It sounds as though you are doing something wrong or at least that something is going wrong. Are you saying that content synced to your Apple tv disappears every time you unplug it and requires resyncing again. Do you have to set it up again or does the content just disappear.

I would like to suggest adding a tab or an option to view which applications you have previously downloaded and/or purchased within the iTunes app store and on our iPod, iPhone, iPad, or even mac computers.
This would not only help us "consumers" (life-long beta testers) troubleshoot issues with missing apps after an iOS upgrade, reset or some other foreign issue, but help us track our purchases and finances. Having to sniff out and search for this information is time consuming and frustrating.

Apple implemented my suggestion as outlined above for these devices. However, needs modification. Those modifications to be able to select multiple applications that were purchased for the user to either re-download or delete from history. A similar option within iTunes. Though iTunes needs a serious overhaul to manage idevices better!

Thanks for your reply, however, I do have the j2se version tag set and when I have a Java Console window running along with my download the first line in the console window indicates it is using JWS version as 1.6 but the second line in the window indicates it is using JRE version as 1.5...I would like for both of them to be the same. Even when I try to change the featured artist in my I tunes, it won't stay with my other songs, and I want to be able to listen to my album in the order of the songs that the album has it.

The iTunes/iPod software isn't set up to let you sync songs from more than one libray, but if you manually manage the iPod you can add tracks from multiple computers without removing the existing content. Personnaly I think syncing with a library is a much better way to manage your iPod, so I'd suggest you just copy the stuff you bought at work onto a memory stick, then take it home and import it into your iTunes library there.

The find my iphone app has nothong to do with it.
That app simply allow you to find other devices using your ipod. It has nothing to do with fining the device on which it is installed.
If you set up the find my ipod feature that is built into your ipod and the ipod is on and it is connected to wi-fi and it has not been restored, then you may be able to get an approximate street address using icloud.
Othrewise, it cannot be tracked.
