Resignation / Reliving deletion log data in actions infotype 0000

Dear all,
When we delete resignation/relieving entry in Pa30 in actions infotype 0000 no log is maintained.
where i can see the deletion log please help.

You have set the indicator in Table:  T529A. for the field U0000 for the leaving action.
If you set the indicator U0000, the personnel action type is stored in the Actions infotype (0000).

    I need some help in retrieving data from infotype 0000.
    The records for a certain employee id (10035532) for action infotype are as follows.. I trying to retireve the LOA action records
       BEGDA-ENDDA-MASSN-MASSG
    1. 04/01/2008 - 12/31/9999 - Z7(RLOA) - 02(FMLA).
    2. 03/01/2008 - 03/31/2008 - ZB - 03.
    3. 02/10/2008 - 02/29/2008 - Z2 - 05

    5  01/05/2008 - 01/19/2008  - Z5(Paid LOA) - 05(FMLA)
    I have to retrieve the Z5 record for this employee. For every Z7 there is a corresponding Z5 record that links to the LOA records, in most cases the Z5 is immediately followed by Z7 record. I am able to retrieve such records successfully. However for few employees like one here the Z5 record is the fourth or fifth record down from the Z7. How can i retrieve the record in such a case?
    Also in some cases the date ranges are missing in between, in such cases can we retirieve data succesfully? For ex:
    1. 04/01/2008 - 12/31/9999 - Z7(RLOA) - 02(FMLA).
    2. 03/01/2008 - 03/31/2008 - ZB - 03.
    3. 02/10/2008 -                   - Z2 - 05
    4. 01/20/2008 -                   - ZB - 07
    5  *01/05/2008 - 01/19/2008  - Z5(Paid LOA) - 05(FMLA)

  • Problem with Employment Status in Actions Infotype (0000)

    Hi All
    I am trying to upload the Pernr details for Actions (0000) Infotype in PA30.
    I am facing a strange issue, where even though i am passing '1' (INACTIVE) to the employment status (STAT2)field, it still takes the status as '3' (ACTIVE). Also, even though i am not passing anything to the Special Payment (STAT3) field, it still takes it as '1' (Standard Wage Type). What may be the reason for this?
    I am using the BAPI_HRMASTER_SAVE_REPL_MULT for HR Master Upload and here are the values i am passing to the BAPIHR0000 table:
      w_bapihr0000-obj_id = '00002400'.
      w_bapihr0000-infotype = '0000'.
      w_bapihr0000-to_date = '99991231'.
      w_bapihr0000-from_date = sy-datum.
      w_bapihr0000-changed_on = sy-datum.
      w_bapihr0000-changed_by = sy-uname.
      w_bapihr0000-action_type = '01'.
    w_bapihr0000-employment_status = '1'.
      APPEND w_bapihr0000 TO t_bapihr0000.
      CLEAR w_bapihr0000.
    And this itab t_bapihr0000 i am passing into the BAPI.

    Action Type 01 u r passing, please check the config ACtions Table, what is the Status Maintained for that Actin Type.

  • Capture the First Changed Date In actions Infotype In PA30

    Hi experts,
    I want to find out the date on which the actions record was created. Where can i find this ?.
    For ex if i am creating a record on 01.07.2011 with start date 25.06.2011 the change date would be 01.07.2011 in pa0000.
    If i change it on 10.07.2011, the change date would be 10.07.2011. I want to capture the date when i actually created it(01.07.2011). I tried the T.code S_AHR_61016380 . But it contains the log of the changes done from the second time.
    Can anyone plese help me?

    thanks for the reply. I tried the function modules and these function modules also return the logs of the data changed .
    But i need to get the log of the record when it was created first.
    For ex : for actions info type i created a record with start date as 20.09.2011 .When i tried the function module it did not return any values. Then, i changed the record i created for actions info type . now i executed the Fm , now i was getting the log for the data changed and not for created.Can some one throw light on this.

  • Log data for infotypes

    Hi folks,
    I have an task that I am trying to resolve, related to log data for the infotypes. I had posed this question earlier too. I did some research to find out an answer for this, but invain. Any help is really appreciated.
    The task is: The infotype is 0167 and there are changes made for health plan records(like inserting new plans, terminate the plans). I do not know what the endusers are doing, it is not creating log data for these changes that are happening.
    The program's logic is developed in such a way that it goes after these log records from PCL4. I believe it is not a programming issue, it might be some thing else.
    I need to find that out to resolve it.
    What might be the problem?

    It is a standard setting. The infotypes, their field groups and field group charcterstics are defined in V_T585A, V_T585B and V_T585C. I believe the end users are missing some process. Because it started to happen since a week or so. The same program was picking the records fine earlier and it has not changed.
    I do not know what kind of process they follow. what changed now? Since I am the only SAP guy out here, got to find it out.
    They are using PA30/PA40 to enroll and the web application. Both these records did not create the log data. The reocrds went through to SAP.
    Could there be any step they might be missing?

    Can we make the Employment status or Customer specific status editable in Actions Infotype 0000?
    I tried doing that in 'Change Screen modification' in IMG, but it isn't working.

    It is not possile to do it.
    Each action is assigned the three status indicators STAT1 (customer defined), STAT2 (employment), STAT3 (special payment) in the customizing system.
    When a personnel action record is created, the system automatically fills the Customer defined, Employment and Special payment fields if the action affects the employee's status.
    The first record of the Actions infotype is assigned the status specified in the customizing system. All other records
    have the same status indicator as the new personnel action if this is not BLANK in the customizing system.
    have the same status indicator as the previous record if this is BLANK in the customizing system.
    This applies to all three indicators.
    Can you let  us know the business need or requirement to do it??

  • "You are no longer logged into your profile" - So....Palm just decides to delete my data???

    I was told to post this over in this Palm forum also so hopefully SOMEONE from Palm/HP will address this... I could not find a bug report area but perhaps someone can log this.
    So after months of (mostly) happily using a Pre Plus, Wednesday I get the message that I am no longer logged into my profile, and do I want to reboot or erase my data??!! I googled, and yup, it's an issue....So I reboot...same options, this reboot, it starts and asks me if I want English as my language. Woops!!! No data!
    Now of course palm profile does not backup anything on my phone really....I sync direct to Exhange and use Chapura sync to a desktop Outlook PST file. So I spend the next 5 hours restoring and syncing. Just crazy.  Why can't it just say that you are not currently logged in, we will try again in an hour??  And what right does palm have to delete MY data that the profile does not even backup???  My exchange and chapura sync'ed data?  Sure, I can re-sync with both of those. But my Chapura only if I am on the same wi-fi network as the local PC.  So what does that mean if I am traveling?  And re-syncing a huge volume of contacts takes forever.  And you lose all the linked contacts also!
    So I call the carrier and Palm. The carrier says...."well if your phone originally was under another phone number and you changed it as part of an upgrade, that can cause it." Huh? This can affect me months later I say??? My phone number upgrade change was done BEFORE I even turned on the phone. Palm does not even know about that first number!
    So I called Palm.  The guy says it can happen if 2 people use the same e-mail or credit card in their palm profile. Now since it won't even allow you to setup the same e-mail twice, I'd like to know how THAT would happen.  No one on my plan uses the same card.
    So the question is. We know this happens sometimes. Is there any source with credibility that really knows WHY this happens??? And does any setting reduce the likelihood of it happening again?  And why can't Palm make the results less debilating?  There is NO REASON that it needs to delete your data.  This is crazy.
    Also, other than my few purchased apps, none of my critical data is even backed up by the Palm Profile!!! I still had to re-create all my POP3 accounts, change all my preferences back, re-sync with Exchange, re-sync with Chapura, and then re-marry all the contact duplicates that Synergy did not handle right. So what's the worth?
    Can the Palm Profile/backup  be turned off? Does changing the palm profile in the apps perferences setting from "submit password every 4 hours" (whatever that means) to only at purchase help??
    Do you have any other options when you get that reboot r erase prompt? Pull the battery without answering the prompt perhaps???????
    If I am on the road and this happened, I would be without half my contacts until I returned which is unacceptable. This is very disappointing. I cannot believe the default action is not "let's TRY AGAIN", and not, "hey, let's erase all of this user's data on him"!!!
    If this happens one or two more times, I have had it.  I will be looking at another OS and phone after having Palm phones and organizers for the last 10 years or so.  This is unacceptable.

    Thanks for the reply.  Nowhere in here do I get the sense that Palm even thinks this is a problem or are going to work on fixing it.  It implies Palm thinks it is okay and the problem is me, the user, the customer, because I do not want my data resided on Palm's servers or Google's servers.  Does Palm understand this is an issue whether my data is on my home PC or in the cloud and in Palm Profile???  The issue is not how I choose to store just one of my calendars and contact lists (out of 3).  The issue is a bug in the Palm profile system.
    The first point is this.... Regardless of HOW this happens, Palm should not immediately erase all of my data!!!!  Let's say I DID sync all my data to Palm Profile.  I STILL would not want to have to re-download everything just because of some glitch with your backup servers, the carrier's network, or my phone!!!  Go look at some pre forums.  You will see many people that DO sync all of their data to their profile, and they are STILL upset with this Palm BUG.  If security is the concern, how about asking for a password first vs. just asking whether I want to reboot or erase all data?  If it is really me, I would know the password!  Your answer seems to imply that what is happening is OKAY. It is NOT okay whether I sync everything to Palm profile or not!
    Further, even if all my data WAS backed up to Palm Profile, you still lose all preferences, all manually matched synergy contacts, etc.... etc... Again, I would still be very upset if all my data was erased even if EVERYTHING was backed up to Palm profile.  DON'T ERASE MY DATA!!!
    I have no problem re-synching my exchange e-mail after a problem.  It works from the road, etc.  However after 10 years, Palm decided to not suport the syncing of home PC's with the Pre.  An unfortunate decision as Palm was a pioneer in this.  You talk about security....Perhaps some of us do not want our data stored on Palm servers or google servers!!! Yes, indeed, in the event of a crash I cannot restore from the road. I can live with this if the crash was from a hardware or software issue.  But it is NOT OKAY if it is caused by Palm just because of some system glitch.  Since you are not restoring my home PC data anyway, why erase it?
    You talk about being logged out of your profile.  My phone was just used, and it was sitting on my desk.  Just sitting there. And then it popped up that "I was no longer logged into my profile".   What causes this?  Why does it not give me a chance to re-login?  How come after the erase of data and reboot I was then magically "logged in" and it was working?  Did the person that was trying to steal my non-existent data in my palm profile stop trying?  
    So are you telling me that someone was trying to use my phone SIM, on a pre plus, with my e-mail, and had my password....and trying to login, and that is why I got the message?  And then magically right after I rebooted, they stopped trying and all was okay???
    I do not believe that is the case.  And again, if it is, ask for my password, or a security question, or SOMETHING to confirm that it is me.  And a simple google search will tell Palm/HP that this is a problem many of us have had.  If I have it consistently, as I said, a 10 year customer is gone.

    V_T585A, V_T585B and V_T585C
    While configuring V_T585B, when i input * in 'field name' column it gives me an warning message " All data fields in **** infotype 31 will be deleted.
    Please let me know, what does this warning message means?
    Also, How is the report RPUAUD00 read?

    Hi Simran,
    you are not suppose to give the IT 0031-Reference Personnel Numbers in these tables. why because this will done at the time of Employee hiring only and we don't change this. if you change you will lost the old data in the IT.
    Normally we assign only the IT which we change frequently for the master data. example like 0 1 2 7 8 9 27 582 - 589 2001 2006.
    if you are configuring today means from today on-wards any changes had made to these IT's you can see in the report. before changes will not be seen. in the report you have to choose either long-term document / short-term document and remaining fields as per the requirement.

    I am trying to delete the change log data for a DSO which has some 80 Cr records in it.
    I am trying to follow the standard procedure by using the process chain variant and giving the no.of days but somehow data is not getting deleted.
    However the process chain is completing successfully with G state.
    Please let me know if there are any other ways to delete the data.

    Then there might something wrong at your Chang log deletion variant.
    can you recreate changlog deletion variants and set them again.
    Ty to check below settings with new variant.
    Red mark - won't select
    Provide dso name and info area, older than and select blue mark.
    blue mark - it will delete only successfully loaded request which are older than N days.
    Have you tested this process type changlog deletion before moving to prod per your data flow?

    I know the log data and traces saved in table SRT_MONLOG_DATA2 and SRT_MONI_PAYLTRC,
    But I don't know whick standard functin or TCdoe can delete the log data and traces,

    you cannot. not even in a test system.
    of course you can delete the structure from customizing, but this does not make the data go away. Contrary, you may just get a lot of errors when you touch this data.
    You usually have to archive all trasnactonal and master data . But you can only archive closed business processes, which is for most data in the test system not the case.

  • Delete change log data

    I was going through posts regarding delete change-log data but I am bit confused with the answers.My data is moving from ODS to CUBE and for the performance reasons I want to delete Change-log data from PSA and keep only 3 day requests.My question - if I delete Change-log  whether it effects the delta data from ODS to CUBE.Change-log maintains images so If I keep only 3 requests there will be images of only those 3 request data.If this happens then it will effect all the delta data going into CUBE

    Hi,
         Yes, you can delete the data from the Change Log unless until you do not need to re-construct the data again from the change log table.
         As a good principle for safety reasons if data is not too large, you can keep the data for 7days. This will ensure us to be safe. If something went wrong on week-end say 2 days were gone and on 3rd day the user has identified and raised a ticket on this. Forth day will be for analyzing and re-construction.
        So, unless until if the data is not too large, you can keep it for 7 days in the Change log table and the rest you can delete. As said by the other members, deletion of Change Log table does not affect the delta as it compares with the Active Table and creates a Before Image and After Images records and updates in the Change Log Table.

    For a DSO  I want to delete data from "Chnage log table"  and " PSA Tabel".
    For the DSO manage screen I have seen " Environment-> " Delete changelog table" from this we can delete chnage log table data as per my understanding.
    at PSA Level Mange screen also I have seen " Environment-> " Delete changelog table" from this option also it deletes the data from change log table or it deletes data from PSA table?.
    if this option also deletes data from changelog table then how we can delete data from PSA table?

      I am not sure what are you referring to from your point "PSA Level Mange screen also I have seen " Environment-> " Delete changelog table". When ever you click on manage for your psa you will be routed to a popup where you can see all your requests in the PSA table & there after if you click on any single request you will get Environment menu option but there wotn be any change log deletion option available. Please check again? Right clicking on your data source will take you to the manage requests for PSA. You can selectively delete the requests as required.
    For DSO when you right click on manage you can directly find Delete change log data option in the Environment tab. there you can select the requests you want to delete.
    Also if you want to automate the deletion process then you can simply create a chain and include the steps for PSA deletion & change Log deletion accordingly.
    Also it is recommended to keep on clearing the PSA table & Chage log data at regular intervals as it saves the disk space & thus helping in performance optimization

  • Duplicate entries in Infotype 0000 :- Delete problem

    Hi,
    There is a scenario where duplicate entries have been entered by mistake in infotype 0000 for a same action XE with same dates.
    If I am trying to delete one of them it's giving me an error "Action XE that changed the status was found . Data
    Inconsistency".
    Please let me know how can I delete one of them manually.
    I can do it through a program by direct table delete but don't want to do that.

    don't know if this would work.. but you can give it a try.. ensure nobodyelse is in PA30.. change the time constraint for 0000.. delete the unwanted record & change the Time Constraint back..

    Hi folks,
    I have a question related to the working of how the logs gets created when an infotype record is updated. Here is the scenario: I updated an action for an employee record in action infotype through PA40 and using an upload BDC program, the process took me through screens updating infotypes 0,1,2,7,8 and 19 to complete the action process.The changes are recorded in these tables. However when I checked to see the log records, a log record was created only for infotype 0.  Also I did verify that all these infotypes are entered in V_t585A, V_t585b and v_t585C to create logs.
    My question is: why the log records was not created for other infotypes inspite of defining these infotypes in the log maintainence tables? I am trying to understand this log creation process because most of our processes is directly dependant on it and poses problems .
    Any kind of help is really appreciated.
