Resizing Bug for Titles

Hello,
I'm using FCPX 10.1 and experiencing a weird bug for the title/text.
Whenever I'm trying to resize a text whether through Text menu or Video menu Transform - Scale after a certain size it cuts of the some part of the text.
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue or should I simply stop trying to use Titles on FCPX and continue using AE for titles.

What I'd be interested in knowing are what are the specs on your mac? Year, model and GPU vRAM size. My mac is a late 09 iMac i7 with ATI Radeon 4850 with 512MB of onboard RAM. My guess is that Apple is phasing out support for these older Macs and/or the onboard vram size of 512MB is no longer adequate.
I also suggest going to Final Cut Pro (menu) > Provide Final Cut Pro Feedback and raising holy **** about it. Having text fail like this in such a low resolution venue as video is absolutely unforgivable. (BTW - these problems do NOT happen in Motion.)

Yes, that's right, the same terrible resizing bugs, that I have complained about directly to Adobe MULTIPLE times have not been fixed.
Now we are told there is no patch coming to windows for CS4. Problem still happening. And its not just me.
So now I downloaded CS5 and HAD THE SAME ISSUES!
Seriously Adobe, sort yourselves out.

Adobe, when is it getting fixed?

I don't have any problem resizing the text with the Scale tool as long as I hold down the Control or shift key while pulling at a corner with the double arrow cursor. If you pull vertically or horizontally you get just the kind of distortion I'd expect. That's not a bug.

Showing a photo's image and camera information
iPhoto stores EXIF information with each photo in your library. This information includes the photo's image size, the date and time it was taken, and the type of camera it was taken on, as well as important exposure information, such as the shutter speed, aperture, and film ISO.
To show image and camera information:
Select the photo and choose Photos > Get Info.
You can also see a photo's title, date taken, rating, format, and comments by clicking the Information button in the bottom-left corner of the iPhoto window.

Again, why did you not state this in your original
question? Do we have to ask you every time what your
actual requirement is?
As I said in your last posting, if you don't give us
the reuqirement in you question we can't help you.
Sometimes your solution may be on the right track
sometimes it isn't. We waste time guessing what your
are trying to do if you don't give us the
requirement.
I gave you the answer in your other posting on this
topic. The AWTEventListener can listen to events
other than MouseEvents.
The Swing tutorial has a list of most of the events.

You are right, theer are some changes incorporated in the latest MLR # 16 on the configurations files and on the dehydration store metrics(such as performance, fields,..).
However, I would not suggest to continue working on olite, even for Development/Test purposes as you might get stuck with strange errors...and the only solution would be to re-install SOA Suite if your olite gets corrupted. There might be ways to gets your olite back to position, but trust me..its not so simple.
Also, when you develop and stress test all your testcase scenarios in an TEST Adv installation, its simple to mimic the same in actual production box, as you exactly know its behavior.
So, go for a brand new SOA 10.1.3.4 MLR # 5 (or) 10.1.3.3.1 MLR # 16 SOA Suite Advanced installation with Oracle DB 10.2.0.3 as its dehydration store.

I've a query related to dynamic date and year :

In the above query,Can we write one sum statement to get sum of bugs for a particular month and particular year dynamically?
for ex:2 bugs between 10/1/2011 and 10/31/2011 then 2 under oct_11
5 bugs between 09/01/11 and 09/30/2011 then 5 under sep_11
In this case we need to calculate correct no of days for feb

You need to iterate based on something like the month, quarter, year... Then query on that. I'll use a "WITH" clause to illustrate:

My songs are missing in the music and the used memory doesn't change. Is it a bug for IOS7? How can I fix it?

I plugged my ipod touch 5 via usb to the pc and browsed my music on itunes. And suddenly i played some music and there's a exclamation point before the song. I haven't deleted that song or moved. And the whole album was gone. And i checked the number of songs on my ipod and it decreased without change in memory used. Is it an another BUG for ios7? is there a way to fix it?

That indicates the song files are not corrupted.
Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.

A possible bug for Grid control?

Hi, Dear all,
We installed Grid control 10.2.0.1 on Redhat Linux R3 with existing database(10.2.0.4).
During the installation, we succeeded for repository creating but failed at OMS Configuration.
When I start oms in cmd line, I got the following error: the repository database can not be connected.
The description for the environment:
1. OMS server and repository database are installed on the same server, on which HA is used.
2. There are two floating IP on this machine,

3.When we installed the oms with OUI, the repository server we input is oem.db.paci.com.cn
The problem we found:
During the installation, the repository was created successfully. But it failed at OMS configuration.
The error we got: the repository database can not be connected.
there are two lines in emoms.properities which seems strange:
oracle.sysman.eml.mntr.emdRepServer=oem.db.paic.com.cn
oracle.sysman.eml.mntr.emdRepConnectDescriptor=(DESCRIPTION\=(ADDRESS_LIST\=(ADDRESS\=(PROTOCOL\=TCP)(HOST\=cnsz030318.db.paic.com.cn)(PORT\=1535)))(CONNECT_DATA\=(SID\=oem10g)))
The emdRepServer is what we have input on OUI:oem.db.paic.com.cn. But for the connectDescriptor, it is changed to "cnsz030318.db.paic.com.cn", which does not exist at all!.
Now, we have worked around this problem by adding "cnsz030318.db.paic.com.cn" in the /etc/hosts.
But my question is, why the connectDescriptor set the HOST\ as cnsz030318.db.paic.com.cn? Why does it not use the name we input in OUI (oem.db.paic.com.cn)?
Maybe it is a bug for Grid control?

Did you install with "Use existing database" or "Use new database"?
I recommend that you use fully qualified domain names only!

Is there a setting within iMovie that will provide for a different color background than black for titles?

Placing a title over a color background
1 In the timeline viewer, select the video clip to the right of where you want to add a title or text
and drag the clip to the right to create a gap.
2 Click the clip viewer button and locate the new color clip (it will be black).
3 Select the color clip and choose File > Show Info.
4 Click the Color box (shown below) and choose a color for the clip.
5 Click Select and close the Color box.
6 Follow the instructions above for creating a title, but don’t choose the Over Black checkbox. A
color clip is technically a video clip.

IMessage automatically sends as SMS even if turned off in the Settings. Is this a bug for ios 6.0.1?

I know there's still bugs for iMessage and so when I'm not on wifi but the iMessage is turned on, I don't wait for the iMessage to fail sending. I press and hold the message to send it as text message instead immediately. Then the recepient tells me that they receive my text messages twice. So what I did today, I sent an iMessage without being connected to wifi and let it attempt to send and let it fail. To my surprise, after failing as iMessage, it automatically sent as an SMS when I had that setting turned off. Do I make sense? Do you guys also experience the same problem?

Do I need to resize images for Keynote? I have images in a variety of sizes and wonder if there is a minumum or maximum size recommended.

All depends on what the end product is; a slide show on a laptop or projected 20 feet wide in a theatre. For best performance, images should be created to match the document size in; Inspector > Document > Slide size.
The slide size should as a minimum match the screen resolution of the Mac in;
system preferences > displays. The higher the number of pixels the better the quality.
However, many images are supplied that are much smaller than are required, resulting in them being enlaged beyond there best.

CS3 - resizing artwork for printing

Hi,
I have designed a new label WAY to big. And now i need to resize it for a small sticker.
I initially set the document to 1100px x 500px but need to go down to 5cm x 3.6cm.
I have a different objects hanging outside the 1100 x 500 as i couldn't work out how to use the crop tool
The scale tool only lets me scale by percentage.. and anyway i think the items hanging outside will stuff up the scaling.
Any tips?

As long as you have vector artwork only, you may resize both ways without limits.
1100/500 = 2.2, 500/3.6 ~ 1.39.
In other words you are changing to another proportion. You will have to decide one dimension.
In any case, there are multiple ways to resize artwork as desired, some to get to specific values or changes.
One is to select everything (relevant, you may copy the final version only to a new layer) and
set a value (including the unit) in the W or H box in the Transform palette, then Ctrl+Enter to retain proportions. That could be 5cm in the W box or 3.6 cm in the H box.
Or (if/once you have the same unit) you may multiply or divide by some number in the W or H box in the Transform palette, then Ctrl+Enter to retain proportions.

My guess is they don't care. Most likely they're illiterate and don't know what a colon is for. They probably think it's a little-used character. Remember: these are the people who don't know the difference between "deprecate" and "depreciate".
I have the same colon problem as you do. But it's not the biggest problem I have encountered in Lion. If it was only that I'd be Mr. Delighted with Lion. There's worse than having a colon - uh - that won't cooperate. A lot worse, in Lion.
