Resizing the content of an IView which display a transaction

Hello,
Is it possible to reduce the size of the content of an IView to not have the scrolling bar on the right of the window ?

Unable to sort the content in KM Iview

Hi All,
            I am facing one problem in solving the sort issue. There is one KM iview which is using LinkListExplorer as Layout. This LinkListExplorer is using LinkListCollectionRenderer which doesent have the sort proerty.
I am able to sort in KM content for the same content because there it is using AdminExplorer.
Can anyone help me in sorting the content by using LinkList Explorer.

                 Thank you for the relpy.
As I am using the LinkListExplorer , in the Iview I am getting the   organize Entries link. when i click the link.... I will get the folders and files But I am not getting the Order option once I right click on any of the folders/files. Actually this order option is used to sort the content i think.
Can you help me on how to get the order option.

SBWP: The content of message is not display

Hi,
The user use SBWP inbox. There the message is not display the content of the message.
There I uninstalled and install again the SAP GUI and Windows, but there has been the same. Only the head of message is displayed.
There can only print the content of message.
What I have to do to display the content?

How exactly are you trying to forward an SMS as an email?
You can forward the SMS to an email address of your choice and that`s when your SMS will be converted to MMS, and sent to the email address of your choice . The recepient should get your message as "[email protected] carrier.com
Another way of doing it is to select "Share" instead of forward. Then a list of options will open that includes your email address. Select your email address and the selected text message will be added as "body.txt" and after this, you just have to enter the recepient email address and subject line (optional).
The recepient will receive the email with a "body.txt" attachment that can be downloaded and open in or with the "Notepad" on PC

I need to restrict printing but keep the Content Type and Page Extraction allowed. How do I keep both the content type and page extraction displaying allowed?

When I change the settings to allow for the content type and page extraction and save it, it shows allowed. When I close the pdf, reopen it, review the security properties, it shows the content type as allowed and the page extraction as disallowed. I need both to stay at allowed, how do make this happen?

The moment that you select not to allow any kind of change done to the file then pages extraction is automatically not allowed as well. There's no way around that.

Is there a way of resizing the contents of multiple bounding boxes at the same time using the number fields in the tool bar?

I'musing cs6 and need to resize an image and two text boxes to a specific pixel width.
I try selecting all of the boxes and punching in 960 px in the resizing field in the tool bar but only the bounding boxes and not their contents get resized...

Use the horizontal scale field (and include the units) rather than the width field.

Hi,
you can try to use the:
ConsumerTreeListPreview
layout for KM navigation ivew (or customize to your own).
This layout shows a folder tree on the left, a document list on the right. When you click on a document from the list it shows the contents of the file on the bottom of the iview.

Reading a Blob (CSV file) and displaying the contents

Hello Experts,
I’m currently working on a system that allows the users to upload an Excel spreadsheet (.xls) in the system. The upload page is a PL/SQL cartridge. Then I’ve written a Java servlet (using Oracle Clean Content) to convert the XLS into a CSV and store it back in the database. (it is stored in the “uploaded_files” table as a blob). I’m trying to create another procedure to read the contents of the blob and display a preview of the data on the screen (using an html table (will be done using cartridge)). After the preview, the user can choose to submit the data into the database into the “detail_records” table or simply discard everything.
Can anyone provide me any guidelines and/or code samples for reading the contents of a blob and displaying it as an html table? My data contains about 10 rows and 20 columns in the spreadsheet. I’ve been looking into using associative arrays or nested tables but I’m getting confused about how to implement them in my situation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your response. The reason that it is a blob is that we use the same table for uploaded files for several applications. Some files are text, some excel, some other formats. Hence the table has been set up in a generic sense.
However, in my procedure, I'm using
DBMS_LOB.createtemporary and
DBMS_LOB.converttoclob
Is there any way you could possibly provide an example of how to read the contents of the file?

Resizing of content areas

Hi there,
I´m currently faced with the situation, where I have to put some dynamic content on a master page, which can expand it´s height. This leads to the problem, that I´m forced to dynamically resize the content area for the page content to prevent overlapping.
Is that possible in general? I haven´t found any layout strategies to solve that and my trys to set it via JavaScript fail. The dimensions and coordinates of the content area are read only or rather the assignments are just ignored.
Any idea on how to handle that?

Sure, all my dynamic content is built with flowed containers. The problem is, that I have repeated content, which should display on all body pages. In general, there would be the solution to use overflow headers to solve that. But I have found a strange behaviour of nested headers some time ago (http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b6446b/4) and until now, there is no solution for that. Therefore, the content has to be on the master pages to avoid that problem. But without the chance to dynamically adjust the content area, I´m stuck with it.
Are there any layout strategies to solve that?

Getting the profile of all iviews in a page

Hi All,
I am having 2 iViews created from a single par in a page.
These iviews display some data in the form of a tree view.
The content of these iviews are different and are based on
a profile property value specified in portalapp.xml.
On click of the personalize option, another component (page) is
invoked which displays a similar tree view which can be edited.
The problem is this works fine if there's only one iview in a
page. If there are two or more iviews, the profile property
value retrieved got in the code is the same for all the iviews which
should actually be different for different iviews.
Can anyone guide me how to get all the profile properties correctly?

Compare and differentiate the contents in between versions - Document Library

I want to compare the version updates and the content of a document which stored in document library using document version.
For example: one word document has 3 versions,
Version 1.0 contents : Please
Version 2.0 contents : Please Help
Version 3.0 contents : Please Help Me
Now, either the difference of these version should be highlighted like Version 2.0 in Help, Version 3.0 as Help Me.

I dropped my ipad and I can no longer see the contents but they're there on itune

My iPad two was dropped - not hard only from a low table to the floor and it was in a leather case - now I can no longer see the contents on the iPad. I can see the contents in Itune but no display on my pad. Please help!

Try resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete the "Slide to Unlock" screen will display.

Copying the contents of a URL based directory

Hello all, I am trying to copy the contents of a folder which is a URL (i.e. http://server.com/folder) I don't know the contents of the folder, and I don't find a listFiles type of function for URL's. Please help.

There isn't a listFiles method for HTTP URL's for the simple reason that HTTP URL's don't represent directories.
It's possible, if the site administrator has turned the feature on, that a request to http://server.com/folder will return an HTML page that shows a user-friendly (and computer-hostile) representation of files in a certain directory. But it's not guaranteed for arbitrary URL's, and the format of that HTML page is not standardized.

Preview the contents of my ComboBoxes at once

I need to implement a "preview the content of my comboBoxes" feature.
Technically, I would like to show all the ComboPopups of the ComboBoxes of my app, at the same time.
At the moment, I have a small example to prototype this comboBox tweaking :

In this code, I use my own PopupFactory. It creates Popups that hide() only if a given boolean is set to true.
(the checkBox at the top of the prototype helps you control that boolean).
If you click the comboBoxes of the prototype, their comboPopup will appear and not disappear.
But, from that moment, the comboBoxes will behave erratically.
If you switch the boolean to false, the popups will not come back to normal behaviour.
And you will get some dirty zones under the comboBoxes instead of the correct repaint().
After some code digging, it seems that popups are really not meant to be in multiple at the same time in Swing.
Can anyone with good knowledge of PopupFactory, BasicComboBoxUI and JpopupMenu help me find a way to achieve
my "preview the content of my comboBoxes" feature?

You can try to scale the contents to browser width which would be same for all screens.
For example : Create a rectangle make it 100% browser width and then fill image.
When user will view the page it would be same for screen size as the fill will be browser width.
