Resetting the "DO not Execute " in closed work orders.

Hi Guys,
I have a scenario where I have to open old and closed work orders to make some changes and then save it. I am facing problem wit some work orders which were closed by using the "do not Execute" option, is there a way to reverse it so that I can update the work orders and then closed them again?

Hi Anoop/Jay,
May be its too late but still thought of sharing if anyone face the same issue.
I think you have set your order to "DO NOT EXECUTE" before release of an order which sets order status to CLSD.
In this case you cannot change status of an order but still can change malf. Start date and time.
You can only make changes to CLSD status by revoking business and technical completion if status CLSD is set post REL.

Yeah it works fine over wifi the problem is when I try to use it over my 3G. It's really stressing me out now.

The help explains what the Reset button does:
Reset—Aborts and resets the FPGA VI on the FPGA target to
the default state of the VI. This method sets the FPGA VI controls and
indicators to their default states, sets uninitialized shift registers to their
default values, clears FIFOs, and sets global variables to their default values.
This method does not reset memory. If an error occurred before this method runs,

galaxy note is what I'd like to see too. a 5 inch phone with the new ics would be awesome.
Unless they finally make a tablet with a dedicated phone in it that I could use bluetooth with.

Well the Galaxy Note has been out for a while and Verizon shouldn't let ATT get that little genius of a phone. I'd pass on the Nexus for the Note next month when I will be getting something new from Big Red.
Hopefully the Antena Will be fixed on the Nexus and Not A **bleep** patch that makes the bars register full strength instead of fixing the Antenas in the Nexus.

The fan on my mac runs as soon as the computer is idle, sleeping or shut down, i have tried resetting the SMC but it doesn't work i have to turn off at mains stop the fan.

Closed Work Order EAM

Hi All
i have case. i have maintenance BOM for asset activity.
1. there are Asset Activity "A" have material req "B".
2. there are Asset Activity "C" have material req "B".
i have onhand B = 1 pcs
running MRP pm generated PR for item B = 1 pcs and already receipt in Store.
why i cannot closed WO for A but i can closed WO for B?
anyone help me please..

You can't close the the WO because the PO is open. Because you purchased direct to the work order It will not let you finish completing the WO until PO is recieved and demand is completed. Same thing would happen if you tried to retire an Asset with Open WO's or Open Requisitions/POs

Purchase and release order not allowed for TECO work orders

Hi
We are typically setting maintenance work orders to TECO once the physical work as been performed as that sets the reference date for showing the history of when the maintenance was performed, and when the maintenance call was completed. However, we have invoices that may come in significantly later than when the physical work was performed.
Once the order is in TECO a purchase or release order (for services against a contract) cannot be created for the work order. Additionally it appears that even if we have a release order,or purchase order, if it is not for the exact amount of the invoice the release or purchase order cannot be ammended - we get the sameerror mssage (BS007) as when creating a new purchase order for the TECO order.
I had wondered about using BS22 to change TECO to continue to allow purchase and release orders when the order is in TECO status.
Any input on pros/cons or other approachs appreciated.

That was what I initially thought. However I was informed that if the invoice is not for the originally determined amount that to post the invoice means having to change the PO, and changing the PO appears to hit the same business transaction as creating a PO, and so we get the error mssage.
The issue is that we may know we need to have services estimated at, say, $5.000. But we do not know what the actual final invoice will be. So the actual amount may end up being $4,500 or $5,500 as an example, and it may come ni late from the vendor. The Purchse Order side is not my expertize, but I am being informed that the invoice must match the PO amount, otherwise the PO must be ammended to match. As the order is in TECO, the user cannot amend the PO.
I would be happy to know of other options, or at least good questions to ask. I want the end user to be able to post the invoice against the PO, after the order is in TECO, even it the invoice amount is not exactly the same as what was originally anticipated.

Amount Column not showing up in Work Order

We use SAP Business One 2007A. We have a work order program which is an add-on. When viewing a list of work orders or when viewing open items list for work orders, the amount column does not show up. I tried everything with the format settings and it wont work. Any solutions to this?

Automating the services for object for a work order

Can anyone post an ABAP code using which we can automate the process of creating a note for a Work order at the time of saving the work order. I need to create a note with the work order at the time of saving it. This note needs to be attached automatically. Can anyone help me with the code to do this?

Uhm... If you want us to do your job, how much are you willing to pay?
How is the note "attached"? If it's an attachment using GOS then the code has already been posted on SDN - look it up. You'll need to add it to the work order creation (I'm guessing there should be some kind of BAPI or FM).

Oracle WAM does not bring up a work order

This is my first time working with WAM and I can get to the home page and the scheduling page but when I click on either Service Request or Work Order, it brings up a new page with only a menu bar on the top. From here on, it does not matter what option I choose, it does not bring up anything else. It does start the java applet. I am on a 64 bit windows 7 OS with IE 9. I also have java 1.6.0_24 installed and I need that version for another app so I am really hoping that the java version is not causing the issue and there is a work around for it. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

You can't. And even if you manage to do some sort of hacking or jailbreaking the first gen simply lacks the power to run the later operating systems.

How to find the material received in warehouse for work order through table

I am creating alerting system We have requrirement that if the notification or work order is pending for 10 days then alert to be sent to planner and 20 days to his senior and 30n days to his senior
We have created FM for this every day program will run and check open work orders and notification pending for some days
Now my question in the FM I want to add fields for material receipt
Idea is say for refuebsihment order pending material is received in warehouse now when this is received alert to be send in the work order planner that material is arrived
From which tables I can track this and how to know for the alerting system that material is arrived in warehouse so alert to be send

With reference to your second point , if your looking for some alret then whenever you have goods receipt or goods issue of stock material you can have a mail triggerred through workflow .. in our project what we did was , we had a user status ALMR - All Material received and this is SET by a Z programme which checks whether all stock materials or non stock materials against the order have been received and sets the user status and this programme is run as a batch job with 30min frequency ....

Where Clause in the block not executed

I have this in the where clause in my block, I want to exclude managers. I have added a flag column IS_MGR to prs_employee_profile and I added this line to query(where IS_MGR <> 2) “ value 2 for true” and but it doesn’t work. prs_amp_profile is the emp table and this block is based on atn_emp_week , emp_id is a foreign key. all the conditions are working except for the one i added and it is still bring the records for the managers. Any body can tell me why the condition is not being forced.

    )I don't know your table-structures, one possibility would be that :GLOBAL.GRP is ATN_ADM at testing for this overwrites the other conditions.
I would try to check the condition in sql*plus, apply it to the block when its working.
