Resetting Photo Stream Problem

I have problem resetting my photo stream on iCloud. Cant find the advance option under my email account it was replace by notification option. Any idea where can I find the advance option under iCloud.com

Interesting... I don't see it either.  I know it used to be there, because I've used it before.
It would seem this article, http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2607 , is no longer accurate.  Or, it's been temporarly disabled for some reason.

  • HT204022 How do you reset photo stream?

The default setting in iphoto has pushed my entire photo library to the could. Or atleast attempted to. I stopped it before all 30k pictures were uploaded. The problem now is when I turn photo stream back on in icloud it is trying to download 4,300 pictures. All I want to do is stop this madness and reset photo stream.
I have tried the old way by logging into icloud.com and but the advanced settings in your account are gone.
    Please help!

At the present time you have to delete them from the my photo stream album on your iOS device to remove them from photo stream.
Or just wait 30 days, when the photos will be automatically deleted from the stream servers.  After that, just turn off photo stream in settings and back on.  This will delete the photos on the device and download whatever is on the server.  Of course if you keep adding photos to the stream, that won't work well.

  • ICloud photo stream problem

Hi all - I really need your help.
My iPhoto '11 was working just fine until I upgraded it to 9.4.3.  I also just installed the recent system upgrade.  Now I am having multiple problems. It seems to stem from Photo Stream.  Activity Monitor shows that Photo Stream is using up gobs of CPU which is strange since it is supposed to not be working...
In iPhoto, under the preferences, it shows that Photo Stream is not enabled.  If I check the box to turn it on, it just unchecks itself just as quickly.  But in the system preferences, it shows that Photo Stream is set up just fine.  Photo Stream is certainly not working.  And it seem to be totally screwing up iPhoto.  I have tried multiple iPhoto fix options (option alt fixes, restoring a backup library, uninstalling then reinstalling iPhoto) with no improvement.
I'm not sure if the problem is coming from iPhoto or iCloud Photo Stream problems.  I am running OSX 10.8.4 on a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7.
Can anyone tell me what to do?  Thank you so much!

Well Old Toad, I am stumped.
I double checked and logged out of iCloud in both user accounts and made sure that PS was not enabled on either library.  Then I restarted the computer.  I went back to my main user account (second account set up = non administrator account) and to my main iPhoto library, logged into iCloud, tried turing on PS = did not work.
If I do the exact same thing as above for a restore of a backup of my library = does not work.
If I do the exact same thing above but log in with my first account (not my main one but it is the admin account on the computer) and access the test library I created = PS works just fine with no problem.
It seems the problem with PS is limited to my primanry account (non-admin).  Do you think the admin privaledges difference between the two accounts could be the problem...?
As always, I am thankful for your time and advice.

  • Resetting photo stream not clearing photo stream on iPhone

I tried resetting Photo Stream as explained here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4890
but the photos are still showing on my iPhone.
Any way to get rid of them?
    Thanks,
    doug

I do see that turning Photo Stream off on my iPhone and turning it on again clears the Photo Stream photos on the device.
But the reset of Photo Stream at icloud.com doesn't seem to work.

  • Trying to reset Photo Stream in iCloud

I logged into iCloud, went to advanced settings and don't see a Reset Photo Stream button, all I see is a Reset Documents and Data Button. What am I doing wrong or missing here?

Go to this discussion and read the response for randers4. See if that works for you.

  • HT204022 If I reset photo stream will the photos in my camera roll be deleted as well or will they stay in the camera roll and just be removed from the photo stream?

If I reset photo stream will the photos in my camera roll be deleted as well or will they stay in the camera roll and just be removed from the photo stream?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
When you reset photo stream from the iCloud.com website, the photos will remain on your various devices, unless you also disable photo stream synchronisation and then turn it back on again.

  • Shared Photo Stream problem

I have setup a couple of shared photostreams and these have been accessed ok by my wife on her iPad.  However my Mother is getting "Cannot find photo stream details.  This photo stream may have been changed or deleted" when she tries.  After publishing I did add and remove some photos but surely this would not cause such a problem.
I have searched everywhere for mention of this error text but cannot find a single reference.  Anyone else had this problem?

Same problem here. Others were able to get on the stream, I even remoted into my mothers computer and checked all the settings and they were correct. Anyone have any ideas?

  • Can't reset photo stream

I have installed the iCloud control panel and have all the updates on my iPhone 4 and PC for iCloud. Based on the instructions to "reset" my "Photo Stream," I log on to my account from iCloud.com and reset the photo stream.  However, I continue to get the following message, "Your Photo Stream could not be reset at this time due to a server error. Try again later."
Consequently, since I have installed iCloud I have been unable to reset my Photo Stream.  Am I doing something wrong or is there indeed something wrong with the "server?"

Use Safari to access Icloud.com.  Reset does not work using IE.  You can download a PC version of Safari from apple.com.

  • Can't Reset Photo Stream in iCloud?

I can't reset photostream in iCloud. When I try I get an error message stating that: "Photostream cannot be reset at this time due to a server error, please try again later." I have been trying for 2 days. Same result. Any ideas?

On your iPhone tap Settings > iCloud. Switch Photo Stream to off.
    Restart your iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Go back to Settings > iCloud. Switch PS back on.
Try resetting PS >  iCloud: Resetting your Photo Stream

  • Reset photo stream

How do you currently reset the photo stream. There used to be a way to do it at www.icloud.com but I read that was going to be obselete and I do not see the option there anymore.
When I log into iCloud on the desktop then merge with Outlook I see downloading over 40 photos but there are no photos in my Photo stream, what are those photos maybe there are Outlook contact pictures I guess or is there still a way to really reset the photo stream even though I do not see any pictures in my folders?

At the present time you have to delete them from the my photo stream album on your iOS device to remove them from photo stream.  You only have to delete photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in your photo stream.  If you want to keep the photos, be sure to save them to your camera roll first (tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

  • My Photo Stream problem

What is happening is that I cannot even see the "My Photo Stream" as an option in my photos on my ipad. It used to be there but disappeared after the ios 8 update. I have tried everything. Any help?

    Hi atoporo,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
I understand that noticed your My Photo Stream is missing after updating to iOS 8. It sounds like you have have enabled iCloud Photo Library beta. If this is the case, your photos may be managed a little bit differently than you are use to. Please read over the attached article for more information.
iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ - Apple Support
What happened to the My Photo Stream and Camera Roll albums?
The Camera Roll and My Photo Stream album are replaced with an All Photos album, which gives you the same compact scroll view, now with all your photos and videos organized by the date they were added. Learn more about finding photos in iOS 8.
After you enable iCloud Photo Library, all your original photos and videos are organized in one library. My Photo Stream will upload recent photos to share with your other devices, but iCloud Photo Library stores your originals. See how to upload originals below.
    Best regards,
    Joe
