Residual value can't be verified

Hi experts,
I create asset master, then using ab01 to assign APC and accumulated depreciation. after that, in asset explorer scrape value line: 1 dollar
but I check my depreciation key setting, no cut off value key is defined, so where is this 1 dollar coming from?
also no memo value is defined
in my multi-level method setting, I tick "rem life", reduction column: empty
so where is this 1 dollar coming from?

Guaranteed residual value contract postings

Hi,
We have a process where a finished product is sold to a customer but remains on our balance sheet as an asset. With the sale a contract is signed with the customer that he will return the product, and the guaranteed residual value is paid back to the customer.
During the period the customer uses the product (usually a few years), the product is on our balance sheet as an asset and is depreciated (as a straight line depreciation) to the guaranteed residual value. The net revenue of the sale is posted as a liability and depreciated as straight line as well. Usefull life for both is the contract lenght.
I am considering to use asset accounting for the preceding process. Does anyone have experience with / advice about such an guaranteed residual value contract in SAP. I know SAP CRM has contract management, but CRM is not in scope and the sold product has to remain on the B/S as an asset.

Can I just confirm initially what the standard SAP process is for handling this scenario?
Is the following the correct standard correct:
- We use TPM1 for valuing the contract from month-to-month.
- When we reach the last month of the contract can we run some report to see which contracts are about to expire in the current month? Or must we keep a manual record of this?
- For those contracts that we now know are about to expire in the current month, what is the standard procedure for handling these? Should we be running TBB1 followed by TPM18 against these contracts? If yes, do we have to do any other steps prior to running TBB1 (eg must we settle the contract in FTR_EDIT or take any other actions)?
- Once we run the transaction to close out the contract (eg say you advise it is TBB1 in the step above) will this then take care of the contract in terms of teh accounting? Can you provide any brief guidance on what the update types should be and how they should be linked to accounting in the configuration.
FYI: We have tested some contracts using TBB1 to try close out the contract. The postings it made were to post a DR of the Buy Currency Value * Contract Rate to the FV Derivatives Account and then CR of the Sell Value Currency * Booking Rate at TBB1 valuation date to the FV Derivatives Account.
I have read the SAP documentation around Valuation but there is no clear outline of what the process should be. If you have any links that explain this I would be grateful if you could include them.

Email can't be verified as its already in use with another apple id

Hi there,
This is my conundrum.
When I got my iPhone 3Gs, I made an apple id with my @hotmail.com email.
Then when I got an @me.com email about a year later, and automatically I have two apple id's.
Well I tried to make the switch over to just using my @me.com apple id for everything as I don't use the @hotmail.com email anymore.
But now its saying that my @me.com email can't be verified for my @me.com apple id because its in use with a different apple id.
Somehow my @hotmail.com account was verified with the @me.com email.
I changed the @hotmail.com apple id to not be verified with the @me.com email anymore.
After successfully changing it I tried to get the @me.com account to have the @me.com email be the primary email address.
But it still says that it is verified with another account. I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. Any help?

Error is
Value can not be assigned automatically to char XX in Process Instruction IN_AA phase BB
I have checked the settings of Characteristics XX in T code O27C but it is OK.

How did you move your iPhoto library to the new system? the recommended way is Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formed Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.

CF9 Problems with Select * query, resulting in Value can not be converted to requested type.

So, I work on a legacy CF web site and there are numerous SELECT * FROM USERS_TABLE queries all over the site.
Well, we changed the structure of said table in the database on our Testing and Staging sites, with no issues.
When we pushed up to our production environment and changed the structure of the production DB table, the server kept kicking back "Value can not be converted to requested type."
After doing some searching out there, it looks like CF caches the structure of the table, and you either have to restart CF to clear it, or rename and then name-back the DSN to fix the issue.

That said, this doesn't happen in our testing and staging environments - so what would be the difference?
Is there some setting I need to change in the CF Admin to keep this from happening again?

Also, if you can use a Stored Procedure to retrieve the data, do so. Standard queries gets all the information, anyway, chokes bandwidth passing it all to the CF server, and forces the CF server to filter, sort, and format the data. SPs tell the db server to get ONLY the data requested, and forces the db server to filter and sort the data, leaving only formatting to the CF server.
That's not true. The only time CF messes with data returned from the DB is if there's a maxrows attribute, and the record set returnded from the DB has more than that number of records... which causes CF to truncate the recordset to the correct size before returning it. The DB might or might not stop sending rows down to CF after CF says "yeah, I've got all I want now".
Other than that, for all intents and purposes all CF does with the SQL is pass it to the DB and wait for an answer. The only thing it does to the returned data is to create a CF record set ("query") with it... this does not involve any filtering and sorting.

Using Image Capture to download images and video clips:
Open up Image Capture which is found in the Applications folder.
When it is opened, go to Image Capture/Preferences
Under the General button choose
Camera: When a camera is connected, open Image Capture.
The next time you connect your camera Image Capture will open.
In the window that opens you will see an Options button. Click on that button to set your options.
To find out more about Image Capture (it can do a lot more) Click on Help in the menu bar when Image Capture is open.

If you find you can't change any of Image Captures preferences or can't access any drop down menus or they are greyed out, check to make sure Image Capture is loose in the Applications folder and not within a sub folder.
I actually really like doing it this way. I save the movies into dated folders and save the images into dated folders. It makes it very easy to backup just the movies and images this way.

Why can't I verify a new Apple ID?

Updating to 10.5.8, error is mfg (Apple) can't be verified. Any alternative to manual download?

Is there an alternative to downloading and installing manually from downloads?

Which version are you updating from?
You could try getting the update directly from the online Combo update page instead of going through Software Update:

Downloaded latest OS X and installed on my Mac Book Pro (early 2008). No problems.
Then attempted to install on my Mac Mini 2011 and continuously getting the following message:
"This copy of the Install OS X Mountain Lion application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading."
I noticed that I am not the only one...
Anyone with a solution.
So far all I see are various attempts by people, some successful others not.
This should not be a frustrating complicated ordeal!!!

Yup, the safe mode/repair/redownload/install finally solved it - had to do it after midnight as all the 4gig downloads have already trashed my 60gig internet limit for this month, installed REALLY slowly bugt eventually at 0330 i had working Mountatin Lion on my Macbook.
This has to be the most tedious upgrade, Mac OR Windows, I've ever done. Takes me back to inserting 15 floppies for sheer inconvenience, and from the numbers reporting this problem, it's more than an occasional glitch. And for some reason the download always fails if left unattended, even if all the sleep modes, etc, are negated.
3/10 to Apple this time around.
