Resetting back to In Development

Hello,
We have an action called "Reset back to 'In Development'", this action is based on action "TESTED_AND_NOT_OK_MI" from action profile "SDMI_ACTIONS". In that action, we use the standard PPF method HF_SET_STATUS and kept the assigned parameter RESET_STATUS = 'X'. At the time doing this configuration a few years ago, we did not require the authorization key for status "Being Developed" assigned to the tester role, this meant that the tester can reset back to "Being Developed" when a test failed by using that action.
However, after upgrading to support pack 23, we have noticed that this is no longer the case. Our question is whether the functionality changed or if this is a defect.

The key is embedded in BIOS and is retrieved automatically.
Did you create your Recovery Media? If so I would boot from them. Some-not all- people have reported problems with using the builtin Recovery option after updating to 8.1.

For recovery using the builtin option-See the section here on "Recovery when Windows 8 does not open correctly". I know it does open correctly but this is the safest way to launch a Recovery.

I have recently installed two multimaster directory servers (DSEE6.3.1).

I have no issue with data replication between servers. But I noticed that both my firstchangenumber and lastchangenumber resets back to 0 everytime I restart the directory server. This causes the changelog not growing as dn = changenumber=1,cn=changelog is already exists.

Thank you for the reply. I am not replication the change log.
However I was managed to identify the issue and I found one of the missing system indexses causes this reset.
Added following index to the directory and now all are working fine.

Resetting back of a selection screen in a webpage

Hi All,
I have a requirement wherein once i am trying to run a report on Web UI(Web Page Report deveoped on WAD). Once i click on the report link it takes me to the link of a selection screen wherein i input certain values and then click on the run report button to execute the report. The issue occuring here is once i enter the values in the selection screen and click on the run report, the report output opens fine and in a correct way in a new window but the selection screen resets back to a strange kind of a page wherein i am no longer able to select different values. It shows a blank kind of a screen which certain tabs on the top of the page showing exceptions,variables,etc. I need to keep the selection screen intact without letting it get reset to that kind of a page so that i can make different selections on that. What happens in the above case is when i click on the back button on that webpage with strange view, the selection screen comes back.I dont want this transition to happen and want to keep the selection screen intact. Please advise.

Do you have a current backup of your phone, if you do then restore to that backup.

Power Options Settings keep resetting back to default and system goes to sleep.

Hi I have Windows Server 2012 Standard R2 installed on one of my servers, in which there is an issue with the power settings. In power options it keeps selecting the Balanced plan by default. Even if I manually change the power plan it still keeps resetting
back to the default Balanced plan which in turn puts the System to sleep after 4 hours. Please let me know if there is a way to resolve this issue. I have even tried using powercfg -SETACTIVE from command prompt by giving the appropriate Power Scheme
GUID. But it didn't work either. Anyone please help me with this issue. Thanks in advance.

Again, this is something outside the bounds of Windows Server. Windows Server does not do that. I looked at default installations of both physical and virtual servers and there is nothing there to cause a sleep or power off.
In fact, the only real power setting I see in the Balanced power plan is to turn off the display after x amount of time.
Do you have power savings enabled on your NIC card? Is there some setting in VMware?

First order of priority - Establish what platform is in use. In this case: MacBook Air with Trac Pad, no Mouse.
Second - Establish Operating System in use. In this case: OX 10.8.3.
Third - Establish, as best as you are able, the parameters in which you have been attempting a work-around and, to include mention of, any other secondary software program capable of becoming a default other than, in this case, Preview.
Fourth - State the problem: Adobe Reader somehow automatically has become the Default PDF viewer.
Here's my answer: When a trac pad not a mouse is in use - Select the PDF you will be opening; don't open it, Select it. At this juncture, tap COMMAND - I (Unfortunately Apple has no Drop Down Menu motion to achieve this operation that I can determine); at this point you will get this:
Click on "Open with: " If you see Adobe Reader there in lies the problem. So, simply click the "up/down" arrows on the Selection Window, and from there click on Preview. From there on Preview will be your Default program.

This usually happens after the Nano has been exposed to moisture. Tried putting it in a bag of dry rice for a few days.

Hi i have emailed the mods many times concerning this matter can i please have my snr reset back to its optimum 6 or 9db i have had a steady stable speed now and would like it reset back to what it was please. @ rodger i believe it was a hub fault at first then too many resets on my part from swapping hubs over and being impatient (had to learn the hard way!). Advice from you guys would be great though. I am considering buying a new router where i can use the dgt firmware to lower it gradually myself or maybe getting a bt business 2700 as ive herd they can hold the snr on long lines. I was syncing at 3.4 minimum so ive lost 1 mb in speed and that was stable since my line was up and running untill i had a hub issue. Maybe i need to wait longer but noone is telling me anything concerning it. So some advice would go a long way

We reset back to factory settings, we had to try a few email addresses before finding one we could use. Now it is asking to verify one of the email addresses we didn't use. How do we get out of that?

We reset back to factory settings. After a few attempts we found an email we could use to set up as Apple ID. Everything was working great. Now it has pulled up one of the email addresses we tried to use, and is trying to verify, and asking to continue to complete the set up. It gets to a certain page, and stays there, won't let us get out of the page. We shut down the iPad, but it came back to the same thing, when it restarted. What do we do to stop this?

You will need another iOS device or a computer in order to do this, but I assume that's not a problem since you are on this forum.

Has anyone any ideas other than the Apple shop to fix the tilt issue, reset back to factory default, still not working, changed the locking position, and more or less given up. Seen lost of notices around Temple Run and how this seems to happen after installing that particular app.

You have indicated you did a restore with no affect. You don't mention specifically if it is not working with multiple applications or not. I have had one or two apps that quit recognizing the tilt. If it is just one or two apps, delete and re-download/install those apps. If it is with all apps, then you are indeed looking at a trip to Apple to get it fixed. Slideshow resets back to Slide 1 (after 1.2)

Once again LR is not playing a slideshow all the way through. After 5 or so slides, it resets back to slide 1.
I thought this was fixed in Version 1.1, but now we are back to square 1 with this particular problem.
Anyone else experienced this?

I was having the same problem -- the slide show would skip back to previous images without making it all the way through the show. I searched the forums and found what I think is the answer.
Select all the images you want to run as a slide show. Go to the Library module and under Library select Render Previews 1:1. After the previews are rebuilt the show runs smoothly now. Good luck.
