Resizing LM00 screens

Hi
I have tried switching between 16x20 and 8x40 screen sizes. On the VMU device, by default in some of the screens I get the horizontal and vertical scroll toolbar. which the users are trying to avoid. They want it all fit in one screen.
In the Handheld device, the fields and labels are getting repositioned to fit the screen.
I am using Symbol device. Does anyone have the same issue in the VMU and HH ?.
Also I noticed in LRFMD, there is one more option besides 16x20 & 8x40. It say 16x20ITS. but can't get LM00 to work with this option. Do you see this option in your system too ?

While creating the Internet Service for LM00 screens you should selecte "Mobile Devices" in generating style.This should solve your problem.

How to add multiple presets to responsive design view without having to resize the screen each time

I want to be able to add multiple screen size presets to the responsive design view capability but don't want to have to resize the screen and add each one individually via the custom preset function.
Have seen that some posts on the internet (http://g-liu.com/blog/2013/08/firefox-rdm-presets/) that say this can be done but cannot find where the config is held in ver 26.0?

You can also do the opposite and create custom settings in the responsive design mode window.
You can hold down the Shift key and drag the borders via the (right border, bottom border, bottom right corner) resize icons to get specific dimensions and give the current custom setting a name to add them as a preset.
This will add the preset to the devtools.responsiveUI.presets pref.

In iTunes under Windows XP, the screen is very wide and I can not resize it.

Resizing IE screen for reading

Hi, I just got the Lumia 822. Liking it so far.
Had a question about using IE and when you get on a website, how do you make it so that the website content (the story or body) is resized so that it fits on the screen. Right now, when I zoom in, it zooms in onto the left side only, this results in having to scroll left to right and back in order to read the stories.
On android, when I double tap the content, it automatically readjusts the content to fit on my screen.
Is this possible for IE on WP8?

The double tapping does zoom into the content but it does not word-wrap.
For example, it zooms onto the left side, and I would still have to scroll
left and right to read. It is very annoying.
I'm not sure if IE can fit the content to the portrait screen of the phone.

Keynote on IPhone resizing my screens!

I created a Keynote on my Mac that is 960 x 480 (so it would fill the iPhones screen). When I open it on my iPhone, Keynote resizes the slides they now do not fill the screen. Anyone have any tips on how to ensure that the presentation fills the screen????

Are the apps up to date.
Is the sync option checked in settings >iCloud and iCloud on in settings >keynote/pages/numbers.
Try restarting the phone.
Try logging out and in again to the iCloud account.

How do I resize my screen? I cant see the control f menu or the bottom of web pages unless I "restore down" to a smaller window size.

The problem is when you maximize the window -- it is even bigger than the area available? Or the problem is that normal windows are always too large and have to be resized manually?

Resizing Selection-Screen

I have designed a selection screen with frame.I am not getting how to reduce width of frame of selection-screen.

Hi,
The selection screen is a generated dynpro which you can design with limitations. The frame will be a consistant 118 characters wide and you can't change that.
If you have certain requirements for look and feel you will need to build your own dynpro an attach it to the report. But I would always go with a consistant design and leave it as it is.

My screens are bigger than usual so I can't see the battery on the right top or the words on the bottom of the screen. Does anybody have a solution? THANKS!

I have a problem with my the UI of a program. Depending of the resolution of the computer the layout is totally different and in some cases it is not usable at all. Do you know if there is any possibilitiy to save some of those layouts for the different resolutions? or any solution that can help me? Now I am checking generate dynpro but I think this is not a solution.

Has anyone tried emailing after the Yosemite upgrade? The size of the email pane is enormous and cannot be resized so I cannot see what I am typing as it disappears off screen to the right. This must surely be a fault?

The email window pane is huge and disappears off screen and I have not found any way to resize it. This means I cannot see what I am typing as the text disappears to the right off the screen. Only way to see what you are typing is to drag the pane to the left and then back again when the cursor moves to a new line. This surely must be a fault with the new Yosemite OS X?

Thanks, Bee! I never knew that one--it does resize the screen. But, what I want to do is resize it from the corner, or from the side, or from the top. I'd like to move it to another place on the page, if I need to. The bigger problem is that I can no longer click and drag to highlight a word or phrase, etc. Both of these things happened in Office and in Safari after I downloaded Yosemite. I feel sure that it is just some little trick like the one you suggested or some box that I need to tick to get things working like I've always known them to be. Thanks for any help you can give...

How to get Adobe Camera Raw to resize to fit on MacBook screen?

I am using Photoshop Elements 8 on a MacBook. The problem that I am having is that if I use the RAW editor without having it full screen part of the screen is hidden behind the Dock. I know I could hide the Dock, but I like to have mine show. Is there anyway to resize the screen so that all of it shows while the dock is not hidden?

Have you considered keeping your dock on the side of the screen?

I have an ALV in a custom container.
The custom container is marked for horizontal and vertical resizing.
At a higher resolution, only one vertical scroll bar shows - the ALV scroll bar.
At a lower resolution, two scroll bars show: the ALV scroll bar and the window scroll bar.
At the higher resolution, the ALV automatically scrolls to the row with a found item automatically (after doing a find on something beneath the last visible row.)
At the lower resolution, the ALV does not scroll automatically to the row with the found item - you have to manually scroll to see the row.
What can be done to fix this ?
Can I get the resolution somehow and then resize the screen and container dynamically ????

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

dynamically pass the varaibles...this way you can resize the screen..

Resizing Screen

Can anyone please write me the code for resizing the screen (Toggle between full screen & default size by pressing top right middle icon) as normal window . I am using Flow Layout. Will it make any difference ?
