Resetting database to old incarnation key

Hi All,
I am getting RMAN-020207 error while trying to restore database to old date.When checked in metalink it suggested some steps regarding how to reset database to old incarnation. however i could find it for 8i only.
my database verison is 10.2.0.4 and have RMAN catalalog.
Can anyone one please let me know the correct steps to reset database to old incarnation?

Hi All,
we have one request that is we need to refresh the database to previous incarnation.
i need to refresh the database to 1july 2009.
I have the incarnation dbinckey on 25th june and the second resetlogstime dbinckey on 23 may 2008.
By mistake i reset the incarnation key to 23 may 2008 instead of 25th june.
After i drop the dataabase and again reset the incarnation key to 25th june2009.
I need to ask you that we can reset the incarnation again to 25th june 2009 after resetting the incarnation key 23rd may 2008.
Could you please help me on this.

How do I find my old License Key?

I am trying to track down one of our old license keys for Crystal reports desktop designer V8.5.
We are running software which uses crystal reports to print out transmittals.
Due to a change in the company, the logo's on the reports need replacing. The only version of Crystal reports designer which is compatible is V8.5, which I have but the License for it was lost before I started working at this company.
Would there be a database where the keys are kept?

-Click on Help -> About Crystal Reports..
-Try to find from Registry Editor:
Click on Run->Type regedit ->
Expand Software folder->Crystal Decisions-> search for Keycodes
you can also try to log a incident for keycode:
For a new key:
Request key codes for new orders via SAP Marketplace (SMP), will receive a download letter on new purchases providing them with their SMP login credentials. Using these credentials you can login and click in the "Keys & Requests" tab > Request a License key.
If your Key code does not work
You need create a customer message https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/message using component XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ.

IMPORT x TO y FROM DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID Key

Hi Experts,
I'm upgrading me version of SAP to ECC6, so when I execute a program an error triggered when importing object "ADDONS".
I got this message :
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MIS not caught in procedure "ISU_BILLPRINT_INTERVALS_CLOSED"
"(FUNCTION)", no by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipate exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is: When attempting to import data, the structure of the complex object h1 _ "ADDONS"_h1 was not compatible with the target object. The error occurred with component no. 0.
When I launch the ABAP Debugger, It stops at this part of code :
* Read basics and addons from database
import basics to l_basics
         addons to RED_PARAMS
         from database rfdt(kk) id l_runkey.
I realised a small research on the net to get an idea about The ABAP statement IMPORT x TO y FROM DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID Key, I found this :

F2 TYPE P,BEGIN OF TAB3 OCCURS 10, CONT(4),
END OF TAB3.
INDXKEY = 'INDXKEY'.

But I didn't understand what's ST?
So can any guru tell me what's the meaning of ST, and how can I resolve the above problem.
I know that my problem consists on a difference between the structure of ADDONS and RED_PARAMS.

We've encountered a very similar issue in an upgrade scenario. The same error message regarding missing or incorrect ADDONS ...
Our issue was an inconsistency when passing 'old' parameters / program variants to 'mass activities' programs for transactions such as 'FPSCHEDULER' and/or 'EL16' ...
We did also open an OSSmsg to raise awareness with SAP.
However, a simple workaround/test would be to identify the related programs that are affected by the issue. The variants or relevant setting to these 'mass activities' programs are stored in the cluster table (such as 'DBTAB' or in our case 'RFDT') mentioned in the shortdump message.
Due to upgrade-changes our stored input did not match the new structure for the upgrade environment.
When you've identified the relevant program and their variants / parameters, simply recreate the variant or create a new one, so the cluster table stores a new record in the cluster table ...
In our scenario, we were able to surpass the shortdump.
This might be only one of few methods to solve related issues. In any case, this simple test can prove to be a good addition for your analysis when posting an OSS.

Way to find out old Encryption Key

Hey everyone,
Is there a way to find out the old Encryption Key? I just recently upgraded an old 5.9 database to WT6 PL10. I am getting the Padding error, however I used the same Private Key from the old database and matched the Installer to it. Is there a way to find out the old private key? Not sure how it changed... If I can't figure out the old key, what do I have to do to get the old database online to match the Keys? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The private key is used to create a one-way hash and therefore cannot be discovered by any sort of reverse engineering. Web tools uses RM PKI encryption which is specifically built to disallow such operations.
1) Try recreating the hash by opening the Installer in tasks mode(Installer -tasks from command line)
2) If this doesnt do the trick, re-initialize the synch and clear out only the data that synchs, which does not include themes or catalogs, but be ready for the subsequent sync to take a minute or so, ok more like an hour or more
3) Don't forget to recreate the web.config file(installer -tasks again) if you change the private key. In fact you may wish to do this now, just to be sure it has the right one, and the updated version of it, since this is an upgrade from 5.9(.Net 1.1)

My hard drive & mother board had to be replaced, I am trying to setup my laptop & trying to re-sync but it will not let me use my old sync key, how do I reactivate using old sync key???

We would need to know the version of Mac OS you are running and the version of Photoshop you want to install.
The serial number is the tricky part. If you have no idea where you placed it and did not register your product with Adobe, your chances are very low of retrieving it.

There is nothing to resolve. Serial numbers are platform specific, but platform swaps only apply to current versions, meaning CS&. Your CS4 is not eligible for an upgrade, so your only option is to buy a new CS6 license or sign up for Creative Cloud.

How do I convert the old sync key (12 characters, no dashes) to the new sync key (31 characters, 5 dashes)?

My sync key used to be 12 characters, no dashes (xxxxxxxxxxxx). After uninstalling and reinstalling FF 3.6.13, Sync 1.6.1 refuses my 12 character sync key.
I discovered, that sync keys for all users have been switched to 31 characters including 5 dashes (x-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx). How do I get the new sync key?
I have no PCs connected to Firefox Sync anymore but Firefox Home and 360 Browser on my iPhone sync successfully. Unfortunately on the iPhone I cannot display the currently used sync key. Is there a way to convert the old sync key to the new one?

I had the exact same symptoms you did. Here's my solution:
I installed an older version of firefox sync (1.4.something, I think) and then added my account using my old short firefox sync key. When trying to sync, the outdated addon said that in order to perform the sync, it needed to be updated. After updating, I was still signed in, but now had the added feature of seeing my new long firefox sync key which was compatible with FF 4b, etc. Everything is working smoothly now and my computer is syncing correctly.

TThat's the problem. I've tried to delete the current icloud account but in order to that you need to put in the old password which I don't have so it kicks me out.
