
As you entered the page with your passwords you don't have to re-enter any details.
You can change the Answers to the Question your originally set or you can change both Questions and Answers  (I would not suggest changing Questions only as you would still need to remember the answers that you say you can't ast the moment )

I can't remember my AppleID security questions. How do I reset them? When I log in to my AppleID and try, it asks me for the security answers that I cant remember! Please help

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

  • How the **** do you reset the security questions? And how do you add a backed up library to a new computer?

So I have a couple issues and I am extremely frustrated, I'm about to smash all of my apple products.
First issue is how do you reset the security questions? Can't seem to find the "forgot answer" of anything like that.
Second is my old comp crashed so I backed up my iTunes to an external HD, got the file on the new computer, installed iTunes, got alot of my old music from iCloud, but didn't get all my music so I went to add a folder like the support thing I found said, but there's only an add file option, do I have to add each song?
Is there a way to get the songs from my iPhone to the iTunes library? It has all of my music on it as well
    Thanks
    Mike

    For the security questions......
On your computer or safari on your iOS device navigate to:
              For Canada - https://appleid.apple.com/ca.
              For United States - https://appleid.apple.com/us/.
Click the "Manage your Apple ID" button, and sign in to your iCloud account.  Once in, on the left side select "Password and Security", and this will populate our options on the right side.  You should see an option to reset your security questions.
Also see this article about your "rescue email address" - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312.
If for any reason you can not reset these security questions, or get an error, then you may need to contact Apple directly - http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57.   Explain the issue, and they can get your to a "Account Security" agent, who will be able to verify your identity, and assist in resetting the security questions.
    For iTunes....
Is the music you are missing purchased from the iTunes store?  If so
you can Download Past Purchases - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.

  • Problem with reseting my security question

Recently  i want purchase cash from racing rivals, the saddest thing i forrgot my security answer, and  i went to reset my security question but i was unable to reset..so please help me out,the info from customer care doesnt help me.Thank you

Well, if you already tried resetting through iforgot.apple.com and you could not, you need to get in touch with AppleID account security to see if they can help you with this.
    Go here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699?viewlocale=en_US

  • HT1918 I need to reset my security questions in order to download music

What do I do? I'm so frustrated with iTunes right now

You can contact the Account Security team by following these steps:
    Please navigate to:
    https://expresslane.apple.com/
    Choose:
    iTunes > iTunes Store
    Then for Topic choose
Account Management > Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password (any concerns regarding security questions also fall under this category)
    Choose Continue
You will be given the options to Talk to Apple Support Now or Call Apple Support Later, please choose the option that works best for you. If the hold time is long, you might only have the option to talk with them later.
If outside the US or Canada, and your country has Apple Phone Support, you must call and ask for The Account Security Team. They will then ask some security questions. If resetting your Security Questions, you must have a Credit Card on file so they can reset your Password First, then they can help reset your security questions.  You should be able to add a credit card via iTunes or appleid.apple.com> Billing. <-- Very important, or they can nto assist you!!!

  • HT5312 how to reset my Security Question

    hi
how to reset my Security Question, i will try many times but i cann't please help me for that

What have you tried many times ? If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

  • Question in regard to appleid security question

Is there a link that goes directly to changing appleid security questions? Please post the URL that pertains to this questions

IF you set up a rescue email, the link to reset the questions is below the questions on the AppleID page, Password and Security.  It will be a link below the questions.  If there is no link, or if you don't receive the email, you can call AppleCare for assistance in resetting the questions.  You WILL need access to a computer when you call.  AppleCare phone number: (800)-694-7466.

  • How to reset your security questions

I'm trying to download an app and it keeps asking for my two security questions. I can't remember the answers to any of them, the obvious answers are not the real answers (stupid me). I went on appleid.apple.com, logged in and went to the security section. It asked for the answers to those same questions, but there was no link or button below that said anything about resetting them. I've looked at past questions about this issue and there was a button below where you could reset the security questions, but I guess they took it away. I would really enjoy having this app, but I can't figure out my security questions' passwords.
    Thanks!

  • I have been on the phone with Apple support trying to reset my security questions because I have forgotten them, she said I had to go on the apple website and find a code.. what is this code called?

Does anyone know how to rest their  security questions because I have forgotten mine!

How to reset your Apple ID security questions.
Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
Log in with your Apple ID and password. (If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email)
Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'.
This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
If that doesn't work, or  there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.
    Next, go to https://getsupport.apple.com
(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')
Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
    A new page will open.
Choose 'Other Apple ID Topics', then 'Forgotten Apple ID Security Questions'.
    Click the blue 'Continue' button.
Select the contact option that suits your needs best.
